This again, I guess this will come up until the game makes a mechanic to deal with it. If you roll need for companion use when a group member needs for their character, you are a waste of dna. Stop being greedy and egocentric and try being a member of a community. (in general, not directed to any particular person)

There are many of us pure light side Siths running around, its not really unique. Lots of players don't want to be evil, they just don't want to play boring Jedi with boring spell graphics and boring armors in the boring Republic, but we are not evil, and if you say we are we will eviscerate you and paint your ship with your blood...er, I digress, we are not evil.

Lower Guk corpse runs.../shiver. I played everquest since beta and still have an open account to mess with on occassion. But even now its been made easy with corpse summoners and portals. But the OPs point is valid, this instant gratification generation has dumbed down the genre too much and cry and whine if they have any obsticles.

Leveling was not always a solo activity. That came along with Warcraft. Every other game before that required groups to level and progress. Those games developed communities. I don't think it is so bad here though as I can normally find a group if I want one, on Empire side that is. But yes, people need to find guilds and take the initiative as groups don't fall in your lap when you log on.

Our server population is almost always full. The lowest population I have ever seen on it is Standard. But there is a vast disparity between Empire and Republic players here. On Empire side its almost always a madhouse of little Lords and Darths running around while on the Republic side the Jedi have no problem meditating with the quiet serenity of empty zones. I attribute that to absolutely boring spell effects and boring gear for Jedi:p

Well I feel fortunate that I came from the original everquest series (since beta) and continue to play with the same group of people, so being sociable and forming groups for content is rather inherent at this point. All I can ever suggest in this scenario is to find a guild of like minded people and get to know them as you do things with them, don't just do content without getting to know each other. Warcraft introduced a crapfest game design where people want instant gratification, use dungeon finder, roll need on everything and get out. Pure egocentric gaming. It will take game mechanics to break people of that so in the meantime, again, do guild groups and get to know them.

Your thread states that tank companions are useless, not that a particular tank companion is useless. Having never used that particular tank I couldn't say.

Exactly. I have made epic lvl 50 armor for both Khem Val and my husbands Jugger, the player tank has so much better stats while using the same armor which is as it should be. But by putting epic gear on khem Val he can easily tank any solo content without breaking a sweat, which keeps him happy so he has less a desire to eat me, win win. Companion gear makes a huge difference.

I read it. I think it is silly that PvP gear is suitable for PVE as well. They should have different stats completely so that for PVE people need to actually do flashpoints, crafting, etc. The economy is already ruined by the fact that commendation vendors mostly make crafters redundant. Shame as I love crafting.

This is the most anticipated thing for me. I am an altoholic and can't wait to see what new things exist with legacy levels for my future younglings.

Yep, simple solutions for simple problems. There are other areas which require their attention, this is such a minor issue.

I am 50 and far from bored. I tried WoW once and hated it and just laugh at people who refer to it as 'how MMOs are supposed to be played', considering that it is pure candy coated crap. I have tried and played almost every MMO since their inception and WoW is definately the worst. If you find yourself without something to do at 50 than you lack imagination or just need storylines to direct you. The one thing I would suggest is a good guild or group of friends to play with, it makes all the difference.

We installed an SSD in my computer this week which cut my load times in half. I just need more memory now. My husbands computer hardly takes any time to load with his SSD and alot of memory.

I hope they never allow changing your AC. You make choices and you live with them. If you regret them make another character. It would only lead to people rolling need on everything incase they change their AC. It is bad enough with people rolling need on items for companions. That notwithstanding, I dont want to join a group as a healer and have to heal some dork tank who just changed his AC and has no experience with the class.

I play as empire mostly because my husband and our friends chose too, but I tried to level an alt as a jedi consular and must say the spell effects are so boringly dull compared to my inquisitor. The armor as well is so drab. It is just depressing. So I decided to level another sorceress instead, a dps one while my main is a healer. If they changed the spell effects and perhaps added a new republic only race that is appealing perhaps more people would play as republic. It is clear that the empire is the favorite child of the art department.
