Ive been in groups, and have gotten messages about "So and so has started a conversation" when they would turn in quests...i havent done any flashpoints though, other than the black talon that i did with my companion.. are those messages I get, the social conversations?

First, I am sorry for this stupid question. I am now level 18, and have yet to aquire any "Social points" that is supposed to be through Social conversations. How exactly does one begin social conversations? From what I gather, its done with other players, but ive never seen the option for social conversations, so maybe I am missing something

These forums are pretty much like ALL MMO forums right before launch. Fact of the matter is, it's impossible to make everyone happy, which means there are always going to be whiners, haters and complainers. So to say "These forums are just like ________, so its going to be just like ______" makes no sense.

The games release date is the 20th. I preordered, and still haven't gotten in. Do you see me whining and huffing and carrying on like a rabid wookie? No! Why? because I can read, and understand that early access means getting in before the release date which is the 20th. Nowhere did they say "Hey! if you pre-order now, you can start playing now." Don't just make assumptions. If you are unsure about how something works, ask around. Nobody else seems to have misunderstood that, so you would have gotten plenty of answers.

Um, maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to find a search feature on these forums. Does one exist and maybe I am just missing it?

Also, I would like to clarify, it doesnt have to run the game at max graphics, my desktop will be able to handle that, however higher than the lowest setting would be nice, and still able to run smoothly-ish.

I am currently waiting on SW:TOR, and plan to do some of my gaming on a desktop, but also am looking to pick up a laptop(Preferably one priced not to break the bank) to use when I don't have access to my desktop(When my wife is using the computer, or when im off on trips) Can anyone offer some suggestions and links to Laptops that will run TOR?
