  1. You could still get killed while you're outside the instanced area. It would be like the rest of CZ-198 where you still encounter PvP while questing. The only difference is that inside the zone you could focus on either Martinique or her assistant, whomever is there. The boss as-is is very poorly implemented, and needs some improvement. This seems to be the most sensible way to keep the speeder somewhat rare and not increase the spawn rate or nerf the boss. If you can think of a better solution to improve it than the one I suggested, please share. I do believe you should encounter possible PvP en route there and just outside there. PvP in daily zones is awesome. I am proud to say I have earned "Give in to Your Anger" on Oricon, which requires killing 1,500 players. But a champion boss with mechanics should allow players to be able to focus on said boss and not be cheated out of their loot they likely spent hours camping for. In addition, the abysmal way the Martinique fight is implemented when she does spawn, same faction can be as big a problem as opposing faction. It does not matter who deals the most DPS on the boss, what matters is who attacks first. And you cannot attack same faction there since it's not a free for all zone. Bioware needs to either (#1) increase Martinique's spawn rate, (#2) make the fight an instanced zone with a quest to be able to reset it, or (#3) reduce the number of players required on the moon before a new instance of the entire said moon is generated in order to satisfy the demand for the speeder. Of the three choices, I am saying making the fight with her or her assistant a separate instanced zone.
  2. OK, first let me point out, I'm not whining. I enjoy world PvP. I enjoy challenging fights with mechanics and actual strategy. And I don't mind rare drops that require camping. However, combining the three may have been a bit sadistic. Too much of any good thing can become a bad thing. I would like to propose a change. Do not change the spawn rate or Martinique's stats, and keep it in the same location where you may encounter world PvP getting there. The only difference? Create an instanced zone, and a quest to enter said instanced zone that can be done daily. Zero reward for the quest, and able to be reset so people can enter and re-enter the zone to kill the assistant until she spawns, purpose of the quest will be merely to allow people inside said zone. Is there any way this relatively minor change can be implemented?
  3. I like Nadia as well, she's my favorite companion on my shadow. I have her in full 78's since she has proven so useful. Then again, my shadow is my favorite character followed closely by my assassin. The companion I loathe is Theran. WORST. HEALING. COMPANION. EVER. He's as useless as tìts on a bull. Occasionally I bring him out thinking that a healing companion might be nice for a tough fight, but then I go back to using Nadia since Theran sucks so much.
  4. I have multiple suggestions. Among them are the following: #1. 5. They were only around a very short time in the beginning, and were not cheap then. 1.5 million credits then was significantly more difficult to earn then than it is now (unless you exploited the slicing bug the first week or two of the game before it was fixed). Those that were fortunate enough to be able to purchase them while still available have probably sold most of their stock by now. I'd say that at least 95% of the Korrealis vehicles that were purchased were purchased by slicers who exploited the bug the first week or two the game existed, and at least 97% of the total number of vehicles that were purchased before the vendors quit carrying them have already been claimed, either by the original purchaser or the player he / she sold one to later.
  6. Apparently the OP must not have played SWG. The skimpiest of the outfits are very much canon (slave Leia from Jabba's sail barge anyone?) and can only be worn on female characters and companions. Male characters and companions cannot even wear shorts, all robes and most pants go down to the ankles, you can "shorten" several varieties of pants with the covert energy foot armor so they appear to end at the calves, but no shorter. In SWG, if you desired, whether you were male or female, you could wear a thong.
  7. I was unsure where to type this. Is there any way you can change the requirements where the Bloodline and Firaxa are not needed or change them to being rewards for completing all 6 of the level 55 HM FPs thrice for the Bloodline and completing DP, DF, S&V, and TFB each once in SM and both TC and Xeno each once in HM for the Firaxa? Very rarely are people willing to run HM or NiM EC since HM or NiM EV can be completed in a quarter of the time with no challenge whatsoever to gain the same reward. I don't expect Gearhead to be easy to obtain, but a little less sadistic would be awesome. Thanks!
  8. Due to an unexpected rise in price for Exotic Elemental Equalizers, I have been forced to raise my price for 31's and 30's until I can acquire them for cheaper. Once I can obtain them for 25k or less again apiece, I will be lowering the price of my 31's and 30's. All orders made prior to 12:45 PM CST on December 14 will have the former price before the necessary increase honored.
