First time in an MMO?

Remaining unsubbed. Story was alright, just left half the classes in an awkward position of "But I'm not Force Sensitive..." so play Force user or gee tee eff oh. But the rest of the game, just literal rehashes of 3.0 with only minor content. I'd equate the star fortresses and uprisings to be... half a regular Flashpoint at this stage. Simply not enough content. If Bioware wants to go back to Star Wars single player, kill the servers already and stop jerking us around.

It's been like this for a couple days now, restarted, repaired, what have you. Can I just say your launcher has been the single most trying, infuriating thing to deal with? Every time a patch happens it's something new or bizarre, and the thing that get's me is, I would actually come back to the game more frequently if I didn't suddenly get a thought in my head 'Oh right I have to deal with this spawn of the unholy black abyss programmers loosely call a launcher.' If someone could tell me what's up and/or if there are romance bugs with Vette, please let me know.

Swtor isn't canon at all anymore since Disney bought it, or a little time after the Great EU Purge.

I heard Wildstar was doing really well with that whole challenging thing.

Are people really still throwing that 'durr easy solo content means they won't know how to function in FP/OPs' myth around? There's some really stupid arguments in this thread, mostly by people who think making things harder will magically make the game better. All it smacks to me is of individuals wanting to put up barriers so they can have fun in the sandbox all by their few numbered selves.

20 is a few? Especially when you really don't like PvP? That being said, it is optional, and I doubt 4x will have any story, just another doll to have pew pewing next to you.

It's the same terrible launcher with a new skin. The new skin is nice, granted, but I still can't change the directory of my install like I could with the Blizzard launcher among other things. And I'm sure it will still take 45 minutes to 'recompile' data with every minor hotfix patch.

Yeah, MMO's are not meant to be a substitute for 'real' communities like neighborhoods, towns, cities, etc.

Repairing was a problem? I couldn't walk 200 yards without tripping over a medical droid in any world.

Are you kidding me. I came from healing WZ's to tanking them, and the game practically rains medals down on me while I dps and guard. Pretty sure I got one just for queuing.

Or if you are doing nothing but healing, which will net you only two medals tops.

Clearly, the issue here is that you should have taken a break from the mindless, skilless, role of a healer and did your job -correctly-. Like DPSing in your heal spec. Oh, the tank you were healing died while you were Back Blasting someone? Should have been healing him foo.
