Yes the engine appears to be extremely unoptimised. Over in the customer service forum the "Horrid Fps" thread has reached its 4th iteration, with each gaining over 100,000 views. There is something drastically wrong and a failure by BW to act may lead to an exodus of those struck by this.

Maybe you should check again. Claiming 140 FPS is totally bogus when the game doesnt allow more than 111. Was hard to put two and two together I know.

Yeah I soloed it as a level 19 assassin, no medpacks or stims. Just pull down the hallway, easy as that. Plus being in tank spec helps a tad I think.

I have the exact same processor as you OP, and I was running it with 4gb of ram and a 9500gt on all low until today. Just bought a ATI 6850HD and now I can play on all high settings at a constant 60-90 fps. Dips every now and again on the fleet but it is so much better.

Mate I have almost the same specs 4gb ram Core 2 Duo 2.8ghz And I had a 9500gt Just got a 6850HD today and wowo, I have gone from 30 fps on all low and down a resolution, to a solid 60-90 fps on all high. It is definitely worth it.

Hey guys, my rig is pretty old but dont have the money to splurge on a fully upgraded model right now but was just wondering what peoples thoughts were on a potential individual parts upgrade? My system is Core 2 Duo e7400 2.8ghz 4gb DDR2 800mhz Ram 1gb DDR2 Nvidia 9500gt Now I feel that the 9500 is the definite weakpoint here, would upgrading to say the ATI HD6850 yield a significant improvement? Or is it not worth it?. Thanks everyone

Why shouldn't we? The entire package is underwhelming and in the case of the droid its blatant false advertising. The sad part is you have nothing better to do than pick fights with people who have genuine grievances.

No where did it say? The droid was clearly said to "Hover by YOUR side" which it doesnt, it can only be summoned on an enemy unit, also said to "Provide combat assistance", now not sure what your take on that is but I am fairly certain no one thought that meant circle round a creature flashing lights. Honestly I wouldnt even care if it didnt attack but it sounded at least like a vanity pet.

Should be allowed a refund on this. Terribly misleading, I only wanted the droid that was meant to "Hover by my side" and "Provide combat assistance" and guess what? it does neither of those things. Overall the items feels like little effort was put into producing them and I feel conned out of my $20.

Well it is sort of frustrating the come December the mainpage still advertised "Preorder NOW and you can get up to 5 days early access" when in reality if you preordered then you were never going to get 5 days. It is misleading.

Do you have a web browser? I would assume so. You don't need an account, for many people twitter has a simple UI and is perfect for relaying short tid bits of information in easy to read manner. Having a feed on these forums would create an influx of people creating traffic to swtor.com, already having traffic issues without that.
