  1. As the title says, I lucked out and got a full Revan set from that pack this past weekend. If anyone would like it, my buyout price is 18 mil or whatever the lowest GTN posting is; but I will also negotiate other terms if you are interested. My toon's name is Tylla and is on the Pub side.
  2. The idea is simple, during the first Rakghoul event and the Nar Shadaa Scavenger Hunt you had some pretty awesome stuff . However, making future toons there is no way I will be able to re-obtain the titles and unlocks I acquired. So if I want to re-roll a toon and use that as my main I will lose: From the Rakghoul Event: -Containment Officer title -Pale rakling -Crimson rakling It would also be nice if we see Black-Green's get added to the collections panel as well. From the Scavenger Hunt: -SIS Freelancer title -Hyrotii Scrapper Not to mention that there are other unlocks from the Nar Shadaa event as well such as: -Capable Sentient title -Imperial Loyalist title All the above items are vanity I know, but people worked hard for these and not having those be legacy-wide or in collections is irritating. If we are going to have another opportunity to unlock these the disregard my post, but it doesn't look like we will. People worked hard for these and it would be nice if the unlocks that people worked for would be legacy bound.
  3. Rule #15 If your tank gives you guard, flame them for not realizing who the real tank is. Never dump aggro, dumping aggro is for quitters. Remember, you're the tank, and the healers need to be able to respond accordingly.
  4. More or less what I was saying, free up the name, if it's not taken when you get back, then it still belongs to you.
  5. Yeah, but you can hit level 10 in 2 hours if you're moving slow. And quite a few quit by that point.
  6. Then how about logging into the forums within 3 months? That doesn't seem hard and even those deployed have some access to the outside world. And I do agree with the idea of more for preferred. Maybe 6 months?
  7. So, in any MMO, this eventually becomes a problem, especially in F2P games. It has become remarkably difficult to make a name even close to an actual first name these days. My proposal is that players on F2P have their name put back into the pool after a few months of inactivity, my suggestion is 3 months. This gives subscribers a buffer zone meaning their name will last until their sub runs out, then the 3 months starts. Too many people come into this game because it's F2P, make a few toons, get them to level 20 and quit. Then suddenly those names are no longer available, this is a problem especially on the smaller server list. Just to re-iterate, my proposal is 3 months of inactivity, then the name gets put back into the pool as though a server transfer occurred, if they come back and their name isn't take, then it will just be re-granted to the toon. This is more than a reasonable amount of time and will help alleviate the frustration of finding a name in a sea of unavailable names when they're taken by people who play for a few hours and decide this game is not for them.
  8. It's funny bc I had 30 of them at one point and still had 5 unused in February and they're all expired. They've been expired since February.
  9. Rather than the comments above, I'll post a few links for you to check out. Most of the progression threads on the forums are world ranked not just on a per server basis. This link will take you to a list of some of the high-level 16-man progression guilds for both sides. I couldn't find a nice formal list for 8-man guilds (but I'm also lazy). http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=604550 This is a spreadsheet with World Progression for NiM EC 16-man. (Many of which are from POT5) http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=553172 This is one for NiM EC 8-man http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=553173
  10. Of course, I'll keep an eye on it and do that. It just seems foolish that you HAVE to do that.
  11. Actually a bit concerning too... Because that would mean that EVEN IF they leave the vendors around for a week after the event, unless you pushed past the cap enough, you couldn't get them even after a thrid week.
  12. Thanks, I was going by the intial math that some of the others thought when we just started. I'll update it.
  13. Good to know, thank you for confirming, although it would be nice if people didn't have to do such a workaround for rep.
  14. Toon name: Tylla Republic Dread Guard Relic of Boundless Ages Dread Guard Relic of Dark Radiance
  15. Yeah, but they are also hyping up the "recurring event" theme. Yes, the vendors stayed for a while on the other events, but that was only with a community outcry. There is no guarantee that it will be the same this time because of the "recurring event" theme that they keep promoting.
  16. But will it be the same items? It may come up later with a different set of weapons. Yes, I want the weapons, but if the vendors don't stay around for a while, it's mathematically impossible until the next time, and who knows if it will be the same set of weapons.
  17. I sure hope this is the case. I know it needed some customer persuasion to keep the vendors around last time. It would be nice if we could get a dev confirmation that the vendors will stay for a while. If they don't this would show a severe lack of planning.
