  1. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#4010cZGIrodzMdGoZhMb.1 This is the build I use for DPS in HM EC. For EV and KP, I tend to take out the 2 points in Lethality and put them in Medicine for the faster heal and tactical advantage; it's really useful on Soa, Rancor, Garj, prepping for council, puzzle boss, and pretty much every fight where you're away from the enemy for more than 5 seconds, plus it'll help your healers out and get you through the platforms in Soa safer, so it's all winning. Lethality does comparable damage, as well, but is less dependent on positioning, so you may want to look into that if you're interested. Not my cuppa, personally, but I'm sure there's a link around.
  2. I do too, but they said they don't have Acid Blade so I figured it was a leveling-based question, lol.
  3. Not in a leveling situation. It's not worth the energy endless they're a gold and maybe a tougher silver.
  4. Surgical Probe and Kolto Probe /make/ an Op healer.
  5. The 5 energy is abysmal. If you're managing energy correctly, you're staying in the top tier anyway, and the 4pc gives you another 1 energy to play with at the top. Totally worth ditching it for the cunning boost. At lower gear points, I think using BM Field Tech to get the OS bonus would be better, but I'm not sure how it holds up at campaign gear levels.
  6. Hmm. They should give KInf a bonus to resistances or healing done by HoTs or something. Give us a reason to use other heals.
  7. I love the debuff for PvP though. Superb when you can coordinate its use. And Pin Down is godly. Really helps close the distance or create more of it. As for ES, I find it debatably useful. If I'm stealthing, I usually am either running entirely, or just getting people off my tail for a moment. As such, I'm either out of it in less than a second, or chillin in it for 15-20. As such, I rarely take it, even in a full concealment PvP spec (which I never do anymore). Since the change, it's only marginally useful to me. Tox Screen, though, has good use if you're partnered with a buddy. Means you only really have to focus on yourself and one other, and if she gets CCed, you can quickly clear it to keep the battle going,
  8. CS cannot proc more than once every ten seconds, and the TA generation is only on poisoned mobs. Off the top of my head, I believe KP can proc TA once every 4.5 seconds, but it's only 30% per tick of KP so often times its far less. So, unless you're putting CD up on every mob you're using Lac on, which is a waste of energy on anything below silver, then you're unlikely to have much benefit from that CD's TA proc. however, if you kill an enemy using Lac, then you'll regain TA anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it. With grenade, shiv, BS, and Lac, along with rolling KP on you and Kaliyo (for soloing), you won't need it.
  9. I've been waiting for this! I'll have to check it out when I get to a computer tomorrow, rather than just my iPad.
  10. Yes, they would die. Also, operative DPS is super complicated. I'm sure if you're bored healing, you can get some challenge there. I happen to enjoy Op healing mechanics, personally, though making KInf hit much harder would make the burst power more entertaining and energy management would get a bit harder.
  11. Pretty much all of this. Also, be aware of how you prefer to play and spec accordingly. If you prefer to be on the move and out of melee, go a lethality spec. If you prefer up close and personal with good control, concealment is your friend. If you don't mind a longer fight and you have a friend, make a hybrid (medic+concealment/lethality). I personally play hybrid in PvP 80% of the time and run around with my Maurader buddy. The two of us can take on a majority of the enemy team for quite a while and often surviving the onslaught, giving the rest of the team a chance to take points. In any case, if you want to stay opaque, play to your strengths as a player and work hard to make the class work for you. It's by far the most entwining class I've played and the little things you can do can add up to a stunning victory.
  12. In a derisive manner. A statement such as "Actually, marauders do X not Y" would be far more beneficial than intentionally causing irritation.
  13. So, no work around...but here's something interesting. I've been 50 since pretty close to launch and I've of course finished my class line...and yet I can travel to the Tenebrous...I'm really not sure why, but hey, maybe it'll help you with your bug reports.
  14. Hey, mine too! I keybound AB to shift+2 so I wouldn't accidentally click it at any point and waste tons of energy.
  15. It is to me! Is that why it's not available on mobile devices sometimes? I always figured that it had to do with the video type. That's good to know for the future. =) Awesome video with some impressive crits. Kind of makes me want to go back to full concealment again, but my hybrid build is entertaining in a different way. I'll be looking forward to Lion VI but this'll hold me over until then!
  16. Figured they were calibrating the proper dosage for the heal.
  17. Intended? Who knows. But it's always been that way. Supremely annoying, I know.
  18. How would that be helpful? And it's great that you think 50% of this game is drivel, but as far as I'm concerned, parses for PvP combat would be pretty much drivel to me. PvP is so subjective based on other players and their gear that a PvP parse wouldn't be very helpful.
  19. No. We apply Acid Blade and Corrosive Dart as debuffs, it doesn't just happen naturally when we fight.
  20. No...I happen to like my blaster rifle.
  21. You can upload the log to any upload site or service as its just a text document. The adrenal might be a large portion as to why your DPS is exceeding 1400 without orbital strike. I'd be interested to see the difference without it. I'm also assuming that you're in all Rakata and maybe black hole/campaign pieces. Is that accurate?
  22. This doesn't really have any information beyond the basic rotation. Do you have the log we can look at? And what gear are we looking at? Did you use adrenals and relic?
  23. On the contrary, I think what you're proving is just how much skill it takes to play an operative to its max and that we're still far behind Mauraders and their easy-mode rotations. Basically, we can play our absolute best and still be behind most average Mauraders, and far behind the best ones. I'm loving all the new data you're pumping out, though. It's exceptionally helpful in this thread! =)
  24. While I'm happy that you broke that barrier (and putting your log into fryingtime you hit 1412, so not sure which is more accurate), I notice that you did it by opening with Orbital strike before combat begins and having Stim Boost already in effect (both of which /might/ happen but probably won't, considering that tanks rarely ask the operative if she's all ready to go). Do you think that was the primary contributor to your increased dps? So what priority order are you working at, if you've changed things up? I notice that you didn't use any explosive probes. Did that help? Also, your last parse picture didn't display your tech stats; did you move anything from your second?
