I have asked this same question in multiple posts in the trooper forums and have never really heard back from anyone either. As I have gathered, all the loot table sites like Torhead and Knotor are severly out of date... like pulling from Beta, and so they are inaccurate. If anyone knows where the trooper dark alignment armor drops, they aren't sharing. Trust me if I find some, I'll let everyone know

I felt the same way about the Thunderclap when I first got it, felt a little jipped that the Trooper didn't get something a little more hardcore looking, but it's grown on me. It's totally utilitarian for sure, but I would have preferred something that looks more like an assault vehicle from Appleseed or something!

All I know is they made Lando a General and all he did was sell everyone out and then get shot off a speeder into the Sarlaac pit. We should all be Generals after Ord Mantell by that record