  18. True, but even those events had a nice supply of items to walk away with. As of right now, you can walk away with the 3 slightly recolored armor sets and the pets.
  19. Yes, you can use the items solely for the reputation after, but you WILL NOT be able to buy the weapons in the two weeks.
  20. What 3rd week? The event ends in 2 weeks and comes back "at a later date" as a recurring event, which if anyone has any idea the specifics of that, please go right ahead. I just think it's dumb that the taple of this patch won't even let you get most of the stuff advertised during the first time it's here.
  21. Well aware that it is legacy bound, that doesn't answer the question. You can ONLY get 12k per week and you need to be champion level to get the weapons. Keep in mind that amount is on LEGACY according to what the devs have said.
  22. A few of my guildies have done the math on reputation. The weekly cap is 12,000. The world event lasts two weeks and you need to be champion level to get weapons. So what's the problem? PREVIOUS MATH REMOVED, SEE UPDATED MATH BELOW. Nobody will be able to farm enough rep to get the weapons during this event unless there is something that gives you rep past the cap. Now, I have my issues with this event such as forcing you to PvP to get enough rep if you don't have a ton of alts, but I digress. According to the math, there is no way to do it. If anyone knows anything that would enlighten me, I would appreciate it. EDIT: Some updated math.
  23. Okay, so I saw a bunch of legacy changes, that's cool I guess. How about addressing some of the major issues that current subsciberes are having. it's cool that you want to promote the game to a whole new range of customers, but the devs are shooting this game in the foot foot by not addressing problems that CURRENT, PAYING SUBCRIBERS are having. Am I saying I'm leaving? No. I want this game to be successful, but by having endgame content problems, the hardcore player base is getting frustrated. What needs to happen? 1. FIX OPERATIONS LAG - This is not a clientside issue. There have been many times during a HM EC that we've asked the many people in Denova if they are lagging horribly as well, the answer is always a yes. It shouldn't be that we can't raid at times because there will be too much lag. As a matter of fact, we quit after 3 wipes this past Monday due to server lag that was between 3 - 7 seconds, and multiple button presses before an ability would even activate. This is a HUGE ISSUE among the player-base right now and needs to be addressed. 2. TEST THE PATCHES - Colonel Vorgath was the latest example. I know it's being addressed at this very moment, but despite the turnaround on the problem, it's an inconvenience for people who do endgame PvE content. We have Tuesday's as one of our raid nights, but knowing that we won't be able to get past Vorgath due to a patch problem is pretty frustrating. Is it being fixed right now? Yes. Is this the first time this has happened? No. 3. FIX REWARDS - Another problem that has appeared as of late. I ran a SM EV for some Black Hole comms with a group only to find out that none of us got them. We even had the nice notification saying that we will recieve them upon completion. Did we ACTUALLY GET THEM? No, we did not. Once again, this isssue has been addressed by a dev, still frustrating. Once again. Is it being fixed right now? Yes. Is this the first time this has happened? No. Keep in mind this is all going on in-game at this moment in time. What happens as a result? Well until a hotfix comes out, we can't do anything in EC past Vorgath, we can't get BH comms from group finder for operations, and EVEN WHEN THOSE ARE FIXED. We still have to face the most frustrating enemy this game has to offer.... Operations lag! Please Bioware, don't alienate your current players by spending your time getting ready for F2P. We are paying subcribers who want this game to succeed, but to do that problems need to be fixed. Do I expect a glitch-free game every patch? No, it's an MMO, relaistically there will always be something. But the large bugs like this are too frequent.
  24. Well, on Prophecy of the Five, - Augs are selling for 150-200k EACH. - MK-6 augment kits are selling for 125k EACH. Give me a good reason why I shouldn't switch crew skills so I can cash in. I have a guildie selling both like hotcakes and making serious credits. As an artifice, making crit lightsabers and crit campaign relics (when I get to that point) , and level 26 enhancements (when I get to that point) were the ONLY way to make credits. Now level 26 enhancements are all we have left. Now we have fresh 50's in our guild making bank with little effort and now the only way for me to make money is the hope that I R.E. a piece of high-end, endgame campaign/black hole gear and it's corresponding enhancements.
