You keep mixing two different things together. You never needed any specific valor to get CHAMPION gear. But you need valor 60 to get BATTLEMASTER gear. BATTLEMASTER > CHAMPION. 1) Centurion, 2) Champion, 3) Battlemaster. And yes, you still need valor 60 to get BATTLEMASTER gear after the patch. But they changed the way battlemaster bags work, so now they give you tokens that you can exchange for the items you want, instead of it being totally random.

I have to agree with this. I'm a sage, and I see the imbalance issue between my class and snipers. Maybe give the snipers more mobility? (instant abilities, instead of having to be a turret staying at the same place while sniping)... I don't know, that's up to BW to see and decide.

You are comparing a normal ranged class (sage/sorc) to an excessively weak ranged class (sniper/gunslinger). In any case it's not that the sages/sorcerors need a nerf, it's that snipers/gunslingers need a buff. And I'd agree with this.

Are you kidding man? Being in the Republic side is ALL advantages! 1) You don't get to play Huttball all the time. 2) There's always quick capping points in Ilum and Imps to gank. Republics have "preference" in Ilum, so to say. 3) Less lag in the major areas like the fleet. 4) Less kids that think they're "elite" and what not. 5) No people stealing your quest mobs, or annoying you in quest areas. And the list goes on...

They are mirror classes, so they are the same (theoretically). It depends on the spec you choose and how good you are.

Not only did you lose gear if you got killed and your name was Red in Lineage 2, but whenever you died, you also lost experience. You could even de-level, from 75 to 74 if you died enough times for example. Add this here, and everyone ragequits after 2 months.
