World bosses are like outside raid bosses, you start a little raid group and kill them, and they drop purple loot. There's only 1 per planet, but I'm not sure if there's 1 for every planet. I killed the Narr Shaddaa one yesterday, he had 560k HP, went with some guildies, dropped pretty nice loot. He was in the Bonus Quest series area though, at the very end of it.

Atleast I was being helped by a level 50, 42 and 41 <3 EDIT: Also, I thought about it, and I don't think you really kill him. He just dissapears, and while in the Codex, it says you get the title ''the Merciless'' for KILLING the Captain on the Black Talon, while the Unmasked title is simply ''for DEFEATING Revan''

Someone in my guild mentioned he's supposed to be found, broken, on some crashed ship on Hoth and that starts the questline to repair him. Hasn't been found though, but then again, Hoth is quite big.

You're only 25, just wait, around 30 it starts slowing down, and some of my guildies around 39-42 are moaning like hell about how the quests are too hard, or how slow it is to level. It evens out in the end.

Personally I'm a Sith Juggernaut, DPS, and in some cases, an offtank. What I like to do is talk to the group, and ofcourse check if anyone has CC's in the group before we start, then you can easily assign a CCer to a mark which you mark the mobs with. I usually go with the ''Aim'' mark being the main target to nuke(This goes mainly for packs of elites) and fire being 2nd, then the non-marked target is the last objective. The marks for CC's vary ofcourse, but so far this has worked out fine for me, even if sometimes you have to take a bit of extra time to explain exactly what someone needs to do. Sure as hell beats wiping over and over due to no communication.

I wanna play as an Ewok, though : ( Personally, I have nothing against addons, some of them are stupid, such as the Boss Encounter addons that tell you when something happens, that's pretty lame, I agree. Then there's addons simply there to improve you're preformance without decreasing the skill required for something, they're the addons I want.

It's not really a spoiler considering he's not part of any real storyline. You'd get told about him eventually anyway. Saying it's a spoiler is ********, so whenever someone mentions a boss from an instance you haven't done, it's a spoiler? Anyway, I agree with OP, I was dissapointed to face Revan so early on, I atleast expected him to be a raid boss. But whatever.

That ''God'' Revan was beaten by me and some guildies in a mid level flashpoint yesterday, I got some nice loot, lololol, especially the speeder. Also demolished HK-47.

Trust me, there's AoE damage when the dot expires, there's even an animation for it blowing up on the ground. Try sending the one with the DoT out of range from everyone else before it expires, you'll notice a huge difference in damage taken.

Pounding against mobs for 10 minutes? What kind of output of damage do you have? If anything, in Athiss, for example, the last packs usually took my groups 30-50 sec per mob, and that's 20k HP. This is why we need a damage meter.

Are you sure you're doing it the way you should aswell? Some people haven't noticed that the DoT also blows up for AoE damage at the end, and while healing the person with the DoT shouldn't be an issue, if the people stand in a group and take the AoE damage I can see how you would wipe. And ofcourse, some people have issues avoiding the fires, but I don't know if you have that problem.

Personally, I've wiped against them in the BETA but after EGA started, they've been fine. It might have to do with the fact that I always offtank the Jedi Knight while we kill it, since I'm a Juggernaut DPS, so I can just switch to tank stance and work that magic. Anyway, we do JK> JC> Trooper> Smuggler, there's often some close calls, and sometimes the tank dies, and I can see how that is an issue if you don't have someone who can take up the tank roll midfight like some classes can.

No story? What level are you? 5? Dear god, there's a story behind every god damn quest in this game, including the sidequests. Also, like someone else said, what KOTOR did you play where the quests weren't just fetch this, kill that, talk to him/her?

Last I checked it was 8k on Tatooine, unless I'm thinking of the wrong one.

I don't understand people who whine about how the queues are too long because they crash and have to queue all over again. How the **** do you manage crashing? My computer isn't even good, it can run the game on high without any issues, and I have yet to experience a single crash or DC. You people must be doing something wrong.

Lol I solo'ed it by just rushing through it, got the data, died, went outside to do the coordinate things. Easy stuff.

Everything stopped lagging for me when I went from Low on everything, including shadows, to high for everything, but turned off shadows. Apparently some graphic cards seem to prefer high over low. But shadows are always the issue.

Who cares if the name of a server is nice? It's not like it matters. What does matter, is your character name and so on. But no, the place isn't full with WoW-Kids and leet speech people, atleast not on Hidden Beks, from my personal experience.

The fact that you faked a disconnect just to leave instead of just telling them you wanted to leave basically made me feel no sympathy for you being in that group. I hate people like that, atleast have the decency to tell us you want to leave, rather than fake DC and let the people sit there waiting for minutes before finally deciding to replace you.
