  1. Tait, you are saying "anyone" but the patch notes only mention Smuggler and Bounty Hunter. We have Trooper and Jedi Knight characters on this thread with the same issues. Please clarify whether or not this is a known issue for classes other than Smuggler and Bounty Hunter, and when those other classes can expect a fix.
  2. 4.5 Patch Notes: "Fixed an issue where Smugglers and Bounty Hunters were not getting credit for completing Act 3 if certain conversation choices were made during the final Missions." What of the other classes not getting credit for completing Act 3?
  3. Chapter 3 completion, for the most part, doesn't work right now. Behold: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=847285
  4. finished Knight chapter 3 on 5/17/2016 no achievement, no legacy ability unlock, no CC reward
  5. There is no in-game polling / feedback system. BW has often spoken or written about metrics throughout the lifespan of the SWTOR project, typically (and especially early on) to explain changes to game systems. It surprises me very much that measurable, actionable in-game opinion polls / questionnaires were neither part of the original design, nor added since launch. So when BW says "metrics," they always mean player behavior, while remaining statistically blind to player sentiment. The lack of in-game polling tools also means BW relies on extrapolating feedback received from a Closed PTS test population to the player population at large. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the Closed beta testers (kudos to them all) are in most ways not at all representative of the overall player population. I think the community managers do the best they can with the tools they're given. But the tools could be better. There's such a noise to lurker ratio on the forums, as well as active players who don't care to post on the forums. The same is true of any sincere effort BW might be making to get feedback via social media sites. I can't see how an ideal solution ever comes of monitoring the forums / social media, boiling that down and "passing the issue on to the dev team". A well-crafted in-game player feedback system would not only provide better stats for the SWTOR dev team to act on, it would allow the community managers to close the loop by explaining design decisions to the player base in a meaningful way. And really, it wouldn't even have to be in-game. I get a 1-3 email surveys a week from other services to which I subscribe. It's nice to feel appreciated and involved. Customers tend to like that. Never an email from SWTOR though (except when my bill is due.)
  6. Same thing here. Months old problem. Tickets won't accomplish anything but hey, go ahead and try. There are other posts here on the Bug Report forum describing this problem. They can be difficult to search for. And unfortunately, the Known Issues list is painted in very broad strokes so we're often left to repeat what others have already reported. :-( You're not alone.
  7. Hi Dulfy, I read through the comments here and as a WP admin I couldn't help but think "I feel your pain" Here is something that might help you, if you don't already have equivalent workflow in place. I use ManageWP to run about 90 WordPress sites for my clients. It is especially useful for site relaunches and other major updates. There's a cost associated with MWP, but having only a couple of sites, the cost would be minimal for you to check it out if your difficulties continue (then cancel the service post-relaunch). https://managewp.com/plans-and-pricing For a relaunch, I'd be doing the following with ManageWP as part of the workflow. Primarilty, I'm on VPS LAMP stacks. 1. add dulfy.net to ManageWP dashboard 2. in cPanel create new subdomain dev.dulfy.net, point it to "public_html_dev" or equivalent on your web server, and create a new MySQL DB & db user to hold a clone of the current Dulfy.net. 3. Use ManageWP to clone dulfy.net to dev.dulfy.net 3a. (optional) add dev.dulfy.net to ManageWP dashboard 4. (optional) lockout dev.dulfy.net using .htaccess deny/allow. let only your designated IP address(es) into the dev clone. 5. make all your changes & bugfixes on dev while the live site goes on without interruption. (enjoy peace of mind) 6. use ManageWP to take a final backup Snapshot of dulfy.net, in case the relaunch goes awry. 7. make the dev version live. There are a few steps to this. Summary: set your dev site's WP General settings (remove the "dev." from the site URL -- you'll be kicked out of the WP admin). Next hop into FTP or SSH and rename the "public_html*" directories appropriately ("public_html" --> "public_html_old", "public_html_dev" --> "public_html"). Finally, use the WP plugin "Go Live Update URLs" on the newly minted live site to bulk fix DB records -- typically images & links -- that might still point to "dev." Of course there are other ways to accomplish this workflow without ManageWP. And depending on your web host YMMV. I hope all your WP wishes come true.

