  2. When I start having issues with PVE on a planet that means a couple of things. I have not repaired lately which will cause your stats to go down, you need to upgrade your gear or you are under level for the area. You didn't specify what level or class in your opener. I have leveled 4 Imp tunes over level 20 and one to 50 and there is not one class quest where I needed help. Yes some were pretty tough and sometimes I would die but call the droid and give it a 2nd go. I seemed to do better when I have a chance to setup for the battle instead of being tossed in the middle of it. I helped Repub today do his class mission on Tatooine and it was hard for the both of us. We wiped once and I died the 2nd time but he lived and completed it. The storyline missions for the classes are some of the best I have seen in any game. In short you are doing something wrong. Yes the elites are tough. Gear up. Stun, knockback and use med packs. You need to understand what your companions skills are. If you like to immobilize a couple of the mobs then make sure your companions AOE skills are turned off. If you have leveled a bunch make sure that his or her newer skills are actually turned on. Don't quit ask in game for some help. Join a guild and have fun!
  3. I was in two tonight where the attacker, Imp planted the bomb very quickly and then it went off long before it should have. I then died and spawned back in the starting room where I was unable to leave and was kicked.... 2nd one went fine except for one opposing player who could stealth never left stealth and ran around for a long time and I don't think he took any damage while stealthed. Both issues reported.

    Speed hacks

    I was curious if anyone else had noticed some toons running around all the time at a rate about 2 to 3 times faster than everyone else? Do we already have speed haxors in the game?

    You all are forgetting the best part of SWTOR at Ilum and you are the Ops Leader............. Companion spam! What a joy to attempt to fight through all that bs. Test server? What are they testing?
  6. So If I were to jump over the Huttball line I would not get credit for the score? Hmmmm. Huttball is awful but I guess when it is the only pvp you have what can you do but play it. Hi let me boot you in the acid. Hi let me pull you into the fire. Hi let me pull you into my spawn point that was put there to stop the other team from spawn camping. This is an exploit. Too bad BW doesn't have the integrity to admit it and fix it. I really like this game but many of the decisions made lately have me thinking this game will be done and gone very soon. Just another reason to remove most of the stupid crowd control skills. A basic knock back is fine.

    Running away is a joke especially with the terrible death penalty here. Do you even have a repair bill in PVP death?
  8. The Republic side is so freaking goody goody it makes me puke. You can't really go down the evil side as a Republic players as your companions will hate you. if you are not doing crafting then it won't matter. Even when you are bad you get lectured in your missions lines...... The Empire side of the game is far more polished than the Republic. Warhammer was really fun in the first couple of tiers. That was before all the classes had all the CC and OP skills. Without balance between the sides the game will fail from a pvp standpoint. Not that the pvp we have now is all that great.
  9. I play Empire and Republic. I went to Ilum last night on my Empire toon. There were zero Republic players in the zone and about 30 Empire players riding around in circles picking up the armaments. I got two or three in about an hour. The Empire zerg is so bad that the Republic won't even bother with Ilum, why would they? Offering pvp rewards for driving your speeder around for hours is bad game design. What is the real point of Ilum? The objectives really mean nothing. There is no winner or loser. It is just a place where the side with the most players will zerg the other side into the ground. I remember playing Arathi Basin and that was a blast. It was balanced player wise and there were objectives to hold similar to Voidstar but it required some tactics and the objectives were further apart to eliminate the zerg. The night after the patch We had 30 to 50 and they had 10. I doubt they got more than 3 kills. The Republic players are all dead before most of us could even get to them and get a shot off. Fun? I guess so if you are into ganking, which a great majority are although they won't admit it. The PVP in SWTOR is very disappointing. Huttball is not fun with all the stupid pulls and pushes. Pulls are great when you get to to do them. They really stink when you have absolutely no counter for them. Warhammer was coined stunhammer for a time as it was a joke. The first to get the stun off won and some classes could stack them up. Much like the discussion of the OP. To be stunned and killed in 3 seconds is no fun for the one being killed and takes little skill from the one doing the killing.
  10. This is a bug. There is no green marker. I got killed when I attacked an elite cleaning out the cave and failed to see three other mobs....whoops. I said heck I will just respawn at the nearest base and continue on.....wrong! They need to fix this.
