  1. Congrats Uncharted! Also, big ups to Reign! Just checked in to see how the server was going! Glad people are still kicking down doors. Best of luck with 2.8, gents!
  2. The Nightmare Buff removed the increased damage. It however did not remove the extra HP. Frankly, I'd almost prefer it would stay this way. However, this is, by definition, and oversight, as the nightmare buff was supposed to affect HP.
  3. I don't see how what he said and what you inferred are connected.
  4. Congrats Uncharted for Server First! Well earned! That fight is very tough! Just dropping by to wish everyone the best of luck with NiM DF. I am moving on the Shadowlands and FRE is disbanding. If any FRE players apply for your guild, give them a shot. Their hard working and very talented. Best guys I've ever raided with! Take care!
  5. Heading over to Shadowlands for a more apt server to my playstyle. I've had a ton of fun competing with you guys for server firsts. Best of luck to all the PvE guilds!
  6. bad website link? Edit: yeah, too many r's
  7. Just a heads up why we haven't been posting. We haven't attempted Draxus in a while just because a lot of people are busy with projects and such. We're going to get back in to it hopefully next week. Best of luck all.
  8. Grats Reign, well done. We're still working on getting that Wave 5/6 transition down. 8-people make it tough just because it's hard to prioritize. Don't know when we'll get back into it, but I'm sure we'll get it down at some point.
  9. Terro: You're thinking of either wave 4 or 6, methinks Phase 5 is 2 corruptors in back, 4 dispatchers, 3 bulwarks, and the boss. On 8-man, you can get ripped apart very quickly.
  10. Yeah, we're hitting Draxus tonight. In our couple looks, it looks like 8-man's chokepoint is Phase 5. Very tough phase.
  11. Right now, our schedule is in a state of flux. However, our first raids of the night generally start anywhere form 7:30 at the earliest to 9:00 at the latest, depending on people's schedule. We prefer to start around 8:00-8:30 Often times, we start a second raid around 9:30 or 10, depending on what the first raid is and when it finishes. If the first raid is a HM DF/DP, we usually finish around 9:30, as we are quite adept at clearing, and we'll often flip to the other one and maybe swap other people in. If the first raid is Nightmare content, we usually use up the whole night on it. However, players not running nightmare content are encouraged to try to run something HM to get gear an experience.
  12. We just went in to do Nefra tonight. Didn't plan to do anything else, only took a couple looks at Draxus http://www.twitch.tv/dbsmiley/c/4033403 Acheivement: http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/648997/module_gallery/original/1772199.jpg Killtime in vid: 12:13:26 UTC = 8:12:26 EDT (p.m., of course)
  13. There are several guilds on server. Right now, it seems there are more active Imp-side raiding guilds (at least, with respect to nightmare). I really only know about impside guilds, so I'll try to summarize. <Fear Remains Eternal> is more of a hardcore raiding guild. We haven't done really any SMs much lately just with trying to finish NiM S&V before 2.7, but we are regularly doing HMs (at least one per night) and working towards 16 mans (though at most we'll probably do those once or twice a week once they get going). That said, right now, because of our numbers and where the guild is at overall, we're really trying to limit our recruiting to people that are Hard Mode DF/DP ready. In short, if you aren't at least in 69s/72s, it's going to be hard to get into raids with us. I know that sounds harsh, but our member base right now has really nothing to gain from running SM content in gear or in ability. We unfortunately don't runSMs to gear people up for that, just because we generally raid once a night and try to get the most gear out of each raid (though several nights we'll run both DF and DP consecutively, so plenty of gear is distributed). Our application is at our website if you're interested (just click <Fear Remains Eternal> in my signature). Also, if you want to PvP, we're associated heavily with the guild <Vicious>/<Shots Fired> which is just a fantastic PvP guild. That said, most <FRE> members are pretty strictly PvE raiding. We don't really do a lot of flashpoints or other things. If your more interested in 16 mans, <Reign> is probably a better bet, as we tend to focus on 8-mans. I don't know much about their internals, but they get results and are far and away the best 16-man raid team on server right now in terms of accomplishments. <Sithhiker's Guide to the Galaxy> and <Umbra> are also very successful guilds, and have been able to clear all HM content. I don't know what they're schedules are like, but they seem to run very regularly. I usually see a bunch of them in operations. Both guilds get results, and my guess is they probably have HM DF/DP on farm at this point. I'm sure I'm missing some guild, so apologies. Also, I just don't really know how Republic side is setup right now and which guilds are active because I'm never on it.
  14. Hey guys, Dulfy just put her Nightmare DF guides up. They are really in-depth and solid. I've been using them to plan our strats. Just wanted to give everyone else a fair chance to do the same. Let's go get those Nightmare titles! Good luck to all the raiding guilds!
