  1. Traditionally a 16m TC group would use a single tank for the adds. Having run this a number of times on HM I have realized that during the add cycles where Saber Reflect is available the adds get completely shredded and the DPS get back to the boss quicker. The problem with this is the cool down of Saber Reflect makes it available only every other add cycle. Has anyone tried swapping an 'add DPS' for an extra Guardian tank? The benefits I would see are: 1) Adds die faster 2) More DPS on the boss 3) Extra tank in case something goes wrong below 20% 4) No need for off tanks to grab isotopes (they die too fast) 5) No issues with agro on adds 6) No need to worry about interrupt on the adds, in fact you would purposely avoid interrupting them Let me know if anyone has had the chance to try this

  3. PvP server in a contested zone... I have no problem with people repeatedly greifing me. It's my choice to be on a PvP server. I do however have a problem with the game design preventing me from fighting back or using my abilities to escape. In fact it is so poorly designed I don't even get to see myself die because the screen is black when they attack. This is poor design, it's as simple as that.
  4. It has nothing to do with being bad. Multiple level 55s camping the entrance to my class quest on Voss (I'm level 45). It is a silly mechanic seemingly designed only to grief players. What purpose does enabling players to get repeatedly killed before they can see the screen serve, besides some griefing entertainment?
  5. Why is the PvP Stealth after death not an invulnerability buff? As it stands as soon the body disappears someone can AoE the area and immediately kill the player while stealthed. And it happens even before the ridiculous black screen goes away, meaning I'm dead before my toon is controllable again. Is this really intended? If so who would allow this design to go into production?
  6. For the second week in a row I joined a Ops group finder that was half filled with a single guild. Regardless of the gear they had they each rolled need on every Arkanian piece so they can trade it to whomever really needed it. By the point this happens you are already locked, meaning you are unlikely to find another group and there is little to no chance you will get loot the remainder of the instance rolling against those odds. I propose the following changes: Reduce the trade window to 30 minutes Post a system message when a loot item is traded - This will make it VERY obvious that its going on. If an item is traded allow others that rolled need to reroll on it - The only real way to stop it.
  7. Why was this moved to suggestion box? This was a touted feature that is not working anymore.
  8. Can we have the queue priority feature back? It's getting old when people get disconnected while in istances and they are at the end of a 400 person queue. Thanks
  9. My guess is they realize that Sent is all but useless longterm without the option to shift to something other than DPS. Ask yourself this... how effective are you as melee DPS in large scale open world PvP? How many times do people call for Melee DPS for a Operation? If Sent isn't superior DPS (and I'm not calling for it to be), and it's equal or less than other classes then it's inferior because of its inflexibility. Any other class will match the DPS and have the option to tank or heal... Here is my guess: Focus and Combat get a DPS buff and Watchman becomes a melee healing class.

    Is resolve broken?

    I'm melee so I may be overly sensitive to CC because unlike ranged all CC stops our DPS. But is resolve broken? It seems like I'm getting chain stunned today. Just a few minutes ago a steather came up and stunned my, took me down to half health, I broke CC and then he stunned me again right away. Working as intended?
  11. PvE was WAY to easy in the first place. Groups are going into hard modes with greens and blues and clearing. I agree PvP and PvE should be balanced seperately but it's silly to say PvE shouldn't be balanced further.
  12. I'm feeling really weak this morning against anyone that has a bubble/shield. I'm used to getting stunned/rooted/snared/pushed constantly and the only saving grace was my ability to do lots of damage when I can get close. Either melee needs a bubble for the endless CC (ya, diminishing returns on CC seems broken) so we dont start a fight with half health by the time we can engage, or we need a DPS boost to make up for the surge nerf.
  13. It happens without a doubt. You can get 200 valor per kill every three minutes. Kill 24 people every three minutes (full ops) and you see how quick it is.
  14. Well what do you expect? The population imbalance is rediculous on most servers with Imps just camping the rebel base. War zones are bugged often giving one team 10-12 players. The barrier to entry for PVP gear is rediculous. It's faster to get BM gear than centurion once you are Valor 60. I guess the question is why wouldn't people do this since bioware has incentivized them to in so many ways.

    Game ends in 120 seconds and yes, they DO get a win. The only way they can't guarentte a win is if they start by defending Voidstar. All other maps they can easily win because they team in the lead when the game ends still wins. Even if the game ends early.

    There is a well known bug that allows more than 8 players on a team in a WZ. It is now available on demand and the Imps on my server are bragging about being able to bring 10-12 in a WZ on queue. In fact, it is now more common to get into a WZ with more than 8 people on the opposing team than 8v8.. Why hasn't this been fixed?
  18. Watchman is phenominal when it works. I feel Sentinal, and maybe melee in general, is more effected by ability delay (and other combat issues). My general feeling is that while we can put out OK DPS we are not inline with other classes abilities. Other classes have similar, if not greater DPS, but they also have greater defense, healing and utility at the same time making them all around more powerful. PvP is currently a problem because crowd control has been turned into an instant kill button. With other classes able to kill you in 6-7 GCD all it takes is one root, one snare, and one knockback and you are dead, without even getting a hit in. If they fix all of the combat/ability delay issues and give me a break CC that isn't on 2min cooldown I'd play my Sentinal more. I'm leveling a BH right now and it's like I went from playing Eve to playing Toon Town.
  19. Anyone else start having a problem since 1.1.1 where melee abilities won't fire if the player is too close? Yesterday I watch most ranged stand almost on top of me and ripping me apart and I was doing no damage...
  20. Ilum is basically two zerg groups standing 31m apart. When someone dares to get 29m they get pulled into the other zerg and die in 1 GCD, which with lag isn't even enough time to Force Leap to the poor soul that got pulled. To get credit for kills I'm spamming my 30m group buff every 10 seconds or so. Is this really what melee is relegated to on Ilum?

You gave incentive to be Empire: You have given them DPS bonuses because of bugs You helped them level to 50 faster because of XP designs You helped them own warzones because of so many 50s due to XP You helped them get them get Battlemaster faster because of so many 50s in warzones You helped them stay dominant by reducing rewards for losing team in warzones Now they dominate the population of Ilum because you gave people all of this incentive to be Empire and then designed the zone to favor population. Do you see why balance is SO important? Do you see why fixing balance issues immediately are critical?

  23. I came into a match that was 10 minutes in progress and the score was 0-5 for the other team. I quickly found out why my slot was open... The other team had the Huttball and was standing near our endzone. When players from our team would come outside of the shield the opponent with the huttball would immediately throw it to our teamates. Because the teammate was still on the ledge above the endzone it would insta-kill them and return the huttball to the opposing team. They repeated this in rapid succession... Because I never got onto the field of battle I was AFK kicked from the match so I could not grab names. Would be nice if we had in game GMs...
  24. What am I missing here? You can't force leap to them because they are behind a shield. So you run to them, all the while they are hitting you for 3k-5k. Then you get to them and you can't interrupt the attacks so they have no incentive to move. And it appears they have no distance minimum for channeled abilities so they keep hitting you for 3k-5k when you are right on top of them. And they have a knock back to boot to put you at distance again. Is this fight really designed to be this unbalanced?
