  1. No, it is the opposite of clear. You state that there is "no tech limitation" but cite "other restrictions". At no point do you give any kind of time frame. How can you hope that you cleared anything up?
  2. Very low on the list apparently. Tomorrow will make it 2 months since this bug was officially recognized by BW:
  3. From Testbed: "Credit Drain" (ironic title) Cost: 3240 Sample Returns: 3075 3542+Investigation Unlock 3197 2664 FAIL FAIL 2290 2715 3637 2376 Average Return: 2349.6
  4. Yes. SS from my time on TB: http://i953.photobucket.com/albums/ae11/karl-just-karl/tbb.jpg
  5. Methodology question: How are you calculating the cost of thermal regulators? Have you figured out a firm crit chance on "Unsliceable"?
  6. lockbox mission bring back mission unlocks. Aside from gathering by hand, mission unlocks are the most financially efficient way of generating scavenging, archeology, and bioanalysis materials. They also guarantee you access to purple diplomacy, UT, TH, and investigation materials without having to rely on rng. If they are not an integral part of your crafting scheme, they should be.
  7. Thanks for the info. I am right there with you as far as having built a system out of unlocks. Bad situation. ....but you were wrong...
  8. It's silly. It's not as silly as hollinium. It's not as silly as perfect carbonic crystals. It's not as silly as viral residue. It's not as silly as having missions come back blank. It's not as silly as having a crafted Arkanian relics be BoP. It's not as silly as not having a consumable sink for sterilization kits. It's not as silly as having most slicing lockboxes return for a loss. It's not as silly as having a level requirement for treasure hunting lockboxes. It's certainly, not even remotely, as silly as this: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear/17167/%5Bprototype%5D-th-06a-master-surgeon-headgear But yeah. Bad design. They should fix it.
  9. I guess what everyone is telling the OP is "Only one out of the four materials missions is worth doing and everything is just fine". I'd like to add: "Only two out of the four lockbox missions turn a profit and everything is just fine."
  10. Anyone gotten reasonable PvE numbers (2600+) or is it MM or Eng/LethHybrid or go home? Been playing around with stacking enough alacrity to fit a full attack in between culls, but otherwise...I'm not seeing much future in pure lethality.
  11. This is a bump up. Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt.
  12. I don't think that BW is stupid or incompetent. They simply saved money by not even making an effort.
  13. Good post. -Mission Unlocks all use same icon. -Slicing returns large loss.
  14. Underworld implants and ears still come out on top, but I like the idea that something player made has some staying power as we go up the tiers.
  15. ./signed DawnAskham and nattodaisuki brought a lot of this to light on PTS forums a month and a half ago. Nattodaisuki did a good job packing one particular thread with mission return data and bumping it for well over a week. A few choice quotations from that thread: 03.04.2013 , 07:41 PM Scavenging and Archaeology both have a blue grade 9 material that seems to come back in abundance (I've had four scavenging missions out and all come back with just this material - Hollinium), but again, not one schematic has been found that uses these materials (none of the vendor schematics for Synth, Armor, or Cyber, nor any of the schematics learned RE'ing Operation drop gear or commendation gear....I will be amazed if Hollinium and Impeccable crystals don't end up being vendor trash in much the same way that the fabrics and archi color crystals you get from unlocked missions are pre-2.0. 03.09.2013 , 06:16 PM From Scavenging missions, I am receiving a large amount of Hollinium (prototype-quality Grade 9 Metal). I have no idea what it's used for, but I'm getting more of it then regular premium-quality Grade 9 Metals. It's possible it will end up bein valuable, but as it is, I can't get enough Metals to keep pace with Compuonds to craft things I need.

  17. They mentioned that multispec will be available in a future patch back in early March... ...2012. http://dulfy.net/2012/03/05/swtor-guild-summitlive-blogging/

  19. OMG, Fearine! Resub and join pls...I promise to PvP with you at least once every other week if you raid every day, k? -Bl'oo
  20. No idea what you are talking about. Was a known bug, I pointed out that it had migrated into the expansion. Looks like the did a messy job fixing it well before my post went up. I am truly sorry that I haven't posted enough crew skills testing feedback. I can tell that I've really let you down. I'll do everything in my power to make it up to you.
  21. To keep players from copying each others schematics they removed the schematics entirely; A sledgehammer response when a scalpel was called for.
  22. Agree Completely. I like knowing at least approximately what will come back with 2 and a half hours of investment running a mission. My fave was a treasure hunting mission that came back with a blue item box but no actual gems. Made me want to log, basically. Doubling down on rng is not the way to go.
  23. The above...translated into a language that matters Corrosive Grenade>Corrosive Dart>Rifle Shot>Cull>Orbital Strike>Target Acuired>Interrogation Probe>Cull>Explosive Probe>Series of Shots>Ambush>Rifle Shot Will play with this definately.
