  2. ONE place to look CAREFULLY and closely for this. LotrO Skirmish system.
  3. Fix class balancing, fix Guardian Vigi, shadow infi and certain other RNG specs. AVOID another 2.0 PTS alacrity debacle ( root of many issues today) Hood toggle ( Not holding my breath) Guild ships and guild features. Player- instanced housing. Like LotrO. A flat in Corellia would be awesome. Decorations and stuff, again like in LotrO. Cosmetic equipment system, again like LOTRO. Simple orange armor don't cut it because of the need of carrying in inventory. At least implement a "non combat outfit" mode like GW2. Those on its own would be a lot of work, so I'M stopping here
  4. Well, ofc more ppl works and most facetime is met by community team.. But it is also true all class balance changes are programmed and implemented by a single guy. He said so himself, a reasonably long time ago, after layoffs.
  5. In pvp, MS is badly implemented as it is now, with all the during cast / after cast effects it has. Root does work that out, SOMEWHAT, since a clever dude can still stun you before 3rd tick / immediately after unremitting runs out. Coz as we all know unremitting procs when you activate leap, not when you LAND from a leap. Equals 1.5 seconds loss. Anyway.... The problem with MS in pve is in its x-x-4x hit mentality, killing that 3rd tick because there is a damned red circle underneath you == Killing your DPS entirely. But if you doN't break it == You die, raid wipes. I favor alacrity bonus idea for that, since any boss will laugh at the stupid pvp root and really, a faster MS with a FIXED RNG WHICH PROCS IT ON 15 seconds would work better in pve. And pvp, mostly.
  6. That code makes hood disappear. There are already few headgears that inadvertendly does that. I've heard from dev interviews, podcasts and forums themselves that devs want what many players want. Player avatar ACTUALLY lowering/putting hood on/off. With proper animation. And without hood going away when it's lowered. Simply having the hoodless versions of armors don't cut it. It is, unfortunately, a crapshoot amount of work to implement that for existing robes AND game assets in animation perspective. So it'll take a long time, if ever.
  7. That, would require MORE than one people working on the class balancing. With all due respect to Austin, balancing this MMO requires analysts, programmers and PROPER simulators. ..........I'm beginning to suspect only 13 ppl works at Bioware Austin, and 3 of those people are Musco's team.
  8. 2.6 is the GSF patch. It was announced. THAT BEING SAID. The class balance issues were there since 2.0 launch = 9 months. Every small balance change they made, it made it worse. WORSE. You don't get to be pissy to people who raise valid points. You get to listen to them with respect, and then reply with decorum. GSF is a new feature, but nothing justifies a .x patch being this light. The worst one before this was 1.5.
  9. It killed us. Killed our STR bonus, our free blade storm, our increases to DPS. Because Focus was taking them as well, and they nerfed us both to just nerf them. Focus is the sole reason for Vigilance's misery. Both in mechanics and in the minds of devs. I've heard that devs saying "if you don't like viglace, play focus." They'd never type that in forums, but rumors do circulate after each cantina event.
  10. Tanking is strategy. It relies less on the class but more on the player's ability to strategize his/her skills and rotate taunts. Essentially, you need to first learn how EACH of your abilities work. How threat works. How taunt is used to buff threat.. After that, you apply strategy to each fight accordingly. DPS is a matter of numbers and mastering class. And Vigilance have a very high ability requirement for good DPS numbers. It'll take time if you just started. Stick with tanking. Research strategies and skills. Read up on threat. You'll do fine.
  11. And I want that "proc EVERYTIME" rating. Simple. Ours is the only RNG that doesn't proc everytime aside from Scoundrel's energy return stab-like thingy, but their entire rotation doesn't live off on that, so we need "PROC EVERY GODDAMN CHANCE" ratings. Within internal cooldown, ofc. Otherwise it'd be retardedly good

The ONLY reason why vigi is so f.....d up is that idiotic no brainer smash monkeys decimating pvp matches pre 2.0 DO NOT tell me about the lizards of Knight class. True Guardians suffered far more than any of you did because of them.
  13. Costless, castless, instant Flyby. With at least 3000% increased damage. That should solve Gunslinger's problems.
  14. Oh sure they can DPS like any other spec. But the way they can't solo an Ops, is just stupid!
  15. Dammit, they can't single handedly DPS down 8man Ops! What are you doing Bioware, why is this not fixed yet?! Buff Gunslingers by 2K-3K DPS so they don't need to recruit 3 more DPS to finish an ops!
  16. This. I , for one, am getting tired of average sentinels reaching my DPS numbers and think they are hot s...t. I'm getting tired of every slinger and their mother faceroll and still do my best of best DPS. What is so wrong with Vigilance / Vengeance vying for top spots along with Sentinels? WHAT is so frightening that they systematically buff already strong specs and leave the rest in dust? God forbid you have a balanced game, some people may actually SHOW SKILL then. After this, I've started to wait for a "Significant increase for Gunslingers / Snipers." Coz let's face it, they need at least +2K DPS boost..... ...... ..... .... To actually single DPS an 8man Ops.

Some of us have been here since; NOT launch, NOT open-beta, NOT closed-beta, but ever since the first announcement. Swtor has been dying since 2008, if I were to listen to all the naysayers. The only danger was just before f2p conversion with rapid falls in subs, but that's a long bygone danger now. EDIT: Have I mentioned how I hate forum wars? Have I? Oh well, for safety's sake. I HATE WAGING FORUM WARS: WE ALL PLAY THE SAME GAME. Dammit, sometimes you should just play. JUSt that.

You can see no one's gonna terminate the game. In fact, they were so impressed, they want more F2P models within EA assets. At this point, I'm wondering if anyone would be sad if game got terminated. Sometimes it feels only 10 people on the planet actually wants the game to continue. It's a lonely feeling. Incidentally, no one cries out for Gw2's termination, despite its now dangerously low income.
  21. I would vote GUardian.... Solely on combat technique. You want an uneducated, completely retarded brute without any Swordsmanship? Go jugg. You want a refined warrior, made of flair and charisma and forged with relentless practice? Go guardian. Guardian is THE swordsman. Jugg is just a brute with a stick. Stories are good overall. Warrior ends is very meh. Knight storyline is original KOTOR3 storyline, so it holds to that quality of Drew Karsphyn writing. Plus, David Hayter for male knight. You can't really top that.
  22. As with always. Fix the RNG, make it proc reliably, and almost everything gets fixed within rotation. Think back to how your rotation plays out if you get 3 MS procs within 30 seconds, and how it plays out if it doesn't proc at all. 9 seconds of window used for MS = Skills lining up with Sundering + Combat Focus Buildups No window used for MS = Bland ppatches where you scrounge focus from wherever. RNG RNG RNG.

  24. It didn't say it had 500k players, it said it had above 600k subscribers... Incidentally, 500k subscribers are their mark for making game sustainable, alone, back before F2P launched. And an additional unknown number ( that is rumored to be above 2M) that logs in regularly. And spends money in CM. Relax dudes and dudesses, this game is one of EA's stable money makers. They like it now, because ,t has been consistently making money ever since it went F2P. Money, I'm sure you all know, is what makes world go spin. In this case, it makes SWTOR spin, and with ease. EDIT: Also, I do hate an excessive obsession on grammar, but I can't stop being grammar nazi for this one second. Loose =/= Lose Two very very very different meanings.
