  1. Bob also doesn't understand why he won a fight in which he was guarded and healed throughout. There's no point in engaging with these people; their ignorance is unassailable. As Joshua said, the only winning move is not to play; make liberal use of the ignore feature.
  2. The departure of people who consistently made poor decisions despite overwhelming player feedback to the contrary is an opportunity. Different staff can now occupy those positions, for better or worse. Change was definitely needed; let's hope that it's for the better.
  3. Huttball lover reporting in. Stunning people on the fire traps is where it's at. More warzones with environmental hazards please.
  4. Far too much attention has been paid to the scenario of people leaving warzones in progress, rather than the fact that there are certain maps and warzone types that aren't enjoyable for everyone. Perhaps a decent stopgap change would be to remove the deserter lockout if people leave BEFORE the warzone starts, until there's an actual selection mechanism that Flashpoints and other group content have. Writing "you can't force people to consume content they don't like" on a Post-it note and sticking it to a few monitors might bring some enlightenment too. You never know.
  5. Love. We need more warzones with lethal hazards. There's nothing more enjoyable than stunning someone on the fire traps.
  6. Do your best to ignore them. Frequently they themselves will have an incomplete or incorrect understanding of PvP. A common one is being told you're a noob for not having top damage -- never mind that you've scored goals in Huttball or captured positions in Civil War. Objectives are invisible to these people as they have fragile egos and their only reason for playing is to feel superior to others somehow. Don't waste time talking to them as they can't be reasoned with. Make liberal use of the ignore list and don't give them another thought.
  7. All advanced classes are there for you to play. If I want an easy life, I'll play my operative or assassin. If I get annoyed with my team ignoring healers, I'll play my sorcerer. If I want to get my *** kicked, I'll play my mercenary. Enjoy the variety offered to you
  8. Unfortunately I think the main reason everyone plays LOLSMASH spec in warzones is because it's the only viable one due to insane amounts of CC. As a Carnage Marauder you need to stay on your targets for a sustained period of time to hurt them, which just isn't possible when you're being stunned, rooted and knocked around like a ping pong ball.
  9. "Go back to WoW" is an ignorant statement. Please don't pollute this community with that attitude. It's possible to guide people without rudeness. Try it sometime. As some of the more helpful responses have said, the key to winning the fight as an assassin is interrupts. The number of interrupts you can rotate through will vary depending on your skill tree choices. Persevere and you'll do it. Good luck!
  10. It makes me feel sorry for those people. They will have missed out on a lot of enjoyable play time due to their narrow-sighted and obsessive focus on a single number. Actually, it sounds like you spend most of your time unhappy because you constantly compare your achievements with others' (hint: there will always be someone who has achieved more).
