  1. Glad I was able to inform those that were really curious Any who, I know not everyone wants to know some people's personal reasons as to why they do something, hence why at the end of my post I thanked people for reading it, not everyone will read it and thats fine with me, it's certainly not mandatory to do so lol
  2. I come to visit these forums every 3 days or so just to see how the community feels about swtor's current state of PvP. It still seems really bad of course, most if not all feed back is ever positive, in fact, I don't believe I've seen a post yet defending the current 2.0 changes stating they are satisfied and people should learn to play and blah blah blah. I followed the development posts before this 2.0 patch went live and the class forums for selected classes I cared to maintain playing. I came to the conclusion that the game wasn't in a state for me to pay $15 a month for yet. However, I do certainly hope they make some REAL adjustments in PvP though. If the changes were good enough to warrant paying for a subscription again, myself and many others I personally know would give it a shot yet again. It just seems their dropping the ball a lot, specifically with this patch - and despite all the constructive feedback from the community on these changes, so much wasn't done. Is there anyone that is happy with recent changes to PvP, their class in relation to PvP? I used to play Knight/Jugg, but I stopped because I didn't want to play Sweep/Smash monkey and I truly wanted to tank in PvP, which is extremely brutal half the time and a thankless job. My last main before leaving was Shield Tech Vanguard, I enjoyed it pre-patch but I didn't hear good feedback Post 2.0. Essentially, is there yet any reason to resubscribe to this game for PvP?.. I play multiple online games and I don't do the PvE content unless the PvP content is very good. Which I have to say when I started playing this game back in Beta and I'm a founder of it, It was the BEST questing experience I ever had in a MMO. Just everything went down hill for me on the PvP scale of things. Other games I'm still subscribed to anywhere from 4 to 12 years now because the PvP content kept me and so many others ensnared. Well, thanks for reading my posts and looking forward to the feedback if anyone has any on the questions I asked
  3. Put Heat Blast/Energy Blast back to a solid on use ability instead of feeling like retaliation/riposte and were golden probably. According to the devs their keeping an eye on it. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=602200
  4. Yes, Sorcs/Sages can purge some cc effects if not all. But thats not accounting the rest of the AC's. Also keep in mind you as well have a 1 min CC on companions, in addition you can cleanse your own companion to put the fight in your favor. I finished speaking to a friend of mine however that mentioned they are removing companions from world pvp - if this truly is the case, I'd like to see how this will happen.
  5. This post is basically about the Crowd Control “CC” used in World PvP with companions. Currently as it stands companions really don’t have a resolve bar nor do they obey the “Player” rules of long CC’s lasting lesser time. For example if a class such as a Shadow/Sage/Commando/Scoundrel etc. Uses one of their 1 minute long CC’s on YOU as a player, the effect is only 8 seconds. However in a “World PvP” situation the companions CAN be and are CCed for the extensive duration of the ability. Is there any plans in the future for a change for this? If all things were perfectly equal perhaps this change may not be needed so much, but some AC’s such as myself “Guardian/Jugg” does not get 1 minute long CC’s in World PvP combat fights. Where other players that can do this can take a 2v2 “player w/ companion” combat down to a 1v2 with one CC spell/ability. I know for Illum they are removing companions from that part of the zone, but lets take into account on PvP servers there’s other places/worlds where this takes place. To put it simply, some AC’s have a clear advantage over other AC’s simply by this mechanic – will there be any implantation of a CC break effect for companions? .. Hopefully so. Treating companions like players “obeying the CC rules” will help largely in world PvP and would be a great step in the right direction. Another “Band-Aid” solution could be to give all AC’s a 1 min CC like the others in fair turn to make the fight a 1v1 combat instead of 2v1 for these classes giving them a quick but yet unfair advantage based on one skill that cannot be broken or ignored for your companion. Thanks for reading this – I hope to see positive things in the future.
  6. And still yet.. 0 response from Bioware. No Customer feed back about these kind of issues. Hell they don't even have to necessarily agree with what many are saying, just acknowledge the fact that they are listening to their paying customers. At least if they gave feed back on things rather if we like it or not we can determine from there if some of us are still interested in staying based on what BioWare wants for their game.
  7. yeah - Dispatch for Guardian "active on targets 20% hp or less" 60% of the time doesn't even hit the target. Not that it misses due to hit% or anything, its just that it shows the animation and stuff but doesn't really work and yet it still expends the resource "3 focus" which is 25% of my resource bar just gone for nothing. Also instant ability's and ability's off global cool down does not activate properly. Most of the time when I try to interrupt a target for example with "Force Kick" I have to hit the key 6 times before he'll actually use it. The UI is NOT very responsive, feels more slow at times - and I do not lag at all and have very good frames.
  8. The Loot system is retarded - if your wanting PvP gear, expect to put in A LOT of time. I have a friend that PvPs 6 hours a day at 7 days a week. He's also one of the first top 5 people to hit 50 on my server, his valor rank is in the 60s "cant remember exactly" he has gone through TONS of bags and hes very rarely had drops from his.. mainly tokens at 3 each for T1. I hate the system and its very disconcerting. Its a huge grind fest, at least for me the gear is just there to help improve what I already like to do. By having to grind out weeks or even months for a set of "alright" PvP gear just to compete fairly is absurd.
  9. Bioware has no plans on changing anything class wise. They have never given feed back on class issues even since beta. Personally I think Bioware is happy where all the classes currently are. I do not agree with it however, I feel the exact same way you do about many classes. The classes need adjustments and you will not see Bioware comment on any matters like this. So its safe to assume their fine with it. Also, I don't know how much EA has in all this but keep in mind they could be the fall of this game IF it stays on its current track. Only reason half the people I know are staying right now is "Hope" they will make the proper adjustments in class balance so the game can run as smooth as possible. Good Luck with that though
