  1. Not every player is able to PVP. That is why they go to a PVE planet. PVP players are always going on how it is so much harder and thus better way to play. Then why on earth would you want to force someone who is not able to play at that level to do PVP? Does that not take away from the whole better and harder aspect of your chosen play style? They have PVP planets that have PVE quests on them. That's right, you can go to a PVP planet and still do PVE quests. I would rather have a system change that if a flagged PVP player hits PVE mob then they get to go sit in the bar for five minutes before they can flag again. Seem fair,.
  2. If we flip this around and the PVP players made a small error and had to set it out in the bar for five minutes before they could re flag as PVP how happy do you think the PVP players would be? Do you think it would be all sunshine and lollypops or do you think they would be here crying about how wrong this is and that they are paying members that should not be treated this way. Some how I don't see them just Lol and moving in the game.
  3. Playing the game that we pay to play. The world is bigger then your back yard, you are not the most important person on this or any other planet. For me the only troll post was yours. See how that works. So the name you want is taken. Find a different name and stop trying to make the world over in your own image.
  4. Because my guild is a four member one that has been active from the start. Sweep your own stoop and stop fussing about what others are doing.
  5. What? So I am able to make mounts that are as good looking as the cm? They do not sell crystals that are better than I can make? No one can make huge amounts of credits from the cartel market giving them a vast advantage on the market in buying goods? They did not kill crafting outfits by selling better looking and adaptable gear? They should change it to make it a fun side game. This change was over the top. So very many things they could do but make it a lump is not one of them.
  6. Or EA could put a "mall" listing of Strongholds and who has what for sell. I fail to see anything in general chat that is worth reading anyway.
  7. The change was to much. This did have game play potential that could have been player ran. They would have been able to turn useless strongholds into a destination for other players. It could have been a fun time waster waiting for group finder to pop. They could have limited how many coins you could run in one day. They could have put it other small items to win. They could have done many things, this was not a good one. This is another dead in the water development. I am getting tired of paying for dead content. That you are gloating makes you look petty. Pushing a button? That is what this whole game is about.
  8. Once again no. They did not need to make this huge of a change. Gate how many coins per day you can use. Make small changes to the %. Not use a sledgehammer when it call for a feather duster. As a woman in her late 50's let me clue you, cheaters are going to cheat. That is who they are. I pay to play this game with family to have fun, not worry about what Joe Blow might be doing.
  9. No, just no. "They" could have put a gate on it like every thing in this game. Make it so you could only run 200 coins (or some such) in a 24 hours. Make some small changes to drop rates. Make it a fun items to waste time with and not a driving NEED to play it and only it. So now we have another dead in the water game mechanic that I helped pay for. Wasted developer money and time. Petty players who can gloat that they won. What ever. Did you win? If we bleed players what is going to happen to your vaulted economy? I had years in DDO. This kind of silly dev reactions are why I and my guild walked away.
  10. I am excited over what could be made of this item. Let it be on par with crafting missions. It could be a social hub for players that would, you know, make the game a MMO. Hear me out, you turn your stronghold into a gambling den and sell keys to it. Players spend time with each other as they wait for missions to pop. Different paths to the same goal are good, not bad. Heck add a bar tender with a drink that has a low chance of making you more lucky for a large amount of credit and you have another money sink. This would have the benefit of making strongholds come alive for those who love that type of play. Never have just one path, more the better.
  11. I would love to opt out of pvp. If you check the box for no pvp then you could not heal, buff or harm anybody flagged for pvp. Not sure how easy or simple it would be, but I know that I would love it.
  12. I do not have the time to do this but what might work for some is a community based contest for the top ten strongholds. Kind of a Better Strongholds and Gardens. Players could submit a fraps of the Stronghold that they have and then have some kind of online vote. Might be a thing a large fan site could do. For some it matters how they look and for others not so much. I think that some things we could do for out selves and not look to EA to do for us.
  13. Not every player is a teen or young adult. In my guild we have those who have severe nerve damage, brain trauma, and other health issues. We band with each other and are on a PVE server for a very good reason. Short of having a bot the brain is willing but the flesh is not. We do not join raids or PVP. We do flashpoints and quest with each other. What makes you think you have the right to demand who can and can not play this or any game? Why would anyone who has even a drop on integrity play on a PVE server and try and force a play style. Stay off Hoth? Stay off Tat? Stay off just about most of the planets? Do not go past level 20? Why? Again, our money spends the same as yours. Jerks are jerks PVE or PVP. Do not defend PVP players who do underhanded jerk moves and maybe PVE players would not have such vocal hate for PVP players.
  14. Balderdash, players in MMO's have been doing pay to win for years and years. Only thing different now is its the company that owns the game getting the money. That is the only difference at all. The same player base who is up in arms about the company getting the money will also defend using "tricks" to do quests and when called on it say its the deves fault for doing bad code. I will say I was disappointed in the quest after dropping a cool million. I was looking for a quest for my guild to run. That is all. Someone paying cash no more effects me now then back in the day when someone paid cash to a gold farmer or cheated to "Win" a raid. It is all the same and has been around for years. If you are a long time MMO player then you already know this.
  15. Yes please. Could we have some dye sets that are not football team colors? I would love dove gray and dusty pink or lavender. How about candy apple red and hot rod blue for our speeders?
