The best fight to check people's DPS is the Council. In the future you'll be able to have people parse themselves, but won't be able to parse others. -
There are 2 fights that give more loot on Nightmare. SOA and Karragga. They give a chest with their mount and 3 Columi Commendations for each member of the operation. Other than that and the titles as mentioned, there is no advantage to clearing on Nightmare other than bragging rights.

Rakata gives 112, same as Energized. You are seeing 122, due to talents or buffs.

You can't use master loot in this game because it's broken. Round Robin(Need/Greed) is the only option. You just have to trust your raid force to not be stupid, and not have auto-loot enabled.