  9. I need these two ingredients for crafting, and for cheaper than they have been on the GTN lately. CoD these directly to N'och (pub side) or Pugna'cious (sith side) and I will buy them as I need them. Mass Manipulation Generators: 185k each Exotic Elemental Equalizers: 21k each Thanks!
  10. I am looking for a guild willing to run me through the following ops for the following items to be reserved for me: Hard Mode Explosive Conflict (Denova): Praxon Firebrand -- 2 million credits Nightmare Mode Explosive Conflict (Denova): Praxon Firaxa - 3 million credits Hard Mode Dread Fortress: Corruptor Blade -- 3 million credits Let me know if you can help me with these. I can run these either pub or sith side. Thanks!

  13. Tempting, I'd have to see how much stuff I could bring with me in a transfer and how quickly I can transfer back.
  14. What the title says. The intention of Story Mode is to teach players the mechanics in a fight that, as long as players were competent, could complete without the need of voice communication. Or so I thought. That was until I saw this catastrophe of a "story mode" boss fight. While I do enjoy a good challenge, I believe that this, for story mode, is overtuned. Hard Mode Golden Fury (Toborro's Courtyard) looks like a cake walk in comparison to this. This "story mode" boss fight is loaded with hard mode and nightmare mode mechanics that have no place in a story mode op. This fight needs a nerf, I'd say AT LEAST a 25% - 30% nerf, maybe as much as a 40%. As it is, very few groups are even willing to attempt it, and those that do often throw in the towel. I've always been the last (or one of the last) to quit because I'd like to complete it, hell, I have millions of credits to blow in repairs if need be. The rest of the op is awesome, don't change it. Bestia and Calphayus are pretty much perfect difficulty. Raptus and Tyrans may be slightly too easy considering Bestia is more difficult than they are. The only problem is Dread Council. All other quests were do-able for casual players in 69 gear without voice communication. Terror from Beyond. Scum and Villainy. Dread Fortress. Why is this one so over the top? Please solicit ideas from the community to make Dread Council a bit more appropriate for story mode. Thanks!
  15. Not sure if you will check this board again, so I sent you an e-mail.
  16. I would like to complete [OPS] The Dying Light tonight on AT LEAST my Jedi shadow, preferably my Sith assassin as well if both can be done. And I am willing to compensate very generously since this is important to me. I am so damned sick and tired of PUGs that either do not even attempt the final boss saying it's too difficult and they're only there for the weekly, or throwing in the towel after two or three wipes. I'd like to finish it, once and for all, and get the quest out of my log without abandoning it. And so, I'd like to be in a group. SM or HM does not matter, I do not desire loot. Only the kill to finish the quest. The only thing I ask of the group is that they know the strategy to defeat the boss and all the mechanics and that they be in AT LEAST 72 (Underworld / Verpine) gear with all pieces augmented with 28 augments (32 main stat / 20 secondary stat) so they can guarantee me the kill. I am paying 150k to the group leader and 75k for all other members of the group if they get me through this on my shadow (yes, I am willing to shell out 600k for an 8 man or 1.2 million for a 16 man just to get this f**king quest done). Please know if you can assist. I will be interested in this until 10 PM CST (11 PM EST / 4 AM GMT / 8 PM PST / 9 PM MST) tonight. Will be mostly on N'och (pub side) or Pugna'cious (sith side). Thanks!
  17. Alright, before anyone says anything, yes, I will admit that I do indeed have a few screws loose. To quote Pink Floyd, "Crazy, toys in the attic I am crazy, truly gone fishing. They must have taken my marbles away!" Anyway, to the beef of the matter. I have been attempting to complete the quest requiring me to defeat the final boss of Dread Palace ever since the week it came out. Yes, I understand part of this is my fault in that I enjoy a more relaxed gameplay experience with minimal drama, although in the past, I've still been able to clear all story mode content and some hard mode with PUGs. That is, until now. I have been running with groups who will complete the weekly for Dread Palace, but will either (a) stop there and not even attempt the Dread Council or (b) throw in the towel and quit after two or three wipes. Frankly, I don't give a damn how many wipes it takes, I just would like to finish this sodding quest at least on my shadow, preferably my assassin as well, as I would like to get my quest log cleared without abandoning said quest. Therefore, I am offering a guild that can pretty much guarantee me a successful downing of the Dread Council 100,000 credits just to take me along for the ride for that one fight. That's each character. If a guild has a Republic and a Sith Empire side, and takes both characters on a run, not only will I pay 200,000, but I'll pay 250,000, the extra 50,000 as a bonus of sorts. No loot desired other than the ultimate commendations, I do not even intend to roll on anything else, the only item that would be appealing would be the Mass Manipulation Generator. I would like to be able to obtain a Dread Forged mainhand and / or Corruptor Blade if at all possible, although I would be perfectly content without them. If anyone would like to allow me to join them for DF HM and reserve the Corruptor Blade (the orange bind-on-legacy one) from Corruptor Zero for me, I will pay 2 million for it, or if they allow me to join them for DP HM and reserve the Dread Forged Mainhand Weapon for me, I will pay 7 million for it. I believe this is a fair price. I am interested in only one of each at this time. Neither my shadow nor my assassin is a 90 pound weakling. Both are very well geared, 78's and 72's, and I know how to play those two advanced classes very well. So both will be an asset to the group, not a liability. I will watch Youtube videos and read Dulfy's strategies in detail as well to learn every mechanic and tactic to prepare myself if anyone is able to allow me to join them. Please let me know if you are able to assist me in this endeavor. Thank you very much.
