Hell, no. 99.5% of sith use red light sabers. Look at books, movies, comics, doesn't matter. Red is the universal dark side saber color. As far as I am concerned if you are running around on the sith with a green light saber then you are not sith. I support Bio on this 100% and hope they choose to stick to lore over people's desire to customize everything.
Two things:
1) There is absolutely no basis in lore for restricting lightsaber color to morality. There are Jedi who use red sabers, Sith lords who use blue, and so on. The restriction is one solely based on trying to make some sort of significance to morality.
2) While it may work fine for Force users, non-Force users also are affected by this limitation. Dark-side troopers and smugglers can't equip blue or green color crystals, and light-side bounty hunters and agents can't equip red. Pop Quiz: what color were the lasers of the Empire and Rebellion in the Star Wars movies? Answer: Rebellion used red, and Empire used green.

I don't want to make light of the situation or anything, because I know that losing money or commendations on a bad purchase really sucks. But I am wondering how this really happens.
To buy something, you right-click it. To preview something, you ctrl-left click it. You shouldn't be buying things when you try to preview. I guess, if you get mixed up and try to ctrl-right click, it'd buy something. And it does suck that you can't sell it back, but I'm having a tough time seeing how that would happen more than once.
I guess it doesn't help that the loading screen tooltip says to use alt-right click to preview items.

I would have to go with Shadows of the Empire. But it was the Heir to the Empire trilogy that got me back into Star Wars in a big way. I actually think that's what caused the huge resurgence in the 90s and made Lucas start considering the THX rereleases.

Yet another person who takes the Jedi Code at face value... People really need to learn to read between the lines.
Can't help that the Jedi Code that is in vogue at the time of TOR is a stupid interpretation. And I can't even lay the blame for that at the feet of Odan-Urr, because I don't think he meant it to be as absolute and concrete as it is written.
The original code that was drafted on Tython and used before the Great War was much better:
Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Death, yet the Force.
It acknowledges the existence of five universal truths, and it then strives to overcome them. The current interpretation of Odan-Urr's text, whether it was the intention or not, denies the very existence of those universal truths.
It is said that the wise man knows nothing, but always strives to learn more, and this is even affirmed in a quest in game, as I recall. Yet, the Jedi Code denies the existence of Ignorance, which is merely the lack of knowledge. Everyone is ignorant.
Now, look at how Jedi in the movies and in the time period of the KOTOR games look at the Jedi Code, and then look at me with a straight face, and tell me that they're not strictly interpreting the code. You can't do it, because that's exactly what is happening. Jedi are emotionally stunted individuals, and that was never more true than with Anakin Skywalker, who never learned to deal with emotion in healthy ways; he learned only to suppress them. And those emotions boiled over and caused his downfall. He chose the path, but the Jedi never gave him the tools to find another path himself.

Seeing as the divisions are merely mechanics, he was a Jedi, then a Sith, and then a Jedi again.
His class in the RPG is Jedi 7/Jedi Knight 5/Sith Apprentice 3/Sith Lord 5 at the time of his capture. Eventually that all comes back to him, so I think it's a fair approximation: a level 20 character in a game where the "max" level is 20.
In canon, titles like Watchman, Sentinel, Consular and so on are just what people do. A Jedi who specializes in mediating disputes is probably a consular. A Jedi who "adopts" a region of space and acts as a sort of traveling sheriff is a Watchman. A Shadow is an undercover Jedi, who blends in to better fight the Dark Side, no matter the shape it takes.
There is only Jedi. Everything else is just labels that have no bearing on anyone's abilities.

Eh... kind of.
Leia was, in fact, on her way to Alderaan. By way of Tatooine. She was there to pick up Obi-Wan Kenobi to recruit him for the cause. A real living Jedi would have emboldened the Rebellion.
We know this because of Leia's message to Ben in the movie.
General Kenobi.Years ago, you served my father in the Clone Wars. Now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father's request to you in person, but my ship has fallen under attack, and I'm afraid my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed.
I have placed information vital to the survival of the Rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit; my father will know how to retrieve it. You must see this droid delivered safely to him on Alderaan.
This is our most desperate hour.
Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.
She may have been meeting a Rebel ship, but she was at Tatooine for the expressed purpose of picking up Ben for the Rebellion.
So, when Captain Antilles said, "This is a consular ship. We're on a diplomatic mission," he was not lying. They were. Leia was to meet with Obi-Wan, present Bail's plea, and provide the jedi transport back to Alderaan.
Leia lied by omission. And, had the rebel spies not sent those plans to the corvette, her mission likely would have succeeded. However, the plans would never have made it to the hands of the Alliance, making the entire thing moot.

The initial entry is dated 21359.75.512
He writes about the Sacking of Coruscant in an entry dated 21390.02.056. He mentions that event being two years previous in an entry dated 21392.38.748. So, I think it's safe to assume the first number is the year. Since what event, I don't know. I assume the formation of the Republic, and that lines up with the 25,000 years number from the time of the OT.
The second and third numbers remain a mystery to me. I can't see any real correlation between them and the Galactic Standard Calendar as we understand it now.
Gnost-Dural's first entry about the war, where he mentioned the attack on Korriban is dated 21363. So, if we assume that Satele is 18 in the Return cinematic, that makes her ~45 at the time of Threat of Peace and ~55 at the start of TOR itself.
Gnost-Dural mentions dropping out of hyperspace in orbit of Alderaan in his 21376.89.704 entry. He mentions seeing flares from successful guerilla attacks on Sith units on the surface (the end of the Hope trailer). That makes Satele roughly 31 in that particular trailer.

I'm currently running around with a friend of mine, and we're getting different amounts of xp for each kill we make.
For our previous two kills, I got 252 and 197. He got 273 and 205. Is anyone else noticing this?

The smuggler knows the ship will fly because it's his ship?
Well, there was damage to the outer hull of the ship. Some of the station's structure fell on it in the attack. It is his ship, but the damage could have rendered it inoperable. Thus the question "Will she fly?".
As for the OP's question, the smuggler knows it will fly, for the reason that Kartikeya mentioned: it's his ship. He knows what that sort of damage would possibly do to it. He also knows what "unregistered upgrades" have been made to the ship, and can reasonably assess the damage from the outside.

I like to stealth up and Mind Maze a guy in large groups. Otherwise, though, I'll just run in and Project at the big guy, then Breach the group and fire it up.
The stealth is a godsend, though, when I'm wandering around looking for crystal nodes and I don't want to fight anything I don't have to.

No, he wasn't. He said exactly what the "retcon" said: midichlorians are an effect of the Force; they are not the cause of it.
This in no way invalidates either Ben's or Yoda's explanations of the Force in the OT. One must remember that the Force was widely known in the time of the prequels. Jedi were numerous. The Empire rewrote history when it took control of the Republic. Jedi became criminals and outcasts, and their source of power became a myth. That's why Luke had no idea what the Force was.
So, rather than go into what little scientific information they actually had obtained regarding the Force, he came up with a quick, easy explanation for it. Besides, Obi-Wan never struck me as the scientific type.
Midichlorians were just a tool used to determine force sensitivity. No more, no less. They're no more the reason the Force exists than is the spot in Leia's mind that nearly knocked Luke out of his chair when he pushed on it. Both are just ways to observe the Force.
