  1. Holy crap!.. how did you get a gtx 700 series card?
  2. Looking at your watchmen parse, first thing I notice is how high up your strike is, counting for 8.7% of your DPS and 170 hits. You are using that too much, which tells me you are not managing or not generating your focus optimally. Input your skill tree builds into mr robot so we can analyse it.
  3. That seems low to me, i'm in a mix of colum/rakata with a handful of mods/enchancements switched and about half my gear augmented. Your stats are still significantly better than mine but on the operations dummy im about equal on dps. I would say you have a good 200 str and 50 power over me, everything else is about the same. That being said im using rakata power adrenal and a campaign power relic. Where are you getting your dps and what are you using to get it? Also over what time period?
  4. I imagine a game along the lines Demon's Souls or Dark souls would make for a pretty epic mmo, imagine the pvp..
  5. It's going to be hard to tell if he can't play it.. I think something around an AMD 6850 should do the trick.
  6. Here ya go.. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/330?vs=305 Seriously it's over 20%... I was being quiet reserved in my estimations.
  7. I'm a big believer in supplying proof, so I'm happy to do so. Here you go... http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/443?vs=203 Note* couldn't pick the 3930k, so had to go with it's big brother 3960k and I know thats faster, but it's the same architecture and performance isn't that much different. Results really speak for themselves.
  8. Partly right but you are misinformed on much of your opinion on this. Firstly, the CPU in question is dramatically faster than anything AMD produces, in a game like this the phenom x6 would be no faster than a phenom x4 due to the poor thread optimisation in this game. Considering the S2011 cpu's are a good 20% faster than S1155 cpu's (think i5 2500k) you can expect anywhere from 40-60% better performance from the 3930k than a Phenom X6. That's not biased, or opinion that is fact, and I suggest you do further research on these cpu's. Also, the 560ti is about 20% slower than a 580, again that can be the difference between making a game unplayable on max settings to making that same game run smooth as silk. You certainly pay a price for the 580 though and if I was spending that sort of money and I needed a GPU right now I'd be looking at a 7970 from AMD.
  9. Granted i'm not lvl 50 yet, but what I have been doing is run in without using force leap ( or whatever the sith one is), then get knocked back, then use force leap, you are still getting your bonus that way, just means you have to actually run into the fight.
  10. It means his Sentinel servers are always up.
  11. Goto documents, then swtor, then screenshots. And yes you use the prtscr (print screen) key to take screenshots.
  12. ^ that is simply not detailed enough... running performance monitor hdd monitoring is not that simple, and is definitely not for amateurs.
  13. That 10% is massive e-peen you know..
  14. Party with friends/guildies.. if you don't have any, meet some. Find the good people in parties, talk to them and add them, try and party up with them again later.
  15. Mines basically instant, mind you I have an SSD. Anyway point is, it's your system not the game.
  16. I dunno, i picked up a couple oranges now that have had virtually no armor. I assumed it must scale with mods too, so I took all my current mods out of the armor I was wearing and placed them in the new armor. Not only did the old armor not change, neither did the new armor. Just to recap, Armor ratings did not change removing/adding mods.
  17. Why is there no talk of AMD cards in here? They are proven to have better FPS in this game. If you are buying a card primarily for this game you should be looking at an AMD, something along the lines of a 6950 would do you very nicely. And i'm not a fanboy, I own a GTX 480, but facts are facts.
  18. Less QQ more Pew Pew.. No but seriously you can skip the cutscenes if you like, you even have the option to auto-skip in menu. You very quickly start to have significant quests that aren't simply go kill 10 rats and come back, the game builds up. It sounds to me like you are still on your starting world.
  19. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
  20. Lol you bought an AMD bulldozer... no way your seeing 100+ fps with a 470 @ 1080p.
  21. Should have received mine yesterday but there was a mixup at the post office.. Friend got his CE yesterday though. Other friend is having to wait till after christmas because he chose cheaper shipping.
  22. You could try turn down your clocks until you get into the game, then put them back once your in. I agree though a loading screen that doesn't use so much resources would be good. Don't know if others have noticed this but just sitting in the loading screen the ram usage climbs and climbs... wait 4 hours and its starting to get pretty high. I have seen SWTOR using over 1gb of system ram just sitting in queue.
  23. I have a slightly better system than you and I'm seeing slow down on corruscant at the black suns taxi rank, so I can't imagine your system eating this game. That being said for the most part I seem to get between 70-100fps. I would say if you want to play this game smoothly in all situations an i5 2500k should be the minimum.
  24. It's the unofficial Australian server, so expect queues almost 24/7.