  9. Infernixx nailed it... Do you have any experience holding CM items until their respective packs are embargoed? I imagine there will be a few highly-collectible items whose prices skyrocket. But what about the 'meh' items? Does embargo-induced rarity increase demand for anything but the most popular items? Are embargoed items generally out-of-sight, out-of-mind until the embargo passes (as we've recently seen with the Shipment 1 Hypercrates)? A new pack release creates item awareness, while previous pack items fade into the background like any unadvertised product.
  10. I have used Tridef 3D with my AMD EyeFinity card and LG passive 3D TV. They provide a launcher that takes most of the guesswork out of making games work correctly in 3D. In general it works well. I haven't tried too many games with it. Skyrim and Arkham City looked good. They have a free trial available. The list of Tridef supported games does list SWTOR. I haven't tried it though. My room layout dictates that I only play gamepad-controlled games on my TV. So I can't speak directly to the SWTOR experience.
  11. Same. I noticed the issue only when I began investigating why I didn't have the Galactic Datacron Master title. Imp Main has all the necessary Imp side datacrons and achievements. Pub primary-alt has all the necessary Pub side datacrons but none of the achievements. (Yep, I went back and tried to collect those datacrons again, but, "you cannot access this") I'm likely missing other achievements on alts but I really don't care to weed through them. Automated response to in-game support ticket ("Please audit my account achievements and apply correct achievements / unlocks.") said to file a Bug Report as this is a Known Issue. Not a "known issue" as shown on the Customer Support forum mind you. But perhaps it's Known elsewhere, secretly? Filed bug report promptly fell into a black hole and evaporated.
  12. I agree. After stockpiling these Infected Companion Customizations during the original Rakghoul event, I was only missing 1 of the lower-level customization kits. I expected to be able to get it this time by putting in some additional effort with my main. Wrong again. In the original Rak event, you purchased a RNG box. When you opened it, you'd get a random Infected Companion Customization. The whole "needs Elara Dorne" thing circumvented by the fact that there were no such restrictions on purchasing the RNG box. However, like all RNG boxes, you run the risk of ending up with 7 untradable, unsellable Infected Vector customizations, and none of the one you actually wanted (true story!). I considered making 7 Agents, but ultimately I decided to destroy 5 of those to clear cargo space. So yes, there's a huge disconnect here with purchase criteria when these items are BOTH: - Bound to Legacy -- and -- - Requiring a specific Companion I'm sure there are eleventy-four ways to rationalize it , but in general it makes very little sense. Like simultaneously having "Tea" and "No Tea" (look it up). I'm not sure this should be solved. But if it were, a good solution would be to wrap each of these things in its own Bound non-RNG box. (Infected Elara Dorne Customization Kit --> right-click yields --> Infected Elara Dorne Customization) Thank you for your time!
  13. I like the new layout of the currency window as of 1.5. The 'progress bars' are a good visual indicator of the comm cap. However, unless there's some new use in development for the lower level planetary comms, or unless comms become Bound to Legacy, I'd like to be able to filter this list. On a high level character, I don't really want to keep track of how many Hutta or Coruscant comms I have. The window is cluttered and always generates a scroll bar.
  14. How's this all going now? What a difference 7 weeks makes.
  15. Welcome, and thanks for being here & immediately validating the positions you occupy. Most thread respondees aren't asking you to be The Game Developers or metrics-driven Six Sigma Black Belts, and I'm really happy with that. Just be here to talk. SWTOR Community needs a little talk therapy more than anything right now.
  16. Kuat It would be fantastic to look up into the sky and see the shipyard ring. Maybe some story elements around the surface vs. ring life, and/or factions warring over resources. Space missions & space combat mechanics, Kuat fits. Also, I imagine that ground-quest zones could also take place in the shipyard ring, perhaps adding shuttle routes that take you up into orbit, instead of around surface map-only.
  17. Forum text line length is so much better / scaling on mobile browsers now. Thank you!
  18. ^ this. New voiceover and warzone intro narratives -- you know, where we hit the spacebar a bunch of times? -- will be added to explain the same faction WZ as a training exercise. Detailed at guild summit.
  19. At guild summit, a speaker said they're working on new intro sequences (voiceover, etc.) to put some logic behind having same faction versions of Voidstar and CW. In same-faction WZ play, those WZs will be framed as "wargames" or "battlefield simulations." It's not going to be presented as a live fire situation.
