  1. All of the above. Plus.. I get tired of mousing around on the screen and accidentally TOUCH my companion, which triggers a response. If they don't have the "I need to talk to you somewhere" icon, it seems that they overwhelming hit you with some snarky comment. Muting this abusive behavior from my companion would be welcome.
  2. Since there doesn't seem to be a method already incorporated into this game for the OP's suggestion, the only other alternative I can think of is NiM versions of each FP. I just don't see this as useful. The MM queue already takes forever to pop for PUGs. These NiM versions would need to just have pre-formed groups that go to the entrance + mission giver and then select the NiM level. Otherwise, sticking NiM FPs into the queue system will just make them pop never, imo.
  3. Go back to Korriban. He's still training there, if you haven't already received him as your companion.
  4. If I knew how to actually multi-quote, I'd be QFTing both LD_Little_Dragon and Opiklo. I much prefer to run as they do than winpersec. A couple of seconds of everyone healing up between ANY combat is better than someone just running ahead and aggroing the next mob when others in the group need a moment. That running ahead can be additionally hazardous if you've bypassed some mobs but one of the trailing players catches the aggro. We've all done it. Not intentional, but it happens. Sure, maybe that player can handle them, and maybe not. But, the rule SHOULD BE: everyone sticks together. Except in those rare locations that we need to spread out.
  5. Additionally, iirc, there are some Utilities that say they Cleanse affects and others that say they remove movement impairing effects. The former utilities don't seem to work on this mechanic while the latter does. However, I haven't tested this with all cleansing Utilities.
  6. Technically, the answer is: Yes, you can put the GOLD crafted item into the Deconstruct/Reverse Engineer window. However, it should show you that there is no new schematic that can be learned. The item can be deconstructed though.
  7. I'm not selling, just giving you some info. Don't expect them to be cheap. One component, Iokath Recombinator, has drastically gone up in price. Prior to 6.0 the Iokath Recombinator cost 5,000 credits. Now, they cost 260,000 credits. Trying to prevent some sticker shock when someone offers to sell them to you.
  8. As I did not take screenshots of characters before and after, all I can offer is anecdotal evidence. That which I commented about having some (not all) reestablished levels get converted back to 600 has happened to me. I can't PROVE it. All I can say is that it DID happen to me. Which is why I'm reluctant to try again. Especially since my gameplay is different from yours, so I don't gain back millions of credits that easy.
  9. Good to know it actually does work. Intend to mix up a pair of Preservers w/ Trinshin's Retort 4pc on a Sin Tank.
  10. I'm hoping this doesn't become another bugged issue that, after an attempt or 2 to fix just goes into that hyperspace-time void of IGNORE THE PROBLEM. While the reduced skills to ___/600 are annoying if they are gathering skills, it's untenable if they are the skills where companions MUST go on mission to get them: Diplomacy, UnderWorld Trading, Treasure Hunting, and Investigation. I'm not so rich that I can just spend the 500k for each and every crew skill across many alts. Especially when that last attempt at a fix took the progress and ___/700 away from many characters that tried again. If you can't fix the problem, at least reduce the 500k per skill to 700 to a more reasonable amount. Zero credits would be grand, of course.
  11. In the first room that you can use Archaeology skill to open the door instead of needing the bomb, off to the right, up the hill, is a container with this tablet.
  12. Too many alts to buy back the ___/700 on each reverted skill. Sure, it's only "game money". However, I stopped playing shortly into 6.0 when it was clear that they were trying to reduce our accumulated credits, mats, etc with an over-the-top credits/mats/etc sink. It's just not fun trying to accumulate the massive amounts of mats needed for something simple, let alone the top end schematics. And just because I get Jawa junk from just about everything, 200 junk to get 1 mat is ridiculous. I hate that this sounds like a threat ---> but if the crew skills aren't "fixed" soon, I'll be voting with my subscription, again, and not renewing.
