You have no idea what you are talking about back in the day you had to be level 40 to get your first mount in wow. However I think tor is too linear and no real exploration is allowed in the game. You think tatooine is big? Wait to you try and explore and hit exhaustion zone over and over.

Yes the gcd should be the best representative of the combat but what I and many people on this forums is experienceing is almost the implementation of a false gcd merely for visual aspects. Look closer at the videos. The combat obeying the animations over the gcd. I believe bw knew what they were doing. They were trying to make a more "epic" combat feel and looks like their plan back fired.

You already told us that you love the combat system and the game is only 2 weeks old...blah blah blah. You made up your mind that you are enjoying this game. Good for you! Go play then and let us try to fix something that is broken to us. Why do you have anything more to say?

LOL wow is a dumbed down combat system! A mmo that is almost a E-Sport has a bad combat engine? LOLOL sorry but if you don't see problems with SWTOR combat engine you are probably a very unskilled gamer and very slow at making decisions. Perfect game for you.

and watch the game burn baby burn. Seriously, this is not an easy fix and will most likely not be changed. To fix this it would take an entire new combat engine and I don't see it happening. The problem was known since Alpha of this game and kept getting pushed aside for "more important" issues. People in Beta kept complaining about this issue and BW chalked it up to "don't spam your buttons" and "We want to give the combat a real feel so we waited until all animations finish before damage occurs". I remember reading BW saying pretty much this but the Beta forums are now gone. Either Way someone at BW will lose their job and this game will ultimately fail unless this is changed soon and it's not going to happen.

So this is how the game is supposed to be? We're just used to a very fluid combat system with no bugs whatsoever and that has been fluid since day one in wow. O yeah you're right. Game's not supposed to respond to my abilities at all and stutter. I guess I will sit and make sure I'm pressing the button just once and slowly too. Thank you for the lack of skill level of the pvp. Too bad Blizzard didn't make this game. truly I totally stopped playing this game for now and am going to wait to a official response to this problem. I am playing wow for now and not coming back if the pvp combat is going to continue like this.

YES 100% AGREE This game has a very low skill level in pvp and seems to be meant for clickers over keybinders. I really want this game to do good but the combat system seems to be intentional which is very unfortunate. I don't see them fixing this easily because the combat system would seriously have to be totally redesigned and I don't see it happening.

Yes there is a point. PvP is supposed to be about skill not rotation. Keybinding your abilities has always been the best response to your abilities. but because of the GCD and unresponsiveness of the abilities in this game, standing in one place and not trying to do much and clicking your abilities so far has lead to the most successful pvp in this game. I call the pvp in the game "Turret PVP" when you try to run around after enemies or if you try to kite enemies while at the same time trying to press buttons, it just doesn't work like it should. If you instead just stand there and turn at your enemy and click every ability it works. This makes me a sad panda. I'll guess I'll be a happy panda soon in WOW.
