  1. I've been playing MMOs long before WoW. I can see your point, but at the same time I'm willing to sacrifice the minimal social interaction for the ability to quickly play the game.
  2. And fixing it quickly. Multiple teams work on different things and they have one patch a week. This isn't news to anybody who isn't playing their first MMO. The OP seemed to be complaining they weren't adding new content/features fast enough. I was saying I'm happy they're bug squashing.
  3. Picture me saying this while casually taking a sip of beer rather than frothing with rage. I'm saying that the LFG tool doesn't make the game any more anti-social in response to you saying to be cautious of it.
  4. The Soa fix is kinda a big deal and is most welcome. In software development you fix what you can when you can. I'm actually happy they're taking time to make their existing software work before they roll out new content and features on a broken base game.
  5. Spamming general for hours isn't social. Some people want to grind dungeons without having to spam general for hours. Really groups are as anti-social as you make them, regardless of how they're formed.
  6. The existing tool is underutilized and clumsy. It needs vast improvement to allow you to queue like warzones do, except for a specific Flashpoint.
  7. I'm not saying cross-server is or isn't essential, I'm saying server-wide LFG tool IS essential.
  8. Server wide LFG tool would remove general spam with none of the cons. If you can present a viable argument against it please do so.
  9. I can find nothing wrong with your statement. I also can't figure out how you could possibly think it's a bad thing.
  10. Because running hardmodes is dumb as hell for getting loot at level 50. Let me break it down. Hardmode Flashpoints Take 1-3 hours to run Drop 1 piece of Tier 1.2 loot for 4 people Have some horribly over-tuned gear checks for PUGs to clear Drop very few Tier 1.1 tokens/pieces Normal Mode Operations Take 1-3 hours to run Drop 10 pieces of Tier 1.2 loot for 8 people Are MUCH easier to PUG in inferior gear with the exception of one or two fights Drop a LOT more Tier 1.1 tokens/pieces [/List] It's a no brainer.
  11. If you can explain to me how a server specific LFD tool will do this and roll up an Empire character on Port Nowhere I will give your new character 500k Credits.
  12. See how I dismissed your argument there? Seriously though a server wide (as in not cross server) LFD tool would do nothing but quell the general chat LFG spam, and allow the content to be more accessible by people who only have a few hours to play per night. I fail to see how this is a bad thing, and cannot understand why it's not a good compromise. The anti-LFD argument seems to be "IT KILLS COMMUNITY" either by A) grouping you with strangers or B) letting people run dungeons instead of leveling via content. In the case of A) if it was server locked you'd still have the community, and in the case of B) how does this affect you at all?
