Besides the deceit, there's something fishy going on. They can't launch on December 14, but they will wrap it all up (all the WIP's, bugs, glitches and changes from PTS feedback) in 1 month (after coming back from Holidays) ? Either they are straight lying and the expansion is ready to go or this expansion is so FUBAR that they will have to delay again in Feb. The issue here seems to be far from "give us 1 more month and we will finish it". Remember: they made a livestream, announced the release date, teased the new features, everything was supposedly gold. Then suddenly the game needs 1 more month of polishing, out of the blue. This will likely be delayed again in Feb.

Well, I only see two possible scenarios here: 1- The expansion is ready and they are lying, to take a break on Holidays. 2- The expansion is so FUBAR that it will be delayed again in Feb. Either that or we will have another Cyberpunk 2077 in our hands. There were so many things that were WIP or broken on PTS that it's unlikely that they are gonna fix all that PLUS listen to feedback and implement changes. It's freaking impossible to do that in 1 month (the time they will have after having their Holiday breaks). We are being deceived here and, as always, they trust that people will swallow whatever they push down their throaths. And as far as I've seen here on this forum, that's exactly what some players will do: get lied to and thank Bioware for it.

You know, I worry about the gaming industry as a whole when reading this kind of post. Maybe that's what this game is lacking: some common sense among it's players. You can't be deceived, lied to and think everything is fine and ok, because that's life and the responsibility of not being deceived by promises and official announcements is on you. I really doubt you would be this naive and agreeable IRL with your money and your time. Ultimately this is the kind of passive, agreeable and biased behavior that lets Bioware and other gaming companies take a dump on customers again and again.

No my friend, you can't go off that easy. Don't even try. I don't care if it's WW3 out there, the company made customers believe the new content was coming out next week. I don't care about the WIP's or bugs, they kept everyone in the dark on these forums until one week from launch. They had plenty of time to delay or made announcements, they didn't. If you're the type of person who supports this kind of behaviour, I hope you don't complain when you get scammed IRL.

Making this public one week before lauch is a very, very shady move. A lot of people (me included) got a subscription to play the expansion (in my case, 2 months). But like I've said in a previous post on another topic: you guys simply don't care. This was a CDPR type of scummy move. Also, is anyone here really surprised? The game had a lot of problems and "WIP" tags on PTS. What kind of miracle these guys would have to pull out of their hats to deliver this expansion in 7 days? Shame on me for believing it. Way to treat customers and players. And way to go on the 10th year of this game, what a shame.

I play this game since Beta and if there's one thing I've already learned is that Bioware simply doesn't care about you, your time and your efforts in this game. That is why I strongly recommend that you don't sink much of your time in SWTOR. This game simply doesn't reward or gives you respect for the amount of hours you put into it. At any moment everything can change and your "grinding" go down the toilet. So choose wisely if you wanna spend your time grinding for whatever it is in swtor, specially gear

If this is your way to force people to make ranked pvp, it is extremely bad, for everyone. Ranked pvp has low pops now because the cancerous players have driven away other people. They have destroyed their own community and it's not up to the "other people" to fix their mess by being forced to play. Same goes to NiM. If the goal is to help guilds finish MM OPS, why build so much trouble around getting these augs? This doesn't make any sense at all.

Honestly? I would like an expansion in KOTFE/KOTFT style, with the return of cinematic trailers. But I guess I'm just being naive and expecting too much.

What makes me sad with this game is the "rerolling FOTM factor" created from time to time. I'm not gonna reroll another class just to stomp people more easily. Fun thing is that a lot of the people playing FOTM (except Marauders) are there backpedaling and clicking, while using skills. This only hints me the huge skill gap between playing these classes and other ones, like DPS sins, juggs and Marauders. I have a juggernaut as my main and I like playing it, but I have to admit that being a melee in this game has never been easy. There's a lot of bad players that make my life less excruciating when playing pvp...but the tools for a good ranged class player are there: kiting, roots, snares, stuns, boosts, CC immunity, long range attacks, insta cast, self healing, Shields, deflecting perks... ...it's like Bioware wants you to pay for your sins by chosing to be melee. Again: the amount of bad ppl playing makes your life a lil easier, but some situations, like one i've faced last night (2 snipers and 2 mercs) makes you regret being a melee in this game.

Get out....both expansions had an amazing story.

Unfortunatelly this happens a lot. There's always room for improvement in this game. It was completely broken beyond hope when it launched in 2011 (when I started doing pvp and illum was a big deal when it came to level your valor rank). So I understand valid and constructive criticism. But for the most part, people complain too much. Playing pvp involves a series of issues, like skill gap, gear, teamwork, healing, tanking, etc. I see people complaining that they enter a 5 vs 1 fight and don't come out alive, so they start asking for nerfs. Just remember that this game is not na FPS, where a player can be a one man army. If I jump into a 5 vs 1 situation, I usually burn all my defensive cooldowns to last as long as possible, and I do it just for the sake of distraction, so the team can acomplish something.

Try playing a dark side trooper and tell me i'ts not fun. You can even shoot a senator!

I play juggernaut (vengeance) as my main, since this game launched in 2011. I guess this is the reason why I usually do well in warzones, not because of my class. ps: Never switch to a FOTM class when one gets buffed. You will lose skill with your main. Maybe this will help.
