  1. can anybody log out and re-log back in through the client to test?
  2. I am not able to connect to any of the servers. How about everybody else?
  3. Currently the Contract Hunter Chestguard does not utilize the jetpack on the back when activating abilities such as Rocket Boost/etc. Every other chestguard with a jetpack backpack utilizes seperate animations for abilities that launch the player into the air. Can this be fixed please? Thank you very much.
  4. I thought you were talking about me. I play as the characters Ken and Barbie on PoT5. Not even *********** kidding
  5. The downside is that class content has actually already been expanded upon. A lot of the classes now have canon deaths in the timeline
  6. The Ajunta Pall, Tulak Hord, and Mandalore the Ultimate armor sets look fantastic in my opinion. Im glad to have something really different with the Ajunta Pall set, the chest piece, belt, and mask are all quite unique and will do great for creating new outfits for players to wear. Also I plan on collecting the Mandalore the Ultimate amor set to add to my collections with the Mandalore the Preserver, Cassus Fett, and Mandalorian Hunter armor sets. Now I just need to wait for a Neo-Crusader armor and Ill be set. There has been quite a bit of demand for Kotor II styled Jedi robes for a long time, I also would like to see robes like this to be implemented if possible. What sets has everyone else liked from the new packs on the test center? Please keep this discussion civil, no flaming or bashing people of their opinions. Constructive arguments are requested and I would like everybody to treat everybody else with respect. If doing this is not possible, I recommend using the ignore feature to ignore this thread in its entirety.
  7. I'm terrible at this so forgive my poor quality in answers, but ill give it a shot. (1) I feel as though star wars brings the concept of droids to a new level. You have droids such as TM-34 and R2-D2 that experience radical changes in personality and gained sentience from never having their memory cores wiped. In my opinion, star wars has always set up the stage for a droid character to be a main character of some book, game, or animation. IG-88 for example has quite the decent amount of content written about him even though he (he right?) is a droid. I personally think that a droid character could bring a very new and fresh perspective to gameplay. There would be a hefty amount of racism (does this apply to droids?) and insane requests when encountering characters, but really is that any different. If you look at all the classes, no matter how ****** we play our characters, we are simply servants to our companions/npcs guiding us along a prewritten path as we obey their orders. In a way, we are already playing characters that are robots, with the restrictive focus of this game it would not be too different to have an actual droid as the main character (Hero). (2) I believe that in the star wars universe, a droid that has achieved a level of sentience is essentially regarded the same in capabilities as a person is, the only restriction being is locks on their programming to prevent them from being given the same rights. Look at TM-34, he went around the galaxy doing tons of stuff between all the kotor games and extended content, a lot of this action was independent on his own will. Regarding efficiency in particular, there would be quite a few flavor jokes into the game where options would state "Statement: Foolish meatbags and their care for others blinds them to the truth of how to solve this problem correctly. Query: Why must we save the people trapped in the reactor core when we can just flush it immediately to solve the problem quickly?" I know I could have done a lot better than that, but the efficiency joke would certainly be something worth playing on. (3) This I do have a hard time defending. If we want a true "droid" appearance, we're going to have a very rough time getting gear and equipment to just work... Appearance wise and integration wise. One such solution for stims would be to add a mention that the stim is filled with nanomachines to enhance performance to a specific stat in both organics and artificial beings. The issue about armor can be resolved in a few ways... Have the droids be designed based off the current human body-type, just with droid skin textures. This allows them to wear clothing/etc normally with no issues regarding clipping (least fun) Armor can be equiped normally, but a seperate set of armor tabs (appearance type) could be used to modify appearance of droid armor Customization stations could be allowed for droids with a small credit fee per design change. I know this borderlines appearance tab requests that are already in the game, and i apologize that i utilized that for my answer, just trying to think of how things could work. Once again Im terrible at this, it's all highly impractical and close to 0.0000001% improbable. It still does not change the fact that id absolutely go nuts over how much id love it.
  8. Could you post about how you think it could work instead of a just flat out rejection. Of course having advantages in PvP because of your valor rank is a bad idea, but some reward for people who have achieved absurdly high valor levels would be nice.
