  1. I know these mechanics were there, but there is a big difference. In those fights, those attacks either a) didn't remove nearly 67% of a person's health if they went uncleansed, or b) weren't fired off every 7 seconds. In this fight, because multiple people get the same dot at the same time (specifically in wave 5, where, due to the bulwarks, it is impossible to spread out when handling those corruptors) And "just heal through it" isn't a defense. If you use sorc puddles there, people get grouped up, and you just get the dot again on more people. Given how dramatic the dot's damage is, if 3 people get it at the same time, there's just no way to heal through it. If 2 people get it, it's extremely difficult to heal them through it and keep the tank and other dps up. Simply put, it's a bad design decision.
  2. I get that, but that's still a silly thing to have to do, to say healer can't handle the healing.
  3. In HM, if it goes uncleansed, it can easily do 50%+ damage to a player
  4. Wow, so not only does the fight completely hamper the most common healer because of a dot type, but they can't even use two different dot names. For such a detailed fight, they spent no time thinking about the details.
  5. Okay, here are all the dots in the fight. Mass Affliction (mental) - cleansable, goes out to everyone at the same time if you fail to interrupt a corruptor. This is survivable on some waves (Wave 8 for example), though still inadvisable. Corrosive Grenade - AOE thrown out by Draxus on waves he's around. Basically makes sorcs useless, since their puddle makes people vulnerable to his AOEs, and not cleansable by sorcs/sages. Guardian dot (didn't catch the name) - looks like Affliction, but not cleansable by anyone.
  6. I get that they made it tech, and sorcs can't cleanse tech, but why do that? So you're allowed to heal with operatives and mercs in fight, but not sorcs. How unreasonable is it to use sorc healers? Even if you have 1 sorc + 1 operative, it isn't enough to cleanse it all every single time when you have to deal with bulwark shield. Devs need to strongly consider making the dot physical ASAP. Edit: to be clear, I get that certain healers will be better on certain fights, but sorcs are just way too nerfed on this fight. Every wave that Draxus is up is a struggle, as your AOE bubble only draws the corrosive grenade to a group that you then can't cleanse it off of. It's on thing for a healer's style to be less apt for a fight. It's another to prevent them entirely from responding to a core mechanic.

  8. Additionally, two things on Raptus fight. Possible Bug: Raptus: after we had failed two healer tests in this fight, the boss stopped doing the "tests" and it became tank and spank. He had roughly 50% when this happened, so it seems to be a bug. If that is intended, then obviously there's no way to know/ Problem: Several people have said that on SM in full 72s min/maxed, it is nearly impossible to keep up the heal target for the healer challenge in this fight. Needs to be rebalanced.
  9. Unless I missed some, there are only two quick travel points on Oricon (Operation area and your faction base). The faction base has stayed active as far as I can tell, but I have see both the QT point and the speeder no longer give me access to the Operation entrance area. This is frustrating because on one of my toons, I completed the story, but still have to huff it there (through a heroic area and pubside campers) on foot just to do operations.
  10. nfernal Harvest Difficulty: SM 16 Man I know not all this goes to customer service, and I will drop this in the suggestion box to. Just putting them fully in both posts for convenience. Bug: Dread Master Calyphys (or however you spell Boss 3's name in Dread Palace): After one wipe on the boss, the second time we fought the boss, none of his mechanics fired off. This, needless the say, may the fight a simple tank and spank, and clearly isn't intended behavior. All bosses should use their mechanics every time. Bug: (Known bug) Dread Masters Final Confrontation cannot be completed due to "Unreachable" staying on. This one is known. Problem: Dread Master Bestia fight: The larva due a very very large amount of damage, and the Dread Monsters hit like wet noodles that are also drunk. If this is intended behavior, it seems odd, since even healers could facetank the Dread Monsters without trouble, but two larva could wipe the raid. I think a happy compromise would be to boost the Monsters output while weakening the larva's melee attack. As it stands now, Phase 1 of the fight is far and away the hardest, and the other phases are sleepers. Oversight: On Dread Master Tyrans, if someone falls, they have to run all the way back in. Additionally, if someone dies, and their tile falls, they have to run all the way back in for looting. Is there anyways to reset the bodies or have the bodies move to the entrance of the room after clearing so they can be rezzed, thus speeding up loot time, etc.

