  1. I play the game 90% of the time exclusively in a duo pair. Ever since the last major patch, 7.1 we are CONSTANTLY having to do phased missions twice because one of us won't get credit for interacting with something that needs to be clicked on. It's happening on EVERY planet, and it's happening in both heroic and non-heroic missions. This is horribly game breaking and makes it tedious to play together; it really needs to be fixed ASAP. Latest Example: While doing the quest "Wrong Savior" (Imperial) on Belsavis, there's a small phase you have to clear through and click on a computer inside. We clear through, I click on the computer (I'm the phase owner) and my wife doesn't get credit for having clicked on it, but it's now not able to be interacted with by her. So, we then have to exit the phase and enter a new phase created by her and clear all that trash all over again just so she can click on the computer. I know this is all about perspective, but I've been duoing this game with her since launch and this is by far the worst bug I can ever remember encountering... It actually drives us to not want to play SWTOR and find another MMO for a while where we won't have to do everything twice. Please fix this ASAP and don't let this be one of those bugs that persists for years without a fix... Abstract Thought: We haven't done extensive testing, but this appears to happen on characters that are Combat Styles that originally belonged to opposite factions. Again, I haven't verified this to be 100% the case, but it might be worth looking into... Combat Styles are still showing the Class Buffs from their original factions (which is weird, since they're supposed to be part of the faction you're playing them in) it's possible some other stuff deeper along is broken and not allowing them to play well cross faction in phases. Not sure, but seems worth checking out.
  2. Can't speak for Bushwhack yet, but Toxic Haze definitely lets me throw it like a grenade up to 30m. I'm trusting the second poster above knows what they're talking about. lol
  3. Imperial Agents should get access to the "Lieutenant" title in Chapter 3.
  4. Nah. Once you use one of those level skip tokens, that vanilla stuff never happened. Everyone's the Alliance Commander and you can pick and choose who that person is... You just pick a voice these days. The game has become about playing the character you want to play, and it's pretty clear there's a ton of people out there role-playing to some degree. Some do it openly, some just establish their own head canon. By your logic, we should never have had the Imperial Soldier uniforms made available at all either, since we can't really play as one. I think it's far less harmful for someone to run around with a "Sergeant" title as an Imperial Agent than to see 50 people running around in Revan's armor. Of course that's just my opinion, but this is something I'm personally willing to pay for... Perhaps you're not. And that's fine. If they provide the title pack; people who want it can buy it. Those who don't because they're just an Agent that happens to fight like a Trooper can still use their Cipher Agent title to their heart's content. More customization isn't a bad thing.
  5. I would like to see a pack of lesser military titles we can purchase... Now that we can make Smugglers and Troopers cross faction, it would be nice to be able to have "Sergeant," "Captain," and "Lieutenant" available. I wouldn't add "Major" or anything above, because that would take away from the real Trooper's unique class titles... But the lesser ones are pretty general military and I would happily pay some Cartel Coins for an original purchase and then legacy unlock in collections. (Alternatively, I would rather see characters get all of the class titles for their combat styles and origin stories when they level up, but I have a feeling that would be a lot more difficult to implement than creating a title pack.) I would also be open to adding alternate military rank titles for everything except "Captain" which I feel should be included for the proper Smuggler title.
  6. Ah, thank you. I looked through my Operative's selected abilities to see if there was something I needed to pick later on, but I didn't think to check passives. Much appreciated!
  7. If I recall correctly, the original reason for not having the Cartel Market companions be able to do Crew Skills was to eliminate the "pay to win" aspect of being able to buy extra companions, when we used to be hard limited to 6 (minus HK and Treek) with the ship droid. Now that KotFE and KotET have come along and we have a bajillion companions, it may also be time to revisit this and just make all of the Cartel Market companions (and H2-WF) into standard companions.
  8. I was about to make another post about this issue tonight... I started actually using H2-WF from the Nathema flashpoint, and that poor droid suffers from this same bug. PLEASE make it so that ALL companions show up in cutscenes. This seems like such an easy fix... Just don't make them disappear. They genuinely feel like lesser companions when I know each time I talk to an NPC, they're going to mystically vanish and I'll be standing there alone. I would rather have buggy instances where the larger companions are standing inside of me sometimes than have them not appear at all... Especially the normal sized ones.
