  1. More pew pew in 1.2 Nerf BH and Sorc more Give us Pommel and Opportune Strike in PvP Resolve system = crap. Too much chainstun in PvP. Stun should entirely lose its utility far more quickly than it does. Alternatively, give me CC immunity for 12 secs on a 30 sec cooldown, or reduce Resolve's cooldown drastically. Ranged > Melee. Boost Melee damage via Str or nerf Ranged via Cunning/Aim stat, your choice. This is obvious to pretty much everyone and should be addressed soon. Sentinel has no utility other than interrupts (and only really viable at that if Watchman specced) and needs serious work.
  2. You underestimate the power of 105 keys.
  3. Vader absorbed blaster bolts with his hand. I wouldn't mind some of that.
  4. Just make the turrets continuous fire as long as the button is held down so that the targeting/firing lag problems don't make the turret bit as tedious.
  5. This seems like a pretty simple thing to fix, actually. Give Artificers more schematics for the other colors. They could certainly use the business. Judging by the replies to this thread, adding a few extra color schematics would give that craft a much needed boost, particularly at the low end, where saber customization is less of an option. Keep the stats on the crystals. The game is already tuned for this, and adding more color schematics to Artificing will ease the friction. Let Magenta remain an 'easter egg' for fun and rarity. Maybe put in another easter egg or two like it for some other unusual combos like black/purple. Heck, why just the two variations (blade/core)? Make some crystals that do things like : give a sparkle effect to the blade give off an intense glow that reflects off players and nearby objects has particle effects with particles of a different colour spinning around the blade subtle colour gradients that slowly shift between two hues give the blade a nimbus of lightning make the blade thin like a fencing sword make the blade broader like a cutlass These things can be accomplished without causing lag city on older hardware, although some effects would be degraded in appearance on older hardware, but thems the breaks. I also wonder why Artificing cannot craft non-moddable sabers with prefix advancement... Redoubt, Overkill, Critical, etc. with random colour blades. I think the lack of lightsaber options has us Force-users feeling the burn.
  6. Lightning: Resolve, Force Stasis, Force Leap, Force Kick, Force Sweep Fire: See above Focus: Crusader, Burning Focus, countless traits to reduce Focus costs/refund focus Healing: Watchman spec Juyo Zen We have all that...
  7. The Zen effect doesn't have to stack with Transcendence. Entering Transcendence consumes 30 stacks of centering ... just like Zen. I don't know for certain, but I don't think it's possible in Combat spec to build centering fast enough to pop Transcendence while still in Zen. I'll have to try that out. Although even if it doesn't stack with another Knight's Trancendence, it's still 5% faster... so I'm not sure what the problem is there either. I will say that I don't see a lot of Combat Sents putting that movement speed to effective use except in Huttball.
  8. Does Gravity reduce the focus cost on Cauterize when Inflammation is traited?
  9. Sentinels are a finesse class. You mention your ratings in WoW and state you are a skilled player but the bar is far higher in SWTOR, particularly with this class. You complain about failing at PvE, but you give no specifics, no specs. From your comment about not being able to heal, I'd guess you are playing Combat spec rather than Watchman. Combat is all about big crits and big hits to kill them faster than they kill you. If you're not accomplishing that, then you need to re-evaluate how you are playing the class and respec a bit to reach your goals. For healing and being a value-add to your group, try Watchman spec and make sure to max out Merciless Zeal so that crits on DoTs pulse-heal you. Then, make sure you put points into the passives to generate Centering - Valor in the Watchman tree and consider maxing out Temperance in the Combat Tree. This will let you drop into Zen rapidly to pulse out healing to your group. As far as tanking goes, we are not intended to fill that role much - as we have no taunt - but we can actually be a decent situational off-tank if specced and played well. If you find yourself falling into this role in the groups you run with, max out Recompense in the Watchman tree and use Riposte every chance you get to refresh the cooldown on Rebuke. Save Saber Ward for when the going gets tough - I see a lot of Sentinels bust this early in a fight when they aren't taking much damage. Max out Defensive Forms and swap to Shi-Cho when you're taking a beating... Zephyr and Second Wind in Focus are also helpful. There are lots of options in Sentinel, but regardless of how you trait, succeeding at any role comes down to attention and finesse.
  10. The activation lag you're perceiving in PvP can also be attributed to ability queuing. In PvE, particularly on Boss fights, long ability queues are helpful for making sure abilities fire off immediately one after another to maximize sustained DPS. In PvP, however, your targets are not going to just stand there getting hit. Additionally, the flow of combat is unpredictable, particularly with people trying to strafe-circle you and other such attempts to mess with your targeting. If you're experiencing this problem I highly recommend trying PvP with a minimal (or no) ability queue.
  11. Keep in mind that Legacies are still coming, and although I've seen no info on what those will eventually look like, it would make sense for them to include additional utility skills, particularly as they are leveled. Perhaps the Legacies will add additional force powers for force classes and techs for non-force. There's also expansions in the future, which will likely follow the industry pattern of adding new tricks to old classes to revitalize the game. I think force pull and push would be fine with Sentinel, and wouldn't necessarily require a loss of our DPS capability. Choosing to push or pull someone would be very situational, and you are losing DPS in a sense because you're choosing to move them around instead of whacking them with a glow stick. How about Satele Shan's Hadouken in the backstory cinematic on Alderaan? Wouldn't that be sweet to drop into a Legacy!
  12. I would rather not have to rely on an Add-on for maintaining DoTs. I'd rather see the DoTs themselves become easier to see in combat situations. Then there's no need for managing an add-on and waiting for it to get updated after a patch, or QQ about how it's to blame for fail. The targets are supposed to be ON FIRE... an animation for flames on the targets would be great. To visually show how many stacks of DoTs there are, use colors. Red/orange/blue would be fine.. the more DoTs the hotter the flames. Could also go green/blue/purple if they wanted to set them apart from the flamethrower effect. That would make them more apparent that they are a Force power, and would tie into the 'Purple>Blue>Green' theme, not to mention that they are all lightsaber colors.
