  1. And people still play powerball which has odds even worse than those so it just goes to show that statistics are fairly meaningless when it comes to why people do things.
  2. I ran it twice as a tactical and it did not count for my DvL char. I ran it again solo without doing anything like dismissing the warbot or setting my companion on passive and it counted so heck if I know what the issue is. I submitted a bug report for each of the tactical runs. I didn't run into any trouble getting credit on any of the other listed tactical flashpoints so it doesn't appear to be something affecting all flashpoints, just Manaan. Will have to see if everything works properly for the HM ones. Given how challenging Manaan can be on HM, I'm hoping I get credit when I start slogging through the HM FPs.
  3. Yes, a welcomed addition. Now we need more inventory and legacy tabs
  4. So much this ... until they fix matchmaking or do something about sorcs/sages being OP in numbers larger than 1 ... forget it.
  5. At worst my current CC grant is delayed. I'll wait to see if the next patch corrects things as stated and put in a ticket if the current grant does not come through. So, yes, there has been a delay in receiving the CC grants dating back to August 2015, however, all the CC grants until the current one are accounted for so I haven't been "cheated" out of anything. A little rational thinking and patience goes a long way.
  6. Bioware/EA only cares about money New packs are a scam Cartel Market is a rip off Vote with your wallet Boycott the Cartel Market I checked and don't think these are on the list yet.
  7. Throwing in another couple new ones (fill in server name) is dead (fill in server name) is a ghost town
  8. Such hostility ... you must not be a very happy person.
  9. I am of two minds on this one. I have to admit that from time to time it is fun to completely overrun the other side. However, with that being said, it gets old and boring really fast. Close fights between two teams of comparable ability is the most fun even when you lose. But, it is not fun to be on the receiving end especially if it is match after match for a dozen warzones. One issue with having a mercy rule is that there is not only one sort of situation where one team overruns the other. You could have: PUG vs PUG group where one group is just terrible and the other one got lucky and has a decent composition. Premade, fully geared, PVP guild team that overruns the other side from the start and it is very obvious there is no chance to beat them. Stacked FOTM groups where you have a plethora of one class or two that bulldoze through the other team which has a mix of classes. I don't have an issue with a hard fought match and those kinds of matches are very satisfying when victorious, however, the problem many people have is with situation 2 and situation 3. There is usually little to no sportsmanship involved and stomping the other side is the only goal; sprinkled with some taunting and insulting gpt good measure. If there was a way to filter out these two types of situations it would improve the way PVP is viewed and increase the enjoyability factor. And therein lays the difficulty in implementing this kind of rule.
  10. GrandLordMenace makes a good point about there being different sorts of "toxic" people. Everyone falls into one of the categories to some degree or another. That is just being human with feelings. How much a person allows the trait to control their actions determines the level of toxicity they exude. In other words, how much does emotion dictate their actions and reactions. The "non-toxic" person is able to take a step back and keep their emotions in check. They are able to control their emotions rather than allow their emotions to control them. Yes, it is cliche, but it's the truth of the matter. And to address anonymity; it does not make or break the toxic person. It facilitates and magnifies the good and the bad. It makes no distinction.
  11. I am normally quite carefree in my combat, however, I am always on the lookout for those flagged players. When those players are near I exercise some caution and take my time to avoid inadvertent flagging on my part. Being aware of your surroundings is a good habit to have when playing a game where you could encounter trolls as well as in the real world where consequences are more permanent.
  12. The best way to experience a guild flagship is to join a guild that has one. Most, if not almost all, guilds have a guild flagship by now. Sure you could unlock one as a player, but decorating and upgrading it is very expensive on your own.
  13. Reduce the grind? Good grief, that's what they have been doing for quite some time now. In all honesty, every game is a grind. Accomplish a goal, do it all over again. What game out there is not like this? If nothing else, they need to up the difficulty because right now a huge percentage of things are considered a snooze fest to many people.
  14. Kid threw a fit because they could not get what they wanted out of a pack? Seriously? I'd say there is a problem with the kid rather than the CM set up.
  15. Quicker way to unflag ... use the Galactic Star Fighter tutorial to unflag almost immediately. Launch GSF with the button on the left side, center of the mini map. Click the ? for the tutorial. Hit ESC as soon as you load into the tutorial Click Exit Battle When you return to the area you left you will be unflagged. It is possible that you clicked on the flagged player when trying to interact with Blizz and inadvertently attacked them, thus flagging yourself. I've seen flagged people sit on or very close to a mob to cause unintentional flagging so I take my time when hovering my cursor over something I need to interact with. Yes, it would be wonderful if it wasn't possible to flag like that on a PVE server, but since it is a possibility people should be aware of it at the very least.