  15. First, I completely understand if these vids don't count towards "progression" tracking. Rules are rules, so what follows is a justification of why I posted them, not an attempt to change the rules to get credit. I find it perfectly acceptable if you don't put the "bubbles" in for 16 man on account of these videos. To claify, Zei is Jass whose been running with us a while now (part of 6/7 of our Nightmare S&V kills on her toons Luce and Jass as well as our TFB title run). We're actually adding that toon to the guild, but I agree retroactive shouldn't count. Just letting you know when you see that toon in future raids I can crossreference each person in Vicious Rhinoceraptor -> Beat (Primary Progression Offtank) Auvric -> Ozem (Primary Progression DPS) Tamarack -> NickC (hasn't been on previous runs with us, but is in guild) Sylents -> Rivv. Sylents will be his main raiding toon with us, but it is also his main PvP toon, so it's going to be in for both cases. Each of these people has run raids with us before, will run with us again. The only pugs were Khrosis and Waffle (who used to be in IH). But given this, we have 14 regular raiding. I do see your argument, and if Vicious were running with other guilds, I would consider it 100% fair reason not to include these completions. However, when Vicious does do PvE, they've been doing it with us (West'n, Rivik, Ozem, and Beat have become regular members of Nightmare raids and each have at least one toon in <FRE>). It's your call, but that's my argument. West'n has Fiona in our guild. Ozem has Ozem. Beat has Beat. Rivik has Valeryus. In the future, we will try to get people to use those toons in our 16-man runs.
  16. <FRE> has begun doing 16M HM DF/DP. Better late than never, I guess. Note a lot of guys in our guild have alts in Vicious, which is why you see the name a lot (this was mostly an alt run). In terms of true pugs, we had only two: Khrosis and Waffle'slasher. Thanks for the help guys. 17. Fear Remains Eternal is actively recruiting DPS and Healers and is considering running 16-man raids in the near future. Apply at fearremainseternal.enjin.com
  18. Dread Master Styrak is Dead! <FRE>, for however brief a time, has cleared all existing 8-man content in the game! http://fearremainseternal.enjin.com/gallery/m/20680623/detail/180794#pid=1765395 Video coming soon! The winning party! http://fearremainseternal.enjin.com/gallery/m/20680623/detail/180794#pid=1765407 The Nightmare Team that cleared and helped with S&V: (apologies if I left anyone out) Alcatraz Angeleyes Beat Gloom Jaereck (Maereck) Jass'odan (Luce/Zei) Lucifus Ozem (Auvric) Ragden Rivik Sessy Smiley Sound (Magical) Sto'euler'rilex Urai-fenn (Jace) West'n (Fiona)
  19. Oh, the other thing to watch out for on Olak: the Artillery droids do a TON of damage just pew-pewing, not even counting their lightning balls. Have your healers be ready.
  20. We have chained manifestations going down, the problem is it's VERY rng heavy. One resist here or there and it's a wipe. Basically, we need perfect precision and a little luck to get it down.
  21. Congrats Reign! That is a fantastic job! Very hard fight. Olak shouldn't give you much trouble, the biggest thing to watch out for is in Phase 1, after the sixth coin, tell your melee to take that round off, because the body guards have flame sweep which does 10s of K damage on 8-man, so probably even more on 16. Cartel Warlords is the next "hard" fight.
  22. Just a head's up. FRE is going for broke on Styrak this week, so we'll be running a lot of nights if people want to watch our twitch feed.
  23. I was thinking of creating a time-trial thread to compliment guild progression. Basically, guilds would compete to get the best time on operations. Here were the rules I was thinking of: 1) Full video of the run must be used. Twitch recommended. The reason for this is simple, while a screenshot shows you killed a boss, it doesn't show a continuous run. Other possibilities would be a screenshot with something like a verified internet timer for each boss, but in my view, that is honestly harder than video, and has a potential to be used to cheat. Thus, if it were up to me, video and video only. 2) Time starts when the first boss is engaged (basically, the frame where the yellow "caution" icon becomes the red "engaged" icon). Time ends when the final boss dies and the "engaged" icon deactivates. 3) Runs must be continuous. You are allowed to make substitutions, but the time it takes to swap players in and out counts against your time. You cannot "pick up later." It must be one continuous run. 4) Each guild can account for one time. (I.e., if <FRE> runs a 1hr6min on NiM TFB, then later we run a 1hr5min, the 1hr6min time is removed from the board). This includes joint operations (for hypothetical example, if Sithhiker's and Reign were to work together on HM S&V, that time would count as both Sithhiker's time AND Reign's time). Would people be interested in this as a way to spice up the summer lull before new operations hopefully this fall?
  24. I literally can't think of a better reason to judge someone.
