I am also on y way out the door. All crafting items removed from sale and mothballed, CC's spent in a flury and Just gonna PVP my way out of my ending sub on my Merc. I have completely min maxed my madness Sorc but its one foray into ranked demonstrated to me that I could only ever be a liability to a ranked group due to relative class limitations. I tried it directly after a reg WZ where I was top damage, top healing and top objective score. The disparity between classes now is greater than it has ever been. There is no new content only rehash and reskin. I will no longer pay them to disappoint and marginalize me.

Grabbing every last dollar on the way out. New players won't notice the lack of content and will help balance the unsubs who realise that the fat lady is clearing her throat.

Exactly this! there was so much that could have been done with it there just seems to be no interest in the content developers to break from the uncompromisingly mediocre AKA Cartel pack comfort zone

There is no truly difficult solo content anymore and there is no solo content that drops anything other than trash as a reward. They have no imagination, no drive, no inspiration no verve in their content. Everything is just meh. Start new master mode content Finish new master mode content without ever being in actual danger of losing Take rewards to vendor as they are miles behind what you are already wearing Wait another 3 months until new master mode content. I would be up for the solo pvp thing though and think it would contribute to overall gameplay if players were more attentive to heads up combat strategy.

Back in the day I had her geared out (before they took the fun out of companions) and would use her to kill other players Seriously! A proper master mode, paint the walls red, solo mission! That is what we want with maybe a reusable stim/ buff as a reward for master mode completion. Something with imagination! Fights that you have to think your way through. That is what we want.

A whole 2 minute cutscene and hey presto! Andronikas Revel is returned. Do you even care anymore? Are you winding the game down? Imagine calling that an update! Let me tell you "developers" something. To get my Ashara back I'd better have to storm Septic the Hutt's palace and butcher his entire army, retinue, family etc. at a level of master mode solo difficulty that requires a shower afterward. This last thing? This was a disgrace. You should be ashamed.

Ok so I am an inquisitor and I completed KOTET and KOTFE etc ages ago I have updated and do not see any mission to acquire A. Revel Is there some special place to pick it up? What am I missing?

Anybody else getting lag issues when they are in warzone on Satele Shan? It has reared its head as a problem for over the last few days to the point where I am getting short screen freezes and even kicked out on a few occasions. I have a 1Gb connection and no other application or device on my network is giving me issues so I am certain that it is not on my end. It only happens during pvp. I also know that there were some latency issues over the moving of the server to the East coast but that just moved it closer to me. Anyone?

The sad truth of this game is that its most fun element is lowbie pvp.

We all have them so feel free to add yours. I will get the ball rolling: Players who spend the entire warzone wandering around being cool in stealth doing almost nothing to help their team. Players who run away from a node in case they have to guard it, leaving it open. Players who run away and surrender a node rather than die defending it to the last. Players who cost you the game by insisting on trying to 3 cap and then leave the warzone when it all goes **** up:mad:

Ranked is primarily full of people who need to feel special and have no outlet for this in real life. I have BIS across the board and I wouldn't go near it. The level of stress these people seem to have over a game is quite frankly bizarre. In many ways it would be fun to troll them by playing a madness Sorc there but one of them would probably go shoot up a pre school as a result. I have seen abuse directed towards myself and others in plenty of regs and at the time I always think "If they typed less and fought more.....". Usually, these people are not top of the charts by any metric at the end of the game. I had one game where based on my class I had 2 nimrods whining about my presence affecting their ability to win. We won. I had highest medals and more importantly objectives score and had done more damage than both combined. One was a sin tank and had done zero protection (***?). My point is that games are meant to be fun. These people find fun to be an alien concept and you are much better off not engaging them as you will have no common frame of reference. Leave them in ranked where they can continue their festering mutual appreciation, clinging fervently to their pointless virtual rewards in a manner that would make Gollum mock them.

The problem as I see it is that players compensate by putting all their points into survivability. Other dps classes get to put their points into increased damage and utility. This creates a clear deficit between Sorcs and other ranged DPS which also have much better defensive cooldowns and better armour and armour penetration. The imbalance is ridiculous.

Thank you for taking the time to explain the shortcoming of my own class to me in a thread I created about ...... I did however like your inference that the Devs need to L2P. I personally think they need to learn to do their job. I have spent a lot of money on this game and they are not providing value for it. If you wish to be an apologist for what they have done and continue to do whilst being paid for it by our money, then I am sorry but you and I have no common frame of reference to discuss the subject matter and should not engage on the topic further.

If he takes of his glasses he won't be able to see" The original poster has a point which relates more to a group composition which we will be seeing more of in every war-zone soon The oxygen thief that continually argues with him is a pedantic Troll. If you are a DPS Sorc that is being continually marginalised: It occurs to me that one funny way to make a protest is to Queue for Solo Ranked. The level of outrage from this select & highly strung group would be heard far more clearly than anything from the Sorc community. Basement dwelling PVP superstars would be screaming at the Devs that their games are being spoiled and rankings interfered with by unwelcome Madness and Lightning Sorcs. This alone would a tremendous source of amusement. Make our pain.....their pain.

Update: I took my assassin out of storage. I had originally played a tank that was set up to be completely survivability orientated. Back when the game started I would sit on snow etc and scream like Ned Flanders when I had incoming and basically not die before help came. It was actually very effective if boring and stressful at the same time. In advance of 5.3 changes I either made or bought a full set of 246 armour/equipment and ran a few WZ's to get the feel. I started with Deception. To be completely honest, I was like Bambi on ice skates but holy hell as a DPS I did 985K protection as well as comparable damage to my Madness Sorc!! That is insane! It did feel very clunky and overly busy using my Naga but that will improve in time. My Sorc is 95% BIS anyway so they can shove their stealth nerf. I am gonna feel the power for a while. Damn!

I am in the minority on Bolster. I was against it when it was introduced and I am against it now. All it does is increase the advantage of any FOTM class so that even when not geared the can wreck all round them . It also occurs to me that it Bioware could individually adjust the bolster level for each class as a temp fix for balancing issues but that would be far too simple a fix for them and I strongly suspect that rotating FOTM classes is and always has been their model. There is 7 years of evidence to support this view.
