  1. I am a healer and I don't really think they should add more medal for it. Why? Simply because they would have to add more dps medals for the same values and then your back to where you started. If we look at the diffrence between a dps and a healer. The healer got 2,5k, 5k, 75k and 300k healing medals. The dps gets 2,5k, 5k, 75k, 300k, 10 kills, 25 kills, killing blow and solo kill. A healer can usually get a killing blow without problems, (and 25 kills if you ain't stupid and want medals), but I would say that they should give kills to the healers assisting those who kill the other players. Then the only diffrence would be killing blow and solo kill and in a typical wz the killing blow is easy tog et for most people while the solo kill can be a *****.
  2. +1 - If they get the rest in smoothly and the servers will keep ut at the 20th this will be a great start for the game!
  3. Haven't seen any information on it, but I think it would be strange if there was a lot more preorders in december. The reason is that anyone that has been a fan of the game have probably already preordered it and the ones who doesn't care too much will most likely wait for christmas. Of course there is also those who didn't check out the game before it was december, like me..
  4. Bocefas, you didn't click the link i posted I assume? They are adding more waves than planned and I don't think they are leaving a small group of late december people out tbh. I also think they want to give everyone 5 days because of all the whiners around here. But we'll see, I'm happy with getting in before the weekend.
  5. Just me who thinks everyone will be in by the end of the day? Yesterday they went from 28/7 to 3/10 and there should also be a small peak at the release date in late september. Now after wave one we almost hit november and they also said that they will be inviting more people today. (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=26745) 12/12 - Keeping my fingers crossed (And finishing all work I should be done with before SWTOR is going to steal all my time) -Phail
  6. I'm not on twitter, but it's probably right. There might be one more wave when the US folks comes home from work etc, so they can get a picture of how those servers are running, but wouldn't count on it. If this was the final wave for today I doubt they will get everyone in tomorrow. There is a slim chance since the peaks ate a lot of invites (atleast the first one), but still I'm counting on Friday myself. 12/12 ftw.
  7. They have not yet said that they are done with the waves for today, if we get a bonnus wave today they should be able to get in the rest tomorrow as we are past both peaks now. If they want to rush it abit so that everyone gets 5 days is another question. At this speed I would say it's almost certain that everyone is in by Friday atleast.
  8. Yep, that is the correct way to say it here in Europe.
  9. I don't understand why there is so much whining around this... The game is "released" at the 20th. That is the date they have promised you access to the game and you will have it. Still, if everyone had been starting at the same time there would probably be a lot of server crashes. (Of course they know who pre-oredered and could have taken that in account, but be realistic, there isn't a chance that it would have gone smoothly for any gamemakers) The starting zones and the rest of the leveling places would have been swarmed with people killing your mobs, taking items and so on. By releasing the game this way there will be less crashes, restarts, lagg etc. and the leveling experience will be a ton better than it would have been if everyone got in at once. The only downside is that someone can play a few days ahead of you, but to be honest, as long as they are inviting people in the order they pre-ordered it's as fair as it can get. Also, for those who might have taken a few days off to play, why would you skip work at the 13th when they have stated that you may get 5 days of early access. (Which they of course changed to 7, but thats not what they were advertising for. Just be patient, I'm sure we all have something else to kill our time with until the e-mail arrives.
  10. I actually think the Early Access is a great way to "launch" the game. Could list a few pros and cons. Pros: - Way less chance of server crash / massive lag due to the extreme amount of players thats logging in at the same time - Starting zones and questing zones later on will be less populated and give a way more enjoyable leveling experience Cons: - Won't be any race for the world firsts, atleast not a competetive one (For those few who cares about that) Also, I'm one of the later ones and I am not expecting to get an invite the first couple of days. So I'm not one oft hose who actually benefit the most from it.
