As a minstrel in daoc, I am going to have to disagree with that mez comment just because I had the best "group" purge in the game. Our group gets mezzed? Release frost stallion and watch it aoe break the mez on us lol.

This is not correct. I wish it would count to towards to protection but it is healing. Verified by one of two ways. Huttball shield yourself once and cast no other shields or heals and die in fire. You will have 2500+ healing. ALso if you are shielded or shield a target and get hit by an attack for 2500+ you will get the 2.5 k healing medal. You might be thinking of the Jedi Shadow or equilvialent

You can do this but it is not as safe as just mounting on your speeder. If you dimiss your companion and get jumped by enemy player.. Also on your spec, I would spec out of valiance and put the the points into 20 percent bigger shield. Another idea is simply to q for some warzones to get your levels up by one or two levels to make it easier and also have your warzone point to buy for your level 40 gear for both you and your pet.

I am at lvl 38 and Its not 1500..it more like 2500+. How can I be sure? Go to any warzone and do no heals other than force armor and you will get the 2.5k heal medal quickly enough. I think force armor should count toward "protection" for more medals in a warzone but it is counted as healing instead
