  2. Bioware, Today I spent the day doing warzone after warzone of Huttball. Sure, I like it, but when 95% of the games are Huttball, against the Republic (my own side), its just too much. I like PVP. That's my thing. I'm sure some folks will tell me I'm in the wrong game. Still, I enjoy the gameplay SWTOR offers for PVP. I expect a war. This is what I paid for. The world PVP has basically dried up. Many players have quit, which has made this problem of constant Huttball all the worse. My server has less people each week. Your PVP has become boring. I seriously hope it isn't too late by the time 1.2 is released. People keep telling me a lot of players will return when 1.2 does finally come out, but I have my doubts. I hope it isn't too late already. I finally had to logoff out of sheer PVP boredom after another Huttball match started. I don't even know if its worth logging in tomorrow.

  4. They should be fine with a little less survivability and the same damage. Lower that freaking heal and we stop calling for nerfs. Right now a single watchman can hold against 2 players by himself for a good amount of time. They aren't tanks for christsakes. Oh yeah, a good one will kill the first opponent and nearly kill the second depending on the classes. Don't try to tell me you don't think they are overpowered. Please.
  5. Yea right, anyone at 50 playing for some time know its BS. They need to be adjusted. More survivability than a freakin tank and doing as much damage as a GS almost. Get real.

  8. My damage is negotiable as a tank. Sorry, this doesn't work in reverse. Look, you can lie to yourself is you want, but you know its messed up.
  9. Easy excuse. I don't care about the damage. I care about the survivability you have. Your damage is too high for it. Sorry if you don't like it but eventually they will catch on. You aren't a tank - you are DPS.
  10. As a guardian, I find it pretty messed up you guys do so much freaking damage and still have the survivability you have. I'm rerolling.
  11. All good points too. Said more elegantly then our friend before. The design of Ilum is terrible. In so many ways. Any experienced gamer would agree. Fix that, and maybe these complaints go away...
  12. This is a great post. I agree with you 100%. Especially the weird delays! My guardian suffers them. My gs suffers delay going to cover and throwing grenades. Its terrible. Reminds me of war hammer online.
  13. So back to the topic at hand. I do think judging the completion of these quests by medals could lead to players caring less about their team. My suggestion is to judge completion by wins/losses. 3 wins = complete. 9 losses = complete. This forces players to strive for better teamwork and still feel like they haven't wasted their time. Folks not liking waiting nine losses will work hard to train friends to win.

Like I said, you take yourself way too seriously. :-) Are you really insinuating that giving this guy his daily quest each day is going to lead to communism? I mean, I was following you just fine insisting he earn his rewards, but you make this GAME sound like its the freaking Olympics.

  17. Judging by this person's responses, you getting gear is a real threat to society. :-) I doubt the guy has ever played a sport and his idea of exercise is walking to the fridge to get his next red bull.
  18. Excuse me, but where did I complain? Give us a break with your geek complex. I never said I agreed with this idea, just that you are simple-minded. I really don't know what the solution is, but we don't need you to sit here preaching to everyone about your supposed greatness or assuming we want easy wins or don't care to train bad players to be better. People like you crack me up, you take yourself way too serious.
  19. Only to the simple-minded. I lead in most categories each game but my team loses. My teamwork is great. I do my job. Six hours for a single win on my server is hard enough, but three wins on most days is impossible. I welcome you to bring your superior arse to my server and to continue talking ****.

  21. I guess I should have made it more clear. I mean both sides. I don't really care about empire being stronger than republic. I just want some fair freaking games, and losing all day isn't fair. Sure, we have terrible players on our side, but not every game is full of them. Hopefully, I've cleared this up. This isn't a bash BH and sorc thread. This is a fix your freaking game for melee and cover and figure out why republic is losing every game thread. Thanks.
  22. Hello, I'm not here to complain about Empire having better abilities or graphics than Republic. Frankly, I couldn't give a rat's arse. What I do care about is taking the most medals, objectives, damage, or whatever almost every game and still losing all day and night long. It literally took me 8 hours today to get one freaking win in a WZ. Developers, what's the deal? Others - don't make excuses about skill, teamwork or whatever. This doesn't just happen once, but nearly all week long. Some days there isn't even a single win. Also, why is almost every WZ about 70% bounty hunters and 20% sorcerers? Mix the other classes in the extra percentages. Fact. You have a broken game, which like most poorly conceptualized PVP MMOs, you have given a high advantage to classes with ranged abilities, healing, and high damage output. Throw in heavy armor or a damage bubble and you developers are really braindead. Finally, toss in all the rampant CC and the terribly broken resolve system and you have a recipe for cancellations when Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 come out. I love Star Wars. I even love this game. Still, why continue playing something so broken? Oh yeah, and fix Cover for IA and Smugglers. The activiation time should not depend on an animation - it should be instant. Fix the bugs with cover that cause it not to be activated at all, and I'm not talking about the worthless rolling effect that no one even uses. You do these things, and you got me even when these other games come out. If not, well I'm sure the people reading this don't give a crap, but your bottom line will.
  23. If you aren't a teenager, you sure act like one. Anyhow, this part isn't to you specifically, but I don't think this nerf did a damn thing. BH are still spamming the hell out of tracer missle, literally just pressing 1 button for wins. That's just stupid and a poorly designed game.
