  1. have pre-mades play each other if possible. But you can't take out playing with friends in an MMO. That's pretty much the whole point isn't it?
  2. No they aren't. They are mid-close range classes who are pretty heavily gimped if kept at range. Sure they have some ranged attacks, but the classes are built to be within 10 meters.
  3. great idea. can you get people to post the server in the thread titles?
  4. Most play in the minor leagues first. Give us a minor league to get better before I have to play against Sidney Crosby. Either start giving gear with some expertise as players level or bracket the players differently. I don't expect to be dominating my PvP matches as soon as I hit 50.
  5. I'd be fine if they added them in. Just don't balance the game around them or make it the best way to get pvp gear. That's where the problem comes. Let it be a little side part of the game like space combat.
  6. Give casuals a place to pvp and this problem goes away. There is plenty of PvE content for casual players in decent gear to actually accomplish something, but there is nowhere for casual players to enjoy PvP because they are forced to play against the top PvP players who are fully geared up. They don't lock flashpoints and force players to do hardmode operations. But as it stands there is no 'flashpoint' version of PvP so we basically just can't enjoy half of the game as a casual player because we are a detriment to our team. I don't need my gear to be top quality as a casual pvper. I just want to occasionally queue up and actually have a chance to be useful. If I could play against likeminded people I would love it. Give me a bracket where I can't get the top rewards and that people using the top items can't queue for. I would love it. They have normal and hard mode PvE. I don't want to be forced into hard mode PvP.
  7. unless they change pvp gear to be on par with raid gear. Then people can actually enjoy the whole game with half the grind. Sadly, BW has no interest in cutting the grind in half. The problem is that there seem to be an awful lot of people who play for gear instead of for fun. At least MMO designers seem to think so. I got the full set in PvP before I cleared the full raid? Whatever, I still want to clear the raid. And I still want to PvP. And now I can go back and forth.
  8. But fresh 50's can progress through pve content without being forced into the raids they aren't equipped for. PvP players are just tossed in with everyone else. Basically, a new level 50 can play through PvE content designed for people at their level of progression and enjoy themselves. A new level 50 cannot PvP with people at their own level of progression. That's the real problem, not the stats. I personally don't see the need for the stat. I don't get why PvP and PvE gear can't just be equally good. The rates that you get the gear would obviously need to be worked out to be roughly equal for this to work, and that would probably be the biggest issue. I would still do both because I play the game for fun. Gear is just a means to an end. I don't mind the gear differences though because like I said I'm going to do both anyways.
  9. Were you listening to the Dude's story? did you read the part about blasters?
  10. operatives do crazy good damage btw. Keep going.
  11. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301hRMrdRboMZZbIbbdh.1 something like that?
  12. For PvE I suggest running at them with your improved movement speed, shooting them with 1 or 2 ranged abilities on your way. Explosive dart is still a good skill. Otherwise just give them a few rapid shots until you are in melee range. A snare would be nice, but a constant 15% movement increase is pretty darn nice. Instead of sometimes being 50% faster than one person like the other two specs, you are 15% faster than everyone constantly. otherwise, I would recommend you hope they change Jet Charge to a non-talent ability. I don't think they will and I don't think they need to, but it sure would be nice .
  13. I think its 24 or 25. If you go to your trainer you can change one of the dropdown menus to show all of your abilities so you know when you will learn everything.
  14. Advanced Prototype and Pyrotech are both pure DPS specs.