  13. MM False Emperor. Immediately the "tank" says he's not really a tank. He only queues as a tank to get the FPs to pop for him. Me and the other dps give a "hmm" and I look over his gear. Initially, all dps related gear. Eventually, he puts a tank Tactical in and replaces his focus with a shield. I say, "it's up to the healer". Another comment about his gear and he calls us "haters". Bad move, but we move on. Well, actually it went ok up until Jindo Kray. His lack of mitigation was a super hindrance and the healer was overwhelmed even just focusing on the "tank". After a few attempts I initiated the vote kick. If he'd had actual tank stuff besides the tactical and shield, maybe different story. But when you need to be a major damage SPONGE, you better have the gear for it. Don't hope that the healer will be able to carry you.
  14. I know shortly after I returned from a hiatus, in May(?) of this year they had 6 planets for Conquest. 2 of each size. Why not do that during these Swoop events?
  15. In my experience, most of the MM FPs go VERY fast. I would think primarily it is because everyone knows the FP and knows their characters' abilities and everyone elses' abilities. I do find it odd that in some MM FPs there is someone not space barring through the cutscenes. I expect most have done "this" FP enough that they shouldn't need to watch the cutscenes. When this happens, I'm usually just with the inner "ugh", and then persevere. All that said, I sure wish players queued for MMs more. Even when I'm on tank or heals I can go a play session (1-2 hours) and never get an MM to pop.
  16. The Crafting fix did not apply. I still have characters that once were 700/700 in all skills that are sitting at 2 or 3 of the skills are 600/600.
  17. Just checked 2 chars for crafting. Does not appear to be fixed. 1 char is still all 600/600 and another is 700700 in his crafting, but the other 2 skills are 600/600. Both characters used to be 700/700 in all.
  18. I thought it was because of the very few times in various class stories that you MUST meet with someone in your hangar. I don't recall about the need to meet someone in the Spaceport in any class stories. Even if the above IS the case, the game should be smart enough to KNOW that I'm not ON that mission and don't need take a tour of my hangar nor the spaceport. Especially the hangar on Fleet.
  19. Thanks for the clarifications, Steve. I've never had the "contamination" problem as all of my crafters only RE their own items. But, it's good to know.
  20. This tactical seemed problematic as Force Crush only lasts 3 seconds, iirc. Between GCD and various "my gameplay" factors, it's difficult to get this to proc before Force Crush has finished.
  21. This is a "thing"? Why should it matter if it were an item "this" character didn't craft? In the past, that's how you'd get the schematic for armorings, mods, enhancements, etc, by pulling them from loot. If this is a "the Devs decided to make it this way", so be it. I wasn't aware that they had.
  22. I resubbed 5/14/2020. At this point, I noticed that all characters had ___/700 next to all of their crew skills. So, I didn't pay the 500k per skill to raise its' potential to 700. Since coming back, I've raised almost all crew skills to 700/700. So, for the Devs, the question remains. Bug or intentional?
  23. Logged in 1 character and saw that his crafting is still 700, but the other 2 skills have been set to 600/600. Prior to this patch all crew skills on this character were 700/700. He is Biochem 700/700. Was Bioanalysis 700/700 and Diplomacy 700/700. Now Bioanalysis and Diplomacy are showing 600/600. Decided not to log on another character, but to log off and come grumbling to the forums.
  24. Solution that I have found to work: -run past Kilran, up the ramp, just to the level portion. He should start taking damage now. If he is bugged and doing uber damage, well, that won't stop with this. But, at least now you can eventually kill him.
  25. EVERYONE needs to be AWARE of what's going on. Look at which NPC is shooting at whom. DPS need to stop attacking some other target IF the healer is getting mauled by adds or one outlier enemy NPC. Of course, if YOU are getting mauled, drag em to the tank or wherever the healer has planted the AoE heal. No one should be laser-focused on one target unless there IS only one target. Look around. See what needs to be done. Help whoever needs help. Understand if the tank has to keep an NPC "over there" and can't run around the battlefield to draw aggro. Keep an eye on each other. Know YOUR characters' abilities. But, you should know your teammates abilities, as well. At least in general. Being helpful makes things more fun and goes faster and tends to not devolve into "toxic".