  18. Actually, I was not complaining about the drops. I’m running these mostly for ultimate commendations. If I was complaining about anything, I was complaining about the lack of fortitude of the other 7 to 15 players who give up after 1 to 3 wipes. I would like to finish the damned quest, not for the drops, but just to complete it in my quest log. And I am not stating that the boss in SM is too challenging because I feel it would be too challenging for myself, I am saying that because it seems to be for other people who are so willing to throw in the towel. I enjoy a good challenge. Not that this is that colossal an achievement, but I have soloed the Alderaan and Makeb GSI heroic 2’s, as well as the Black Hole heroic 4 (which is only level 50, but it’s a heroic 4), and at least the black hole I could have asked for help but I did not because I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could solo the final boss since he has a quarter million HP and a ranged AOE, and I accomplished this on a DPS shadow with Nadia (not a healing companion). And yes, I do plan to move onto HM eventually, but I would like to get used to the SM mechanics before I attempt HM. Indeed. 72’s are not unreasonable for these ops in SM, since virtually everyone raiding it will already be in AT LEAST 69’s. Exactly. HM does not need to be nerfed. And 9 out of the 10 bosses in SM are either fine just the way they are or are slightly too easy. It’s only that one boss fight that is excessively difficult for SM. And I am only saying that because other people (not me) are so quick to throw in the towel after 1, 2, or 3 wipes. I would be willing to pursue the final boss as-is if others were willing to, but most are not. I cannot solo the final boss. And what I am annoyed with is the fact other players do not see the incentive to continue past the weekly since they feel the final boss is too difficult for them and not worth their time, and as a result, I’ve still not been able to complete the quest. Actually, while I’ve not personally tested it, I can see how Jedi knights and Sith warriors can get a mainhand hilt. They buy an offhand on a sentinel or marauder. They need to, while they have a mainhand equipped, transfer the hilt into a Gree bind on legacy single bladed saber, then mail said saber to another character. The weapon will then be either main OR off hand. As I stated, I’ve not personally tested this with 78’s, but I did accidentally discover this with 72’s.
  19. I have no need for underworld gear, I'm in 72's already, and the tier bonus for shadows and assassins is almost as useless as **** on a bull, certainly not worth the hassle in obtaining. And I could do without a 78 mainhand, if the armoring in the focii that shadows and assassins use as offhand weapons could be replaced with a hilt instead. Then I could buy a willpower based Oriconian focus on my sentinel, remove it, insert it into a Gree single-bladed lightsaber, mail it, then remove it from the single-bladed lightsaber and insert in a double-bladed.