  9. Yeah, I just realized that increasing your Legacy level is a Conquest objective, too. Never realized that because I've been capped since before Conquest was a thing. Please make Infinite Legacy Levels, or whatever the highest number the system can allow is! (XP rates should be the same for all levels beyond 50 though!)
  10. I still think you need to rework these seasons so that as soon as one ends the next one is starting... Like how SMITE and other games do it. No one else does a season and then has a half a year lapse between seasons. Too much downtime and not enough goals for solo players to work toward. Additionally, I think all achievements should be available and you should realistically just start the season back up and allow people to continue progressing it until Season 3 is live.
  11. Yeah, this is seriously terrible that they launched this event again in July without fixing this bug. A lot of players have been making new characters to take advantage of the new Origin/Combat Style mix and match... And now there's a bunch of characters who still can't do this event, despite being given the starter quest and being able to pickup all of the dailies once they arrive on planet.
  12. It should really be listed as soon as you click on the PvP tab... Seems like an oversight, or a bad design decision. It's not intuitive to find at all. Or at the very least, it should be listed by the non-ranked Warzones too.
  13. As I was playing today, I noticed, remembered, and was immediately sad that I haven't been able to increase my Legacy level beyond 50 since 2012-2013 or so. I got to thinking about the old Command system and the new rewards associated with Conquest, etc... And it sparked an idea... Keep the rewards up to level 50 the same, but add an infinite, or as high as the game systems allow, number of Legacy levels for Prestige. You could optionally add a small reward for getting a Legacy level up, like a box of Jawa scraps and 1-2 Cartel Market Certificates and some Tech Fragments... But I think it would be cool if it just kept ticking your Legacy up as you continue to play in the Galaxy... Then players who stick with the game for years could potentially have a Legacy level in the thousands or more. Just a thought. I hate to see the system abandoned.
  14. "Sith Lord" <name> "Jedi Sentinel" <name> "Freight Captain" <name> "Elite Trooper" <name> "Bounty Hunter" <name> "SIS Agent" <name> / "Imperial Agent" <name> I feel that with the new Combat Styles, we should have titles that can be used cross faction to support the combat style we've chosen. A Guardian on the Imperial side would be better fit with "Jedi Sentinel" as a title instead of "Darth"... Conversely, a Juggernaut on the Republic side would be better fit as a "Sith Lord". Personally, I would like to see the class titles awarded be based on the combat style(s) you've selected, regardless of faction... But at the very least, a faction appropriate option should be available.
  15. Respectfully, unless Galactic Season 3 is immediately ready to launch, I think you should extend Galactic Season 2. In my humble opinion, these seasons should end when the next one starts, similar to how SMITE and other games do it... Then there's always something to work toward when you play. GS2 rep is only tied to some titles, so I don't see the sense in removing the drops. Even after the season is over, I wouldn't mind the plans having a drop rate similar to 5-10% of what they used to be off of random mobs. It will be annoying to have a newer reputation that literally cannot be completed anymore.
  16. Personally, I would like more weapons that fit the original art direction of the game and look like they could have been included in the base game (with more HD textures of course) but without the flashing lights and color crystal lasers projecting from the scopes. While those are cool, I long for the more elegant weapons of a simpler age. More lightsaber hilts that fit the original dimensions and art direction of the game. Double bladed sabers that are small enough to fit on your hip.
  17. I would like either a new ship or a revamp of the existing ships so that once you complete the Fallen Empire stuff you can customize what companions are in your ship and where they stand, from the entire list of companions you have at that point. We have some really cool companions now, but we're stuck with the same handful even after their time in your story is over.
  18. +1 literally take the animations that Qyzen Fess and the other tech users have and utilize and replace the force animations from the Guardian/Juggernaut and Shadow/Assassin and give us a tech tree for each that uses techblades (they're already in the game and this would allow much more expanded use) and generators... And literally copy+paste the skill trees from the respective force users, so we have a 3-way mirroring... No need to design a new class from the ground up. Being able to do all the same stuff without any hint of the force animations and making it look and feel techy would make it seem completely different. (i.e. running and dashing into battle instead of leaping with the force. Might need to pull out a pistol and fire a shot to compensate for things like saber throw though!)