  9. Did you just talk about Archer? If so I approve, a black turtleneck would be a more-than fantastic addition to this game
  10. I mean that's fine too. Honestly my biggest complaint is just the lack of content after 50 regarding class story. I either would like a new class story to play or proper extensions to the class storyline. Imho, I actually think it would be easier to just make a new class and re-use a very large amount of the already existing content/planets than to make like three new planets to continue the class storyline (assuming leveling from 55-60)
  11. Well not technically, the wrinkles actually do extend out beyond the skeletal frame that most pants have. Torfashion has low resolution pictures so it's hard to see, but on high resolution it's barely noticable. I do get your point though, I was just making a post for those wanting a lose fitting pair of pants (looks like it at least) that are out right now. Just trying to help out.
  12. The Daragon pants are actually loose fitting if people are interested in them
  13. While I do enjoy that, I would like this to not be seen as another grind. It would just be a flavor quest for the fun of it with a lot of star wars themed jokes along the way. I want more content in swtor to incite players to explore old planets without having to do reputation capped grinds or monthly/bimonthly events. Datacrons are certainly amazing to do and they require players to explore the craziest of places. I would love more content that just adds flavor to the game, along with titles or specific orange equipment that just says "I spent 10 hours walking back and forth between npcs on every single planet just to get this "I love Tauntauns" shirt." I feel the game has quite a bit of flavor already, but im just requesting some more if possible, I know some people that would love the concept of getting some silly cosmetic item at great cost... I mean look at how successful the cartel market is, its built off of that principle alone. Anyways, that's my defense, I do like your idea as well but I do not feel it matches the intentions of my own.
  14. Ill attempt to answer some questions. (1) Half-Half DPS/Melee would be an interesting class choice. (2) Weapon would either be Vibroblade or Blaster Rifle (3) mainstat is either Aim or Strength (4) Functions as a hybrid/redmage style class between range consistant dps or melee burst dps (5) Strength would be on fulfilling specific FP and Operations goals. Such as being able to CC both a droid and a human or two creatures, or being able to adapt to fulfill the puzzle based option quicker. In a way a utility based class that is strictly built as a support. For PvP DPS should be something like 2/3rd damage for both ranged and melee, but hotswappable modes at the button press (similar to how smugglers/agents have a cover-toolbar) to allow them to switch to melee combat or ranged combat. Honestly I could have done better at answering these questions. Let's face it, something like this will never happen. I personally think Swtor as a game succeeds in its leveling content rather than its endgame content. As a result I would like to see the class storyline capitalized on more so than endgame pvp/pve content at the moment simply because I think its Swtors best element for an mmo. There's always a difference in opinion though! I just happen to enjoy leveling alts more than endgame PvE and PvP content, heck the reason I developed such a strong love for SW was simply due to Kotor I and II and I always crave more content related to that. Thats about it for me, It's incredibly easy to counter my points and find flaws in the system. It's just something I would enjoy seeing, nothing else. I know its almost quite impossible, but that's what the suggestion box is for. Something for bioware to unexpectedly surprise us with every now and then.
  15. I think for this sake we cannot expect such great changes out of bioware this late into development as well as the declining popularity. I would have a new origin world, a droid planet of some kind. Through the end of the quest you get to decide which faction you ally yourself with. After that point you're restricted to faction specific worlds for leveling and missions just like normal. The biggest pain in the *** is just voicing an entire class storyline. The rest I think could be done relatively easily, compared to other game content that is. But it really would be nice to see Revan in more depth, potentially confrontation with the Exile during a quest chain/etc. There is a lot of tie ins that bioware could work with easily that could blow some players minds. HK-47 has been one of the most popular things to come from Kotor, and it has a lot of potential in that. An HK Unit rebuilt after the sith flashpoint has the ability to look and act entirely differently up to the players discretion. Other difficulties among the many include armor refitting. Most likely armor would have to be removed from appearance in general, or there would have to be a robotic customization system that makes the body work well with current armor models. A lot of things are in the way here, but I honestly couldnt care less. Id play an HK storyline anyday to get more content from kotor I and II in this game.
  16. I mean who wouldnt like to be the rebuilt HK-47 with an altered player chosen appearance with a storyline and class quest dedicated around following revans orders. Class requires at least one cleared character and either Imp or Pub related flashpoint to be completed. Honestly id like it, it might be better to just be dps for the sake of making the game easier. I really dont care about how much it costs, I feel bioware has been heavily skimping on the storyline content far too much. It would do well to increase the lore of the game as well as play a role that players felt much more important than the typical class storylines. Im singing it OP, I approve of a droid class more than you can imagine.
  17. well i dont know about that specifically... but I would like conversions from regular commendations to ranked commendations to become cheaper following various points in valor above 100. Most people with 100 valor have full ranked armor, however it would help the grind again once the new sets come out every season.