  12. Infernal Harvest raid videos (currently out of date, but I'm bringing it back) youtube.com/pmcburn1 Twitch feed twitch.tv/dbsmiley Raids usually start at 9 p.m. I typically only livestream if newer players in our guild would like to watch to learn mechanics, otherwise I just Fraps for better quality and upload to Youtube.
  13. Infernal Harvest is back to running 16-man HMs! Now is a great time to join. Visit the website (infernalharvest.com) if your interested in joining!

  15. TFB HM Achievement shots for Vandenreich, who got guild firsts on Operator IX and Kephess. We stopped on TFB because it was getting late, and there appears to be a health reset bug for the burn phase. We'll pick it up next week when the bug is fixed. 16. Vandenreich has down bosses 4, 5, and 6 of HM S&V. Kenjura has video of all the fights. I forgot to screen cap 4 (and again, can't use achievement screen because I previously cleared with Infernal Harvest). However, here are loot shots of bosses 5 and 6. Will get Kimbel to give me his acheivement shots for 1 and 2, since we're still missing those. 5 http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3738/9071436771_e6553a3904_o.jpg 6 http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5530/9071438589_f2ba264692_o.jpg Edit: missing acheivement screens: 1:http://i.imgur.com/nHCsGVT.jpg 2:http://i.imgur.com/q2j5SYU.jpg 4: http://i.imgur.com/70V5x4S.jpg
  17. Vandenreich cracks the scoreboard on HM S&V. I'm waiting on the officer to upload the fight showing the phase was HM 8-Man, but we have downed Trasher, and this screenshot has Level 72 Loot, so I figure that should be proof enough for now.: http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5454/9061977019_e5836078ef_h.jpg I do not have screenshots of the HM Dash'roode and Titan 6 kill, but will upload acheivement screenshots from one of the people who cleared it for the first time (I can't use my own achievements, as I have previously cleared this fight with Infernal Harvest). 18. I just want to reiterate that I truly believe this to be the best PvE guild on server. The staff of officers and ops leaders are the only reason I am not terrible at this game anymore and have actually gotten several HM clears under my belt. If you are in the market for a PvE guild that's never going to give you up, or let you down, or run around and desert you, check out IH. These guys are fantastic.
  19. Grats on server first HM S&V 16 down. For the 16M HM on Operator IX, be ready for a slog. Phase 2 has a couple new mechanics in 2.0. a) you can only pick up 2 color circles per person (not a huge issue) and b) during color circle phase, the boss is sending out very high raid wide damage (we have 3 sorc puddles down, with three well geared sorc healers (full 69+ augmented), and we still struggled to heal through it). Good luck with it!
  20. I know the cap is being removed, but I think it's important to say that classic comms gear is too expensive right now. And before people jump on me for being a noob, I have a toon in mostly elite gear as my main. I just want to level and gear up sniper, but getting black hole gear takes too long, and rakata gear, while useful, isn't going to get me through the 55 fps in all cases (some of the bonus bosses are pretty staunch gear checks). It takes 150 comms to get a chest piece. I honestly argue it should be more like 80. Yes, I know classic comms are easier to get then black hole comms were. But black hole gear is no longer that useful. Just my 2 cents. And yes, I'm sure other topics exist on this, but I did see one on the first three pages, so here we go.
  21. The fight interesting or fun? Gear drops make it at all worth doing?
  22. This is just for record keeping if the OP decides to keep track of that.
  23. Disney has 86'd Lucasarts. We all know that Lucasarts has struggled to, by itself, put out quality games of late (Force Unleashed II, looking at you), but still a shame to see the company go under.
  24. Disagree whole-heartedly. Having mods at small intervals allows you to gear up overtime slowly as you level. By comparison, having spread out intervals would actually make it harder to gear up, since you'd more or less have to improve all at once.
  25. Fantastic guild that got me back into playing SWTOR after a six-moth hiatus. Guild runs a raid for both new and high gear 50s nearly every night. The officers and ops leaders do a great job of getting people into raids. There's usually a few people on the Mumble during non-peak hours to hang out with as well. Additionally, this guild has helped me figure out the best way to gear. Honestly this guild is the probably one of the few reasons I'm still playing this game. It's made SWTOR fun again. If you want to do PVE endgame, this is the best guild to check out.
