  1. That's how the game should be played, but it's definitely not in a person's best interest to play this way.
  2. Some of your argument is wrong. There is no real PvP gear imbalance between Pub and Empire. Some skill imbalances will be created based on the vast more experience Empire gets at Huttball on the Hutball map, yes. However, Pubs will get vastly more experience at Voidstar/Alderaan than Empire. None of this will create PvP gear imbalance. Even if Empire won 65% of the time it doesn't change the amount of champion bags being opened by Pubs from Commendations, dailys, and weeklys by even 1-2% points.

I Hit level 50 in the first area of Belsavis doing all the quests in the game. There is a lot of content for the level ranges up to 50. After 50 not so much, that's a legitimate complaint people have. No, them leveling faster than you doesn't invalidate their complaint. No, they don't have to play alts if they don't want to. Yes, they're entitled to complain about lack of high level content, because other MMOs offer more of it.
  4. No, this is BS. The complaints people have against PvP in this game are legitimate. It has nothing to do with people rushing to 50. Here are all 100% legitimate PvP complaints: World PvP is pointless and unrewarded PvP Servers are pointless since most planets segregate Imps from Pubs RNG Based rewards Too much Hutball for Imperial Players CTD bugs when accepting queues Disparity in Medal rewards for certain archetypes: Healing is not rewarded through badges enough forcing people to do stuff like cast Force Storm to wrack up medals instead of healing teammates. Healing medals being given by Medpacks. I still really love PvP in the game. The queues to pop are short, it has good rewards. I believe most of these can be fixed pretty easily. Warzone PvP is pretty damn good though, the maps are interesting and there are multiple relevant strategies. Some people hate huttball because it relies on a lot of whacky gimmicks, but they do open up a lot of strategy space through those gimmicks. I can understand why some people expecting something like team DM get a bad taste, but it's pretty interesting IMO. World PvP is far from being relevant though and a complete afterthought in this, which is a shame. I don't see anything happening with world PvP for a long time. Maybe they can do something with Ilum to make it relevant.

  6. What people prefer as to crits whether just bigger raw is not relevant at all. That's not a debate, that's just opinion. Which stat provides the greatest numerical return per point is a debate, and can be proven one way or another. I don't think it's even debatable that all healers need enough crit to stay force positive off innervate proc's or they are just going to run out of gas in long fights. Enough crit to stay force positive > * After that it opens up a lot.
  7. From everything I've seen corruption needs between 20-30% crit to stay force positive off innervate crits. After that I don't really know if your so far into crit that it's better to stack surge, or if youre better off going into alacrity. You need the initial crit for the consumption procs, but after that I feel like there are a lot more options. Lightning seems to operate similar to corruption, but madness is actually completely different since they really don't need to crit for their talent abilities.
  8. I don't understand how your heal doesnt break 5k. I can crit 4.2k and I have champ belt and nothing else but tier 22 modded social gear.
  9. Has anyone tried a high surge + expertise build for the 5k heal one? How about 5k damage, anyway to achieve that?
  10. Trying to maximize my PvP medals I get in a round. Sorcerer's have some problems here. I don't see anyway to get the 2.5k single hit dmg medal without taking thundering blast, and I don't see anyway to get the 5k single hit heal medal at all, but it may be possible, as I can can somewhat close. All our damage and heal abilities are channels and not bursty, which makes these very hard to get. Do I just need to get a ton of +Power and +Burst and hope to crit? Does anyone have any tips for these? Also, has anyone gotten the 5kdmg/7.5k single hit or 7.5k healing medals? If so, how?

  12. I've duoed every Heroic 4 with my brother and we just finished up Hoth. None of these require 4 players. We even duoed the Hoth Bonus Series heroic 4's which were level 47 while we were 44/45. All the bosses in these are extremely easy and deal very little damage. The dangerous stuff is groups of 4-6 containing 2-3 elites. You need to avoid those groups unless you have multiple CC effects. You also need to use RANGED DPS companions, NOT melee, the melee ones are just awful for heroic 4's because they consantly stand in fire, get cleaved, etc. Waste of healing. Finally, so what if you cant finish some of these without a group? Youre not entitled to solo the entire game. These serve as entry points into group encounters, group tactics, crowd control, and higher difficulties. Removing them is vastly more detrimental than some people not doing them because they couldnt find a group. They serve as the training wheels for Flashpoints, which then serve as the training for Operations. This natural progression is by design. It's uncomfortable because these challenged need to be done differently than the solo game, but without these entry points instead of being uncomfortable doing heroic 4's, you become completely incapable of doing flashpoints.
  13. This is one of the worst QA's I've ever seen. It's more like a Q no A. Not a single solid answer to any question, nor explanation in detail of anything. Why hold a QA if you cant answer anything? Why are the cards being held so close to the vest? Seriously, I could of been the one answering these questions.
  14. In almost all cases hit is THE most valuable stat until you have 100% to hit. However, it only applies to PVE raiding, so the width of use is limited.
