  1. If you're mature, willing to have a laugh and socialise over voice comms, want to run Ops twice weekly on days decided by the whole guild, have either of the classes mentioned above and as stated, be reliable and wanting to be the final part of our Ops jigsaw, then please contact any of the following in game to have a chat: Izabera Cobblars Thragtusk Tarkon Thanks for reading
  2. As per the title, Mandroid Love, an adult focused Empire faction casual PvE guild is recruiting. Yes, another guild that is recruiting, but where we would like to think we differ from others, is that we don't want some large, unfriendly guild. Instead, we'd like a group of very social people whose main priority is to enjoy everything the game has to offer while having a laugh with plenty of banter between guildmates. We have no restrictions other than English speaking, over 25+ and able to have, and take, a laugh. To this end we want to promote extensive use of Mumble so everyone can socialise and this is why you don't need to fill out some boring and laborious application sheet; oh no! Simply contact one one of the poor souls mentioned at the end of this post, arrange a time to log into Mumble (server details on the website Mandroidlove.enjin.com) and have a chat with one or both of the leaders and that is it. Couples and older gamers (we're all over 30 ourselves) are all welcome and we want to create something that is going to mean heroics, dailies, flashpoints and operations will all be fought, and beaten with a wink and a smile and then a curse as you get out rolled on that bit of loot you wanted. We don't want to be hardcore, we don't want to dictate playstyle or play time (operation days and times will be discussed with the whole guild hopefully every week to ascertain when is the best time for everyone) we just want to have a laugh and enjoy the game we're playing. If you're interested (and why wouldn't you be!), then send a PM or /whisper to Cobblars, Tarkon or Izabera in game or Cobblars, Maddiebella or Scruffy on these very forums.
  3. Are you getting that from the pictures on Dulfy, because there is no way you can state that they've designed it to look like mummified skin and a dead eye from the low rez pictures there. What I can see is a grilled mouthguard/breathing apparatus and a silver lens or eye piece. You could be right, I could be right or we both could be wrong, but you can't make any definitive statements unless there are bigger, clearer pictures available.
  4. I'm not sure where you're getting mummified skin and dead eye from? It looks like bandages partially covering a helmet from the low res pictures there are. Now, if you want to pick on some of the other class sets, I'll be right there throwing mud with you
  5. I'm not so sure. The 'Mummy' BH armour is a blatant homage to Dengar, right down to the virtually identical breastplate, and I think I saw a link to an old Boba Fett prototype drawing that the elite BH set bore more than a passing resemblance to. I can't defend the others but at least the BH and - to an extent - Trooper sets clearly have their roots in the SW universe.
  6. It is! Nice to have a server now that has more than 12 people on it
  7. Having a pureblood able to play as a Jedi kinda knocks the furor over them being Inquisitors, due to lore concerns, into a cocked hat doesn't it?
  8. Pureblood JK and Chiss Smuggler eh? Liking the look of the uprated textures and most interestingly, the legacy powers. I wonder how that'll be balanced (probably a reeeeally long cooldown ). Looking good Bioware, looking good.
  9. I got the Karlov(?) Electrostaff last night (Imp BTW) and it had a yellow crystal. I didn't pay attention to the stats too much as it's just going to a companion anyway.
  10. That's the PvP gear set. Why it is on there, given that the PvE 2-piece bonus is a -spend loads of energy with this alacrity bonus, but get a whole 10 back, woohoo! - piece of crap, I've no idea. And Field Tech is the Sniper stuff; although you have to wear Enforcer bracers.
  11. It's the same set that the Sniper is wearing at the end (when she headshots the Jedi) but not in white. My GTN must be crap because I've not seen any high level orange IA bits on it
  12. I would be right there with you, but are SOE any better? Really? Devs lying at Fan Faire's about release schedules and then going back on it, the complete lack of content being made (that isn't bought with $medbucks) and the continued destruction of a once proud game that shat over World of W**kcraft at its prime. Bitter truth is they all lie, but anything associated with Smedly is going to be right at the top of the porkies told list.
  13. I'm a Londoner and I can remember when (I'm only 35!) you could tell which quadrant of the city people came from purely by their accent. Now, all the 'yoof' seem to talk in some fake, Jamaican patois, intermingled with the horror of horrors, 'txt spk'. Gone to the dogs I tells ya On topic, I believe the Americans have the edge with aluminium as it's an American originated word? And if people are going to slate us for pronouncing jaguar as it is spelled, and not 'jag-warr' then can all you Americans who pronounce 'penchant' as pen-chant and not the correct French way, please refrain from critiquing others on incorrect pronunciation
  14. I love that Elara is the only person to pronounce 'Lieutenant' correctly! Favourite of all though, has to be the Welsh Imperial Officer (Officer Bryn?) on the bridge. "Evil cyborgs, see?" I was expecting him to either call me boyo or start talking about the valleys at any minute.
  15. ^^ Vanguard was a good crafting system too (shame the game was released so early, was great ) and early EQ2 had a really in-depth system before it it was dumbed down; hell you could actually die if your item had a couple of failures due to you missing the prompts!