  20. Perhaps I'm just bad luck then, lmao. I will continue attempting it, I am confident once I am in an excellent group that understands all mechanics and the strategy for defeating the bosses that I will eventually finish the quest. It's only a matter of time. As for loot, I would think all 10 boss fights in SM should drop Verpine (72's) and the Dread Council (final boss fight) in Dread Palace in SM should drop 1 kell dragon mainhand (75') in 8 man, 2 or 3 in 16 man. The last two bosses in each one do drop one piece of Underworld tier bonus gear each in 8 man, and 2 or 3 in 16 man, as well as a few verpine pieces, but most bosses only drop 69's and still the last two bosses of each drop some 69's. As I stated, virtually all players running DF and DP are already in at least 69's and many 72's, and if they've been active the past three weeks at least one piece of 78, I actually have six pieces of 78's on my shadow, although I will admit I also run ops on my assassin and guardian and mail gear components back and forth through bind on legacy gear. And before the patch that released Oricon, I had two full sets of 72 willpower gear, one permanently on my shadow, and one I mailed back and forth between my assassin, guardian's Kira, and sentinel's Kira. For Christ's sake, 69's drop in HM flashpoints, SM TC, SM TFB, and SM S&V! And HM TC, which is much easier than SM Dread Council and roughly equal in difficulty to SM Bestia (DP boss 1), SM Calphayrus (DP boss 3), and SM Brontes (DF boss 5), drops 72's. And SM TC is a joke, as long as people are not complete morons and get the hell out of the trench during the five seconds or so after the siren starts, it's a guaranteed success with a group in at least 63 (hazmat / dread guard level 50) or 66 (purple crafted level 53) gear. And I can speak with authority on that. My shadow, assassin, and guardian all sport "the Furious" title, and I defeated SM TC in a group on my sentinel when he was only level 53 or 54 and in 61's (black hole / campaign).
  21. Perhaps the fact I prefer a more laid-back gameplay style is my undoing. My favorite two classes are Jedi shadow and Sith assassin, and those are my best geared characters as a result. I enjoy being able to complete quests faster by being able to stealth past MOBs rather than fighting every single one, and when I run ops, I usually pug them, some will be mostly from one guild (there are four guilds I frequently run with), but sometimes they will be true pugs that truly are random. Honestly, I prefer not to commit to a certain time every week and obligate myself to that specific day and time every week, and even if I did, the top raiding guilds avoid having DPS shadows and assassins in their core group anyway in lieu of sentinels or ranged DPS classes. I have still not completed that final quest in the Oricon quest chain that requires you to kill the last boss of Dread Palace. Every week, we've only gotten to Raptus. Personally, I would like to continue as long as it takes since I would like to complete the quest, but the other people do not possess the fortitude that I do. They either opt out and not attempting at all by saying "it's too difficult" and "it's not worth 4 ultimate comms", or if we do attempt it,, most people are willing to throw in the towel after the second or third wipe, and some after only one! And no, I do not think that the mainhand should only be obtainable from being lucky enough to win the dice roll when it's looted. Tier bonus pieces yes, but not mainhands.
  22. I would like to get others' thoughts on this as well. I am suggesting balancing out Story Mode Dread Palace. Buffing two boss fights and nerfing one. Tyrans (fight 2) and Raptus (fight 4) I feel could be increased in difficulty by 10% - 15%. It really seems bizarre that the second and fourth bosses are significantly easier than the first boss, almost to the point of being very little or no challenge in comparison. The Dread Council, on the other hand, is absolute chaos. Much too confusing and difficult for a story mode boss fight. The fight is so inappropriately complex for a story mode fight that very few people actually wish to seriously attempt it, either dropping out directly after defeating Raptus to complete the weekly, or if they do continue, becoming so frustrated after a few wipes they throw up their hands. I would say a decrease in difficulty of 20% - 25% should be sufficient for story mode. Maybe make an intermediate mode that drops 72 or 75 gear, and have the current "story mode" Dread Council fight as is a part of said intermediate mode. It really does not make much sense for story mode to only drop 69's and hard mode drop 78's. Not only is it a huge gap in gear difference between the two, but people that attempt story mode are already in AT LEAST 69's if not 72's by the time they are running it, so the 69 loot is essentially vendor trash. Also, would it be too much to ask for a 78's mainhand weapon to be added to the ultimate comms vendor? A mainhand weapon is the ONLY slot you cannot purchase new Oriconian gear with commendations. Thank you.
  23. I was curious if anyone on the server crafted: Underworld Stalker's Device (earpiece) - need 2 Underworld Stalker's MK-X Package (implant ) - need 6 Underworld Relic of Dark Radiance - not sure how many I need at this point, at least 1 though Thanks!
  24. Greetings! I am needing the +10 to all stats datacron on the fleet for my Sith assassin, and the +10 endurance datacron on Makeb for AT LEAST my Jedi shadow. I am seeking sage pulls for each for a fast and easy acquisition. I am willing to pay 200k for the +10 to all stats and 500k for the +10 endurance for whatever group / guild can set these up. Message me in game. N'och is my shadow, Pugna'cious my assassin. Thanks!
