  1. I agree, I like the laugh. I don't want to see it go away because I think it fits the M.O. of a scoundrel perfectly.
  2. I have a question for those advocating a progression of stats on the gear. When they come out with new gear with higher stats both you and the competition will acquire it. The end results is there is no meaningful change in the battles. The fight will be exactly the same as it was before the gear came out. The only difference is that the numbers on your character sheet increased by a few digits, but there is no actual gain because the competition's characters sheet increased by the exact same number of digits. So my question is how do you see that as progression? Also, is it simply seeing the numbers on your character sheet going up that gives you the satisfaction that you're looking for?
  3. most over-used phrase in internet history *slap in the face*
  4. Seem to me that pride should come from winning because you were smarter or more skillful, not because you were wearing an advantage in gear and won. When you win because you're supposed to win, how is that fun? Not trying to pick on you in particular, I just don't understand how having BM gear alone can be so fulfilling to people to get them so upset by these changes. In my opinion acquiring the gear is not anywhere as meaningful an achievement as overcoming the competition when the outcome isn't impacted so extensively by gear. It's not like grinding the gear is a difficult thing to do, I mean there are lots of battlemasters already only 2 months into the game. It's not really that exclusive a club.
  5. Space combat needs to be expanded in my opinion, but that doesn't mean they can't leave the current missions the way they are and just add other missions that offer more freedom. I'd love to have some open space pvp zones where we would have more control over flying how and where we want to. Along with that having ability to earn ship upgrades through looting npc ships or pvp rewards or best of all some type of RE system would give people room to develop their ship and improve. I don't think it has too be too complicated, but I would like to see more freedom and more choices in the type of space combat, the types of ships and ship equipment that is available in the game. I don't feel it should be a requirement to participate, but having the option would be great. The more depth the better, but I'd take anything I could get to improve space combat, as it would add to the variety of things to do in game immensely.
  6. Hey all, I played on Eclipse for about 7 years. Started in <GUN> and ended up in <LOK> after the NGE. Toons were Jare, Switters & Kudra. I've got toons on 3 different servers in SWTOR to try and stay in touch with old friends from SWG. I'm on Vulkar's highway with Jarenn, Port Nowhere with Switters & & Jung Ma with Jare.
