  1. I think the word "noob" ruined your otherwise cool post.
  2. The real haters leave to play something else. The ones that stick around have genuine concerns.
  3. You're setting yourself up for a fall if you think Guild Wars 2 is going to be the perfect game. No mmorpg starts perfect, ever. Plenty of people said the same thing in regards to SWTOR coming out and look at it now. The worst thing you can do is put all your eggs in one basket. GW2 "might" be a great game, but it's not out yet.
  4. Just have the elite drop the crate or a key to it, then problem solved. It could be bound or one time use as well.
  5. They could always patch the different region servers at different times so it doesn't cut into any prime playing times. Just a thought.
  6. I'm sure there's plenty of legitimate players who stay up for 48 hours and don't miss a beat. They must be really dedicated >.>
  7. Most of my characters are republic side, so I've had a chance to test them first before making some empire side comparisons. Empire does seem to have more polished things than republic. It even gets a cutscene on the Black Talon where you board the other ship. In the Esseles you just appear on the other ship. As for skills, a 30 sec oversight is a pretty big thing.
  8. Makes me wonder how many of their employees actually have played mmorpgs. Most intelligent gamers know just what people are going to take advantage of if it's not regulated in some way. This only takes one person to point out, but how many overlooked it in its creation?
  9. There really should be a guardian, like some holocrons have.
  10. Some people just believe they have a right to exploit a game for its flaws or mechanics. It's up to the devs to place boundaries so that even the dumbest things can't be taken advantage of, because someone somewhere will find it and use it. PVP in any game is a good example, as well as gold farming. There's just a lot of people that don't feel they have to work for what they get and they don't care who they hurt to get it. Because to them, exploiting is just part of the game. They don't bother with semantics or ethics.
  11. You would think that with all the employees they have, they might have foreseen this problem. Now it only takes one of them to read this thread. Lets see if that happens.
  12. I wouldn't mind an option to add more hotbars to the middle. I just have so many skills and I like being able to set them up a certain way.
  13. If anything looked half as good as the social gear you can get from Coruscant, I might stick with it. Minus the horrible hat of course.
  14. What types of tickets have you had to send in game and which have been responded to? (Without giving names or anything to break the forum policy.) So far the only issue I've had to face is the same PVP AFKer day after day who's been reported by dozens of others. My ticket is still open. I know a guildmate has been stuck in the docking bay of the Republic Fleet Station for 3 days and isn't able to use the elevator to leave.
  15. Bump a million times. I play on the same server and the Dev's have completely ignored the issue about AFKers in PVP. I've had to play my Imperial side just so I wouldnt have to deal with it, plus I know all the hiding spots said person uses.
  16. But they added more crafting stations. Sometimes I'm too lazy to ctrl+right click.
  17. I just think there should be more incentive to using the more unconventional weapons available to your class already. Just as an example, have a weighted weapon give a chance to proc a knockback or stun, while saber weapons could have a higher crit chance. Or even while sabers and blasters are the most popular, having something different that doesn't suck is a nice change.
  18. I didn't expect much from the game. I never once bought into all the hype, then I played it. The game is ok, but it's not much we haven't seen before, and sadly it hasn't done a lot of that right. For all the improvements they've been adding, how come they keep screwing up on all the basics? They need to realize polishing up what they already have is a priority. It's nice to have tons of features, but will they all work? I'd rather have a few I can trust, especially the mail system. If they keep building things on a faulty foundation like some huge intergalactic Jenga game, it's just going to fall over eventually. Fix what you have, make it good then move on to the next thing. Stop giving us more things to complain about.
  19. I didn't think AA could help fps since it takes more resources, but if you say so it might be worth a shot.
  20. In their defense, they did add some new item mod stations. Sure they're useless and nobody will use them, but it's progress right?
  21. Maybe Bioware should just get one of those Free forums elsewhere, a lot of them seem much better organized. And they have a working search feature.
  22. At least they responded to this issue. There's plenty of others they seem to just ignore.
  23. lol I notice that's where I end up when I get kicked from a game waiting to be let back into the zone. Maybe not everyone is leaving on purpose.
