I can only speak for myself but my feeling is currently: resignation. Player concerns were heard and addressed/ignored, depending on your viewpoint People will probably wait until next week's patch to see how they feel about the changes and go from there. I have a few goals I'm striving for, completely unrelated to CXP. I'll do those and then decide if I want to stick around. There's no point banging on about it at this point. BW are going to do what they're going to do. They'll gather their data and maybe make some more changes, in their own time, and nothing more we say about it will derail that plan.

No one's taken your experience into account? You're right. What are we all on about? Let's rethink the whole thing! I have two set pieces too, one on two different characters. Total crates earned is 23 because I don't grind **** (and the CXP system is not a carrot that will ever get me to do that). My second set piece was in my very first crate on a fresh 70. In my last crate I got a level 5 companion gift, a empty BOE lightsaber of some kind and a 228 earpiece, all useless and there have been 21 crates similar to that. Does any of that change your opinion of the system? I doubt it. And you have two set pieces at rank 10? I'm truly, genuinely happy for you and anyone else who's been lucky, but the system still sucks.

QFT. For all my effort chasing DVL legendary I have no achievements and at this point, no Master Ranos. I don't even have the credits I was meant to get for my commendations. I can't think of an expansion that landed in a worse state.

There is no way they will scrap the new system. The best we can hope for is that they listen to the feedback and make significant changes. Hoping for anything else will just lead to disappointment.

They were never going to fix this immediately. Many already think the CXP system is garbage. Coming out and calling this an exploit would only make people think they're bigger ******** than they already do.

I will never watch that scene again, simply too brutal for characters that I love. I have chosen Torian twice, once on my BH where he was the LI and once on my trooper. I guess I feel Torian is more valuable to the alliance (though with Shae Vizla companion and her Mandalorian connection, that's debatable). I also justified it with a sort of head canon where the characters truly believe they can save both. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do on other toons I take through the story. I'll absolutely save Vette on my warriors but not sure about the others.

Great post, OP. Nothing else to add except that the CXP system is a joke and after the story on a few toons, there will have to be some pretty significant changes to CXP to keep me around. I might come back when the rest of our companions do.

I'm trying not to be completely negative about this expansion and in that vein, I quite like the Uprisings. I've done all of them a couple of times and I'm hard pressed to think of a tactical FP experience that's been as quick. Perhaps I've been lucky but I've enjoyed them so far.

For mine, making it legacy wide is only a half-fix. It's the RNG that I can't stand. I think about my husband playing Destiny and coming out of a PVP match with zero rewards. This system is exactly like that, except instead doing one PVP match and getting no rewards, you have to do multiple tasks (PVE, PVP, whatever) to get from one level to the next, and after that ever-increasing investment, you get no meaningful rewards. Why the **** do you have rep tokens in these crates? Do you know how long I've been playing this game? I don't need a green Yavin rep token when I've had that rep maxed for years! I don't need an ugly, empty BOE sniper rifle shell on my BH, or any other toon for that matter! You need to implement this suggestion, or a close version of it. Simply making the current system legacy wide isn't good enough IMHO.

Signed. Initially I abhorred this idea coming into this expansion but a play through of the story changed my mind. It could be amazing if handled well.

This sort of worked for me. Fight as normal until he's in the last bubble. Hold shield up the entire time, only drop it when unity is available to use, use unity on cooldown until he's roughly 40k HP. At this point you should have 100 stacks from the shield, use the bash on him and the fight should end. The shield should keep you alive until the bash. The above worked on BH. Hydraulic overrides didn't work for me at all in the last phase.

Above post should read Chapter 3 "Outlander". Tried again on a different toon. Kicked to log in on completion. Granted story XP instead of veteran XP and didn't mark as complete on the chapter list. Didn't receive the achievement either. Totally fubar. Edit: Chapter 4 "The Gravestone" XP is bugged but achievement works

I agree with everything said. I got to 70 fairly quickly, did a couple of uprisings, played through 3 command levels (I acknowledge, a very small number), got nothing useful, logged into an alt, got screwed on XP in a veteran KOTFE chapter and just kind of sat there, disappointed and wondering what to do next. The prospect of gearing my characters through this new system is not encouraging me to keep subscribing. Undecided at this point what I'm going to do tbh.

In no particular order: Senya's face (haven't seen Lana's yet, and if you've f****d with Theron's I won't be happy) No returning companions and no information on when those companions are going to come back Bugged out veteran KOTFE chapters where I lost a mountain of XP RNG gearing. I've opened a measly 3 boxes and got nothing but my RNG luck sucks so I'm not hopeful on future boxes.
