Interesting just logged in and I had a mail from support with my missing pike though my ticket remains open.

Yep still haven't heard back either. Seems like a crazy service level if a week+ and no response. This coming from a support manager with a support group with a minimum 80% in 60 minutes SLA.

I feel there are many of us in this same boat. Having heard back on my ticket yet either. I don't know how many people this affected maybe they need to look into an overall fix vs one off.

I tend to have terrible luck with crates. I have come away with 0 platinum items it a lot of hypercrates. It took 2 hypercrates to get the pike this time. That said I have opened at least 8 hypercrates worth to get the vented lightsaber and the closest I got was getting the stronghold decoration for it so...

As with anything selling at the right time is key. Notice when the other sales expire and list your goods at the higher price so they stay up when the others are no longer there. People will buy unless of course there are 1000 copies of the same thing then just like in real life no one wants it and won't buy. I have sold many many crates on the GTN.

This same issue happened to me had the pike in inventory waiting for the bind timer to run out. Now it is gone. I also have the Zealot armor in my inventory. Re-equipped it and still it is locked in collections. I submitted a ticket of course.

What is the point of leveling? So you can take on the next tier of content up not so you can face roll the content 3 tiers back.

You can still help your friend out on Taris and it will still be easy for you except now he will actually get some XP for it and so will you if you need it. Not sure why that is a bad thing.

Just because you don't won't to complete this doesn't suddenly mean it isn't content. I don't PVP but I still consider PVP maps and gear content. They are giving an alternate way to gear and level by doing this so it works for others.

The max level you can do the mission at is the level at which XP still applies.

From what they stated doing a heroic on Oricon won't be any different than today. As you scale not to the max of the planet but the max level to the mission and still allow XP. So on Oricon you should still be a lvl 60 or a 58 or so which means nothing should change from today really so invalid excuse. Make Sense!

The whole point of this change is so more players will want to go back and run these so you can hopefully find more groups. How are people overlooking this whole point.

I am still wondering where this thought that every update has to contain content for everything. Why can't there be a PVE expansion like Fallen Empire and then after that they release a PVP update. Why do they have to be together makes no sense to me. More so when you consider the dev team they would have to have for all that new content.

The point is so you WILL go there for the rewards of XP, GEAR, and whatever else it rewards. The XP and gear will match your higher level which makes it worthwhile to do.

Because you can now go back and repeat all heroics and earn XP and gear at your current level. So you can get lvl 58 gear by doing a lvl 18 heroic.

I can't say it would be impossible for games to have true game changing choices but it is unlikely given the amount of work that would have to be done. Every time you had a major choice and branched the game out it would be like building a whole new game. So if your game was designed as 10 hours long for each choice you would have to build another full game. Simple choice works perfectly well if you have the same scene but completely different dialogue/actions that lead to the same place it is still enjoyable. Playing a light jedi vs dark feels like a very different game even though you do end with the same results and it is still an emotionally different story.

I have 20 keybinds that I use everything else is just a manual click. If I didn't have a naga I would be under water with SWTOR. I can't stand using a modifier key to increase keybinds pushing shift+1 for example just doesn't work well for me. Keyboard 1-6 Mouse 1-8 (Naga) A,D,R,F,G,T (Yes I use QWES to move feels more natural)

I have had Windows 10 for several weeks now and haven't had any major issues. It runs very smooth is very stable and every game I have played including SWTOR has worked great. The only issue I haven't figured out is why SWTOR randomly switches to 800x600 every so often but I don't think that is Win 10 related as people have reported this issue back on Win 7 and 8.

Nothing endgame wise is changing so continue doing everything that you were previously. That said one thing you should not do is spend credits or comms on gearing your companions since stats for them won't matter after the expansion. At the moment I am simply leveling all my alts to 60 and stock piling credits for no real reason other than to buy more armor sets off the GTN.