  19. I would be in favor of giving Preferred players some wiggle room, but I don't know if I'd let them get to 100 million without being subscribed. The individual character prices you listed seem okay, but I think the Legacy-wide unlocks need to be more expensive to offset the fact these folks will probably never be subscribers. (I think it needs to be balanced with that in mind, or it won't be profitable for BioWare.) I'd be okay with more along the lines of... Tier 1: 10 million Credits: 200CC per character, or 1000CC per legacy.* Tier 2: 20 million Credits: 300CC per character, or 1500CC per legacy.* (Upgrade from Tier 1: 100CC / 500CC) Tier 3: 35 million Credits: 500CC per character, or 2500CC per legacy.* (Upgrade from Tier 2: 200CC / 1000CC) * Each available for direct purchase... NOT needing to buy the tier before it. Otherwise, the "upgrade" fee should apply if the previous tier is owned. Upgrade fee is always the cost difference between your current tier and the next one. But I think 35 million per character is more than plenty. With the two base character slots, that's 70 million available on the account, and each additional character slot purchase would add to that. I think when you start letting them get numbers like 100 million per character, that's when you make it way too easy for the 3rd party credit sellers.
  20. While I'm not opposed to making the old companions and cosmetics available again, I don't think that should be done as a re-run of the season. People are already pretty angry at the lack of content that Legacy of the Sith had at launch, and if they did a re-run of Galactic Season 1 already (right on the heels of Galactic Season 2 ending...) they would get further negative press for a lack of new content. All of the companions and cosmetics need to be added to the vendor rotations and purchased with the season tokens. In the event Galactic Season 3 (or whatever season in the future) can't be pushed out in a relatively timely manner after the previous season ends, they should do some "low hanging fruit" and take one of the many awesome droid models they have in the game and make it the companion for the season. Imperial astromechs, battle droids, ancient droids, whatever... Do a unique companion season, then a "filler" with a droid companion. (But make these droids show up in cut scenes, unlike the Cartel Market ones.) Droids, in most cases, would just need a copy+paste of some beeping sound dialogue and a few canned text responses. Heck, they could even make larger versions of some of the astromechs they give out for May the 4th and stuff. This should make it relatively easier to crank out Galactic Seasons and to get a lot more droids out there in the populace. Right now, we have more HK droids that you can own than any other type, and those are supposed to be fairly rare. Granted, this is only my own opinion and suggestions, but they really need to have a system like SMITE does, where as soon as one season ends another one starts.
  21. With the introduction of being able to play any class on either faction, for the purpose of immersion I believe the "regen" skills of both mirror classes should be given to each force using class. For example, it's all well and fine to be secretly practicing the dark side on Tython, but when your character needs to take a break and angrily paces back and forth with red fumes emitting from them, or angrily clenches their fists in rage to recover... I think someone would notice. Same thing on Korriban when you're taking a breather and get consumed by light side energy. My suggestion would be to give each force using class their mirror counterpart's regen ability as well, so they have both and can choose which one to use. This is less of a problem with tech users (and outright won't work for them all, due to the vastly different weapon types and animations tied to them) but is fairly significant, in my opinion, for force users.
  22. I periodically check in on this Cartel Market Suggestions area of the forums, just to see what people are asking for. Occasionally, I even make threads and suggestions. I've seen this topic present itself so often (I think the same thread getting bumped) and the developers haven't implemented it yet... It baffles me. I'm pretty convinced they don't even read the suggestions forum. This seems like the lowest of the low hanging fruit with such minimal effort to implement and pure profit to follow. If they literally made 1 dark and 1 light purple skin shades for the Twi'lek and put the bundle on the Cartel Market for 400-500 CC, it would probably take them less than an hour to implement and make them thousands (if not more) dollars from people buying it. This one is literally BioWare leaving easy money on the table. When relatively easy things like this get asked for over and over again, people are willing to pay for them, and they seem to never get added, it just convinces me that the devs don't actively read this forum area. That's probably also why it's buried in the General area instead of being given it's own main link with the other sub-forums.
  23. With the level of customization that comes with mixing and matching Combat Styles, I would like to see ALL "Recuperate" abilities be accessible for their archetypes. For instance, ANY Force user get access to all 4 (Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular) regen abilities... And same with the Tech users. Either put them all in the General tab and let us pick which one to put on our bars, or add them into the Legacy section or make a new category.
