  1. premades would cry if u did this they'd have nobody to steamroll all the time

ps it's 4 not 6, although there is an exploit they can do to get more

If they're so good they should be glad to prove it against other groups, or RANDOMS. We should have an option not to be stuck with them.

  2. I find the idea of finding six plus people to sign up for group WZ que to be extremely lame, and also boring. There is always some douche on the keyboard whining, trying to run the same plays over and over, it is retarded. They like it that's fine. Other players should have an option not to have to play with group que in WZ.

  4. Id be waiting until i was 50 in some decent gear before i started making comparisons between classes. Melee is always more difficult in MMO's.. there are reasons that go beyond buff and nerf for that, they are also the most rewarding when played well and with good team work. This time around i wanted to play a ranged DPS because i didnt want the stress of melee. If you really dont like having to charge into certain death playing a tank is not for you.

A well armored tank should take more damage. Juggernaut is more like a Warden from Lotro: not taking enough damage or doing enough to offset the ease with which dps classes slash through them. The difference in damage dealt between a warrior and a jugg is clearly apparent. The difference in resistance is negligable.

  5. Its because everyone's faith is more or less rattled since the devs said they would fix ilum, and now it is more or less a broken mess. Peoples faith in the knowledge that the devs will actually make something that works is what is really in check it seems.

Ilum doesn't suck because of PVP - Ilum sucks because of the story. The story sucks because nobody can stomach the light side quests without barfing. The factions aren't balanced because the Republic storylines are an embarrassment. So back at'cha, i.e., PVP'ers make the point that PVE players need them if they want the game to continue; ironically the reason the PVP factions are so imbalanced has to do with a writing problem on the PVE side.

I would guess PVP'ers account for about half of the Republic faction's population. Them and wussies are the only ones who could stand it. I love smashing the republic so I don't care about the imbalance, and I love PVP actually, quite a bit.

  6. Love us or hate us, PvPers are a massive chunk of the gaming population on MMOs now. You wants MOAR PvE content being developed? Then you needs MOAR PvP subscriber moneys less PvPers = less PvE content because yours is WAY more expensive to produce. Storylines, voice actors, animations out the wazoooo ... ours? A map with one or two points and a timer LAWL Who gets the short end of the poop stick when we leave?

How can you plan PVP environments on a large scale before you get to see what it is players like to do? The players feedback is what developers make those decisions on - do you doubt there are numerous PVP instances in development at the moment? I hear there are more Huttball stages in development, which I like quite a lot. Three PVP instances and Ilum may be limited.

Honestly if you're in development or just launched and you want the PVP to be interesting and balanced, I would think you would want to start small. The PVP stages are dynamic, un-buggy and stable; its a lot better plan than going too far out on a limb and spending the next year trying to fix their mistakes (like MANY other companies).

  7. That's exactly what PvP players are... the vocals, the minority... these guys are ******es and we need to .... them otherwise, someday, we're no longer going to have great games to enjoy.

Let these idiots rule the world and they'd all kill each other within a week. They want the same thing in every game. They're so pleased with WoW let them go back, or play GW2 and they will be bitcching about that too. WoW sucks, its stupid and incredibly generic - so are these whiners.

  8. Tripe like this is exactly why I would never play Republic, and love smashing them - I won't even craft things to sell them. Grow uppppppppppp.

The difference between the Sith and the Reps is very interesting. I notice that people who play light or dark side often don't like each other, and I like that. When I see them in PVP I just want to smash those suckers and their rose colored glasses. PEACE IS A LIE. :csw_shuttle:

  9. The Jedi have nothing to fight for but empty morals, leaving people very unfulfilled. The Republic is the "good side" but its obvious the writers started with no idea of what good really is.

There has to be more to fight for than "because it was the right thing to do." Take the politically correct garbage out of the story, Bioware, and find out what would really motivate people to be on that side. Peace and harmony is not going to do it.

For the Republic to be worth playing there has to be more than stars and sunshine in the story. There is no way, for the daring courageous player, to get into an empty story like this version of the Republic.

Q: Why aren't more people playing as the Republic?

Simple answer: because this is not the Republic. Its a sad, sorry P.C. shadow of the Republic.

And anyway, screw the Republic lol.

  10. I love the Sith and hate the Jedi. I tried a Jedi until level 4 and the stuff they wanted us to do to get light side points made me want to barf.

I assume if I'd have played Republic until level 50 they would have had me saving whales and planting trees and crap.

The light side was actually tolerable in KOTOR, but the light side sucks now. The writers need to figure out how to make a 'good guy' without making it a total *****.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly I don't think there really was a Sith code until this game came out - it was like a philosophy waiting for a people, now it can't be stopped :csw_redsaber:. For me being a Sith is a rejection of this sorry version of the Republic, and there is nothing I like more than smashing a Jedi to bits.
