  1. Conceal ops can no longer top damage meters unless you're playing with really under-geared people. It happens to me sometimes but its pretty rare. Equally geared BHs will top your damage effortlessly.
  2. Its because you're using gear which was phased out of the game. Expertise is the important stat now.
  3. 1. Buy recruit gear. 2. Profit, you're now the most op class in the game.
  4. Works for me. I had some level 36 marauder come up to Jice acting all tough and so on. I told him what was up. There's just too many stupid godmodders out there. Some are even in this thread. If you pick a fight, you ought to be prepared to duel in my opinion.
  5. For pvp I find I have enough of an energy float to drop explosive probe into the spaces as filler instead of RS. *shrug*
  6. Undying rage was the one I was thinking of, but all of those sound pretty nasty.
  7. It's really not that simple. Corrosive dart is a key part of our rotation to keep our dps high, but if you have the dart up, the flashbang will be broken a second after you throw it, which is why the FB can be difficult to use effectively in 1v1 situations, and instead shines in group combat. We're very reliant on dots, but dots negate our FB. You can only get the "root" if you spec into it, which means lowering your dps elsewhere, and after 1.2 we really don't have the luxury of further lowering our dps. Evasion is useful but it lasts four seconds, and thats with the set bonus. How long does that damage reduction thing you guys have last? Feels like ages.

  9. This is absolutley true. But that doesn't mean the operative is a good choice when deciding what class to play, or that the operative doesn't need buffs.
  10. You must have some pretty bad marauders on your server.
  11. Its about as bad as I expected. When you look at the big picture vis a vis marauder buffs, and assassins remaining unchanged, dps operatives are basically good for nothing now. And I mean that literally, insofar as we have no role in which we excel. I can still take people out on my operative, but I'm wasting my ability on this handicapped class and am now in the process of rerolling.
  12. Lol. Was maybe. Conceal has been totally hosed in 1.2. Not saying lethality is the way to go though. Not sure we actually have a pvp spec now. At least not one that I can see yet.
  13. Change the name to escape plan. Remove cooldown reduction to escape. Bravo Bioware... you guys are kings among trolls.
  14. Yep. Meanwhile marauders... I got nailed for 4.7k, in full bm. Don't even know if that was a big hit for him.
  15. Not to be hating, or trying to put you down or anything buddy, but if you're doing crap damage with darkness, you're doing it wrong. I beat my darkness sin gm by like 50k damage usually. Tops. I havn't actually seen anyone complaining about the HS cd nerf. In fact, that nerf I welcome because double HSing was pure cheese and let players of questionable ability do too much burst. Its the many other nerfs which aren't sitting so well. The backstab CD in particular, because it totally hamstrings acid blades efficacy.

  17. Nope. Not unless the sorc is wearing level 45 greens. In all other cases this is a factually inaccurate statement.
  18. Tankspec assassins in dps gear are currently better than operatives by a small margin. After 1.2 it will be a large margin. I know what Im going to be using the legacy system for.
  19. Raid gear for raiders. If you don't have the skill to complete the raids, tough luck. Paying a subscription doesn't entitle you to have the best gear in the game.
  20. Yeah. Heal ops are good at what they do. But if you want to be damage post 1.2 you're going to be fighting an uphill battle.
  21. Celebrus does have a point that people are overstating the case a bit about how operatives are terrible/useless. But thats to be expected because people are angry, and rightfully so.
