I'm on Wound in the Force and plan on waiting to see how this all plays out. I do have a question though. Maybe I'm missing something,but on the server transfer page,http://www.swtor.com/transfer it says selected orgin and selected destination servers. In the list of given servers how do you know which are orgin and which are destination?

This is getting ridiculous. Hey,I understand new releases go through a period of frequent patching to work out bugs. I don't have a problem with that. What I have a problem with is BW continuing to impact the same time zone's prime time exclusively. Just plain BS. Many other MMO's rotate their maintance times to avoid impacting the same people over and over. That pretty much keeps everyone happy through the first few months of a release. How bout it BW..is it too much to ask?

Yep,that's correct. Of course my guild mate didn't believe me and insisted I try again solo while he watched. Same result; and he said ***?!,lol. If it's not a bug all I can figure is there is some small obscure requirement/task that everyone does without knowing it which I didn't do. Thing is,my MO is to do all the planet content and before moving on to the next planet I make the rounds for all the datacrons.

Problem solved but not fixed. Obvious work around (why it took me so long to think about it,idk). Grab a friend,guild mate,or even /general for some1 to deactivate the shield for you. Takes what....10 minutes of someone's time. Datacron mine,lol.

I'm having a problem with this one too. After I hit the first switch that locks me in and starts the gas I run and activate both vent switches,but the force field on the south door will not de-activate. I've tried activating the near switch first then the far one,then far one first,then the near one. I've tried doing one,then looking at the door,etc. Heck, I even tried making sure all the non-combative droids were dead first. Nothing works. LOL, I must have watched every walk through utube vid a dozen times,even stepping through them a few frames at a time. 10-15 failed attempts,I give up. Server: Wound in the Force

LMAO,this thd is gaining a new page about every 4-5 mins. I just read the BW response and all I can say is "unbeliveable". I had such high hopes for this game too. Has plenty of content and a decent storyline for a new release.Lots of stuff to do. I'm no graphics engine guru by any means,but after reading the tech excuses regarding high res even a laymen such as myself can call BS. When this game came out I put FFXIV out of it's misery.Played that from beta and gave them a whole year to add some content. What little they did add(so far) doesn't reflect a whole lotta thought it seems. Sure has gorgeous graghics and seamless zones though,hummm,why is that? I don't blame the Dev's...I blame the "bottom line is everything" beancounters runnin the show. Golden Rule: product first,bottom line takes care of itself

This is basically one my rigs except MB is P8P67 DLX,CPU cooler is H70,GPU is MSI 570 Twin,case is CM HAF932. Am also running at 4.4Ghz. I throughly stress tested this rig,and have been running this game maxed out without even a concern until the last patch.Never bothered to check temps after the testing. Since the last patch my GPU fans will sometimes noticeably spin up but never to max. Depends on where i am ingame of course. Never did that before the patch. I ran across this thd tonight at work. Guess I'll do some testing in the next day or so,/grin.

I'm sittin here at work watchin all this and just lmao. This is insane. I'm the only one in my group of friends that has the game already.The rest will start on the launch date. We had a server picked out and as I watch this circus I've been firin off emails to them sayin: "forget that server it's full,pick another. Done 4 emails already,the last saying:they're all full! Now a few more servers online.Wonder how long they will last. I'm so glad I only went as far as the "pick server screen" this morning. 15 mins after I originally posted this "Infinite Empire" is already @ Heavy.

Have you looked @ server status lately,lol. 90% of them are very heavy to full right now.Probabaly gonna get worse.

I recieved 2 emails today the latter which contained a new code(not the pre-order one i got before). Is registering the code the same as redeeming the code? I tried to redeem it on the acct page but said it was invalid. I've also not seen anything that prompts me to set up payment. I am able to launch the game though. I think I've done everything correctly,but I'm not sure anymore.

This is all very informative and much appreciated.Thanks to all contributors. I'm an old gamer just coming off ffxi (NA release)and the highly hyped and very disappointing ffxiv. I've always used a programable controller and since my son and friends decided to go with SWTOR PvP last week I been abit worried because of the lack of controller support. This thread has eased my concerns and I guess I'll resign myself to a couple weeks of relearning a new system. My son says,bout time old man,lol.
