  1. I'm not really sure what the problem is here, if you use all your abilities in a correct rotation, you shouldn't have to worry about Force regen. I used to have a problem with force...then I learned how to use all my abilities, our force regeneration is through the roof if you have the right spec. Assuming you are using Blackout on CD and you use Force Cloak on CD, your Force Regen should be the last of your problems.
  2. I tried out Balance and it was interesting, I didn't play it for too long because I didn't really like the play style of it TBH, I didn't really like the feeling of putting up DoTs, then sitting there with no Force and doing nothing = /. I couldn't disagree with you more, I also net 8+ medals, depending on what I'm doing. Aside from the medals, I'm also able to easily do 2v1s and help out majorly in team fights. If you use your CDs correctly you can be invaluable. We have stuns and interrupts out the wazzu, if you understand that your main role is to stop casters/healers you are the bane of their existence. I can't tell you how many times I've come into a losing fight and turned it around because I took out their healer, granted any class can give a healer a hard time, but I've yet to see another class put the hurting on one like we do.
  3. To get back on topic of the original post... I'm not really sure what the difference is between the two abilities, I understand that theirs will hit first, but ours will still hit. I've seen people say that we're under powered compared to the Assassins because of the Animation of project, that there's a 2 second animation, or some bull like that. Last time I checked, you didn't need to wait for the animation to finish, you just have to wait for the GCD/cast time to finish. At the end of the day, I don't see this making a difference, if anything I think it gives us somewhat of an advantage TBH. Look at it this way - You're up against a healer, you pop all your CDs and you use your strongest project and force breach possible, they're going to hit the healer at roughly the same time, giving the healer more to recover from. Whereas an assassin, hits a healer with the lightning, goes on GCD, the healer can heal through the lightning, then uses their version of force breach. IMO we have the advantage because of that, and in a PvE situation it will literally make no difference....
  4. I know how the rotation works, if you get the perfect situation where you can just DPS the rotation is: Clairvoyant Strike x2 -> Project -> Force Breach -> Clairvoyant Strike x2 -> Project -> Clairvoyant Strike x2 -> Project -> Force Breach. Rinse and repeat, throwing in shadow strike when we get the proc. I understand how to play the role and I can understand that the DPS is stable, but like I said, I feel like most of our damage comes from our force attacks, whereas I feel like it should be an even balance of both physical and force. I understand that it would be hard to pull off, but I personally feel like it's something they should push for. And I get it that if they nerf our force damage just for Infiltration it would nerf the entire class as a whole, but I think they should try and find a way to balance out the two types of damage.
  5. I currently play a level 50 Infiltration Shadow, I love the class, and before I start, let me explain this is just me expressing my opinion, NOT me complaining. I enjoy Infiltration but I'm not really sure I like how the spec works, it seems like the spec is supposed to be more focused on hybrid damage. We have things that increase both our physical damage, and our force damage. But when I play I feel like I depend way to much on my force attacks, Project and Force Breach hit WAY harder than Clairvoyant Strike ever has hit, and both drain force a lot slower than Clairvoyant Strike. I feel like if the entire class revolves more around our Force than actual being a Hybrid class, that Infiltration seems like a weaker spec. Just looking at Balance I feel like it would be a lot better for not just DPS in general, but amazing in PvP. Like I said before, our class seems to revolve around our force attacks, and less around our physical attacks. Balance has a lot of things that would be crazy useful in PvP, such as the freeze and all the healing. At first I felt like the Balance tree was more based around Sages because of how much Force it uses, but as I play the class more and more, I realize we use force just a tiny bit less than Sages. Now, with all that being said I can understand that as Infiltration if our physical attacks did just as much as our current force attacks did, we would be over powered, I personally think that if as Infiltration our force was nerfed and our physical was buffed, we would be more of the hybrid class I think Bioware was trying to make. I would like opinions from people who have played both specs, and from people who have only played one. I just want to know how you guys feel about the specs, and what our class should focus on.
  6. This started randomly today, when I try to right click to use the basic three strike attack I get an error that says "You are not in control". Anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it?