  18. The Biggoron's Sword comment was mainly a joke, but does lead into my point. I would love for there to be a quest that covers about 8 planets in length. There would be no required combat, just trading and collecting of useless items that would stay in your mission folder. These items can be hilariously named like "Anti-matter generator" or "Naga Sadow's Eyeliner" and etc, you get the picture. The goal of this would be to require the player character to go on a potentially hilarious side quest making them walk to inconvenient locations among every planet, making the time to complete the quest quite ridiculous. The end result however would result in some ridiculous orange item that the community would love to wear. I can leave the item suggestions to you guys, id prefer some mask or something. I would also like the item to be light/dark/neutral oriented if possible making a total of three possible quest rewards dependent on the final choice. (that can be eliminated if it needs to be, or have the item exchangeable at a specific NPC) Example - Finishing the chain to get an Ewok mask. Your character frustrated at this result chooses to kill the NPC you traded for the hat to loot his Helmet... A rather silly Jawa Mask. The neutral option would be to say that you'd prefer the wookiee mask despite the NPCs disappointment in not giving out the Ewok Mask to anybody. What do you guys think? I think it would be quite fun and would give me something to do in my spare time on the fleet. I'm not sure it would require much design, and previously existing models can be utilized if desired. That's the end of my suggestion, please comment on if you support or are against or if you have item suggestions befitting of such a long trading quest. Needless to say I'd look forward to seeing all the hilarious comments the player character would make during this quest if possible.
  19. In a note prior to my post, I will mention that I understand that my idea could lead to flaming posts and I understand that. However I would like to request posters to make replies regarding constructive reasons against or for my argument instead of resorting to name-calling or other forms of harassment towards myself or other posts in this thread. Thank you. Suggestion: I believe that players who have exceeded the recommended level per each planet to be bolstered to the recommended level cap on each planet. Example being, a level 55 character may land on Tatooine, however they will have their stats bolstered to the equivalent stats of a level 28. This in my opinion will bring both incentive for more competitive world pvp between players as well as provide more motivation for lower leveled players to seek help from higher leveled players during questing. Reasons why I support this idea. This method allows higher leveled players to have a system that allows them to help lower leveled players without crippling those players experience points to be gained from questing and killing of monster. This method may help prevent current exploitation's in heroic quests that in which lower level players utilize higher level players to weaken their enemies as they land killing blows in order to get experience points that are too high and quickly for their intended level. This method helps prevent the number of unfair ganks seen in world pvp on pvp servers. Where players of a higher level will intentionally hunt down players of a lower level in order to harass them. This allows me to enjoy questing in a game with my friends who play much more infrequently from me, I would no longer be required to re-level alts in order to be at my friends level. This system would allow lower level players to participate with high level players in confrontations with specific world bosses, gaining achievements and potential loot that will increase their enjoyment within the game all together. Reasons why I would think this idea might fail. There is potential exploitable content within this system. It may be common for elder game geared characters to help lower level guild members grind to 55 even faster in a more convenient way. There is also the potential chance that exploiters might learn how to remove or not receive the bolster buff all-together, allowing them to handle content at an incredibly quick pace. There could be a work around to this and I am open to suggestions. This might cause unforeseen bugs during questing/leveling and it might require a couple patches of inconvenience to fix fluidly after implementation. World Boss difficulties will probably have to be restructured to work with this system in place to ensure they are not either too easy or too hard. designing a system to bolster players to various X levels might be more difficult than I can imagine and might require some time to develop so that players may be fairly bolstered when landing on each planet. I know there could be a lot of controversy with this system, that it has the chance to be exploited by others quite easily without proper consideration. However I would like to encourage players or forum staff to participate in this discussion constructively, attempting to leave out content that might be unnecessary to the discussion. I also would like to apologize if this topic has been posted many times. I have not seen it yet and a search for me has not provided satisfactory results to explain my opinion. Thank you for reading, I will enjoy reading all your comments!
  20. I would pay 600 cartel coins to get a "space collar shock" emote that affected your companions. I'd also pay 200 coins for the physical collar for rp fluidity
  21. Having the same issues here.
  22. Prophecy of The Five as well
  23. My recommendation OP. For running swtor with Nvidia, I feel something with X70 or above is required. I feel a 760 would stutter while a 770 would be a much greater performance to cost ratio. My two cents, good luck OP building a pc is a fun experience.
