  1. No it was sincere. If you read my last post about SWTOR having the Rakghoul plague in the media section (which it still is with updates as of 4.23 ). The other rants are legit and before you judge the last line says sorry for the rant... Not a troll here just someone who is not happy with the game. Before I log on tonight I will search the forums or the dev tracker posts (as I have sooo much time in my life to do that) and see if the "Operation: Explosive Conflict" is in fact still on or just an event. The rant was simple. If you advertise something then explain when something starts and when something stops. That's all.
  2. Why should I expect any different from this game of sadness.... You would think that in the media section posted 4.18.2012 that the Rakghoul Plague would maybe have a note at the top saying it was a limited time world event running from start date to end date. People should not have to search a forum, or dev tracker comments <--- I mean really who does that. Note to SWTOR if you put up a schmancy video maybe make a note if its in the game all of the time or just a timed event. I guess I will look up to see if the conflict thing is still on or not too before I go and check that out. Oh well,,, maybe I will run a flashpoint.. but wait ... with a total of 4 to 8 50's on at one time on my server that probably wont happen either. aarrrrrrgh..... Sorry for the rant..
  3. I spent an hour running around Tatooine and went to Wreck of the Stardream and did not get any daily. I asked in General and of course with only 5 people on the planet it took a while to get any answer. I finally whispered a 50 on the republic fleet and they said it was over. There is no mention on the main SWTOR that the event is over if it is. Could some one throw me a bone here? Thanks.
  4. Well said.. If I wan't to use one that is my prerogative. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. If you have a guild great, if you have time to spend looking for a group that's fine too but I don't and many others don't either. Would I run a flashpoint with a guild first? Hell yes. But please don't tell me you met a great tank or healer or dps by pugging. I won't tell someone how to find a group but there should be options on how to find others when needed. People should not have to join a guild if they don't want to. People should be able to run solo if they want to. People should have freedom to enjoy the game when they want and an LFG systems helps that for people with irregular schedules or play styles.
  5. How is entering your name in a hat to say you want to run X flashpoint bad and letting the system match you up with four other people that would like to run the same thing? You sometimes meet new good players, you get to quest or do dailies while the system matches in the back ground, and you don't have to spam the LFG channel or what ever channel for that matter looking for a group. The automatic LFG saved gammers a huge amount of time. Everyone does not have the time it takes to round up groups the old way. It was needed in WOW and I am sorry but large MMO's that have dungeons, flash points, or whatever they want to call them need it to expand the game. I would rather people experience the flash points at the level they are supposed to be done at.
  6. How would making it easy for a player to find a group be a reason to leave a game. When I have two hours to play as I have a job, kids, etc. which means I don't have time to jump my toon around town spamming general chat looking for a group. Leveling a toon after the cross server search opened up the game immensely. Here is a thought.... How about they start with just a realm flashpoint search. Then move towards a cross server flashpoint search.
  7. I have run two flash points so far which is sad. The problem is that no one is on my server usually. It sucks to see new content to realize that I won't ever go in it until they start grouping server populations together or do what Blizzard did with WOW. Make a cross server group search. SWTOR needs to take a lesson from Blizzard and make a cross server flash point search. Server transfers will be something I will take advantage of as there are rarely anyone playing on my server. But the reason I want to switch is to run flash points. Pre dungeon search in WOW a player did not get to run many level specific dungeons unless they were in a guild, spammed trade to get one together, or they got a run through from a friend. After the installation of the cross server dungeon match system, leveling a toon was totally different. You were then able to run all of the content (dungeons) as you leveled up. That totally opened up the game. Guilds are all fine and dandy but you can not always rely on them. The best thing ever that Blizzard did was to have a cross server dungeon search which is something this game needs badly. A server transfer will help my chances but a cross server matching system would make transfers really not necessarily for me personally. At this point my level 50 character can pvp which I have never been a fan of or wait for a transfer. I also don't really want to level up a new toon as there are flashpoints I would like to run at the level they should be run at. I don't want to go through them at level 50. SWTOR has so much content in flash points that I would like to try and engage at the level they are geared towards. Just my $.02
  8. REAL EASY FIX, Take a lesson from Blizzard and make a cross server flash point search.
