  1. Posting to add my support for this request. This isn't just a quality of life improvement, as it is a legacy feature for players. Help us capture and relive our memories and experiences, which will only encourage us to keep playing to make new ones! Thank you for your consideration.
  2. /senseforce (Hand outstretched, or, fingers at temple, eyes closed.) /moveobject (Hand outstretched, eyes closed.) (eg. Yoda levitating Luke's X-Wing in ESB.) /shot (Clutch at chest, possibly stagger backward?) (eg. Leia got shot on Endor in ROTJ) /sliced or /cut (Clutch at arm, possibly turn torso?) (eg. Vader did this when Luke sliced his shoulder in ESB.) /banghead (Clutch top of head and crouch suddenly in pain.) (eg. Chewbacca did this in Jabba's palace in ROTJ.) /bangknee (Clutch knee and hop?)
  3. Just wanted to post my appreciation for this thread. I learned a lot (especially about the faction/gender coding, which I did not know about). I am disappointed in the variation of coats, I am currently wearing an orange version of one of the medic coats, and while it is mostly okay, the diplomat-style sash kills my immersion. I like several of the gunslinger style jackets, but I'd never be caught dead wearing a cape, so I make do. Props to the original poster, and as a request, if/when they ever have time, if you can post (and label!) male and female versions of each outfit as players provide them, it would make the thread even more valuable. As another request, is it possible to have players submit screenshots of the Imperial version of the same named items? I know we can use the Agent class forum to find some information, but having a side-by-side comparison of various outfits and how they change between classes might be handy. Additionally, I was under the impression we can e-mail items to our cross-faction alts if we haven't bound it already, or am I mistaken on that? Keep up the great work, and here's hoping they loosen the drawstring a little, and give us even more visual customization options...
  4. Thank you for the additional forum to help keep us in contact. Much easier than trying to keep tabs on specific Vrook Lamar threads here. I prefer not to subscribe to threads to avoid the endless spam to my e-mail. I've joined and look forward to getting to know the community (and meeting some of you in-game!).
  5. I also play on Vrook Lamar. Old man Jaade. Smuggler, outlaw, grizzled old-timer. I haven't tried the RP channel thing, I don't quite follow the instructions I read earlier. I create my own channel? I would have thought everyone joins the same channel, but maybe I missed the explanation. I had my first real role-play scene at the Cantina on Carrick Station last night, which was a nice way to wind down my evening. I posted about it at the end of this thread. I'm glad to see there are "regulars" posting about this and generating awareness so we can slowly find each other. I haven't used the "friends" option yet in-game, but I assume that adds the character's name so you can contact them via Whisper even if they are on another world? It would be fun to role-play that as comlink or holo communications once we build a network of contacts... I love this by the way.
  6. I finally had a chance to slow down and smell the Alderaanian roses last night. I ran the Essles quest with my Scoundrel, and I partied up with three strangers. While it was mostly run 'n gun due to the hectic pace of the mission, I was adding a few colourful comments at the beginning like; "This is the fun shuttle boys, hope you brought your motion sickness bags." I was trying to find my voice, and sprinkle something fun in before the action. Afterwards, I finally just sat down at a cantina in Carrick Station, and did some people watching, as my next trip is to Coruscant, and I know I'll have a ton of exploring to do there. Eventually a Jedi (Rendron?) came along who was willing to share a drink with me (water, ha!). We discussed the points of view of the war between a Jedi and an independant. He was a Mirakulan, and he told me he was sensing my "alignment" using his race's abilities, so I gave him my Light/Dark score, and then he reacted to that in-character based on my comments, which was fun. I had told some of my in-person friends that I don't want to race to the end, and I want to be able to sit in a cantina and not feel like I am wasting time, but just enjoy the ambiance. I know I could join a rp-Guild, but between work and family, my time to play can be limited, so I don't want to make a commitement to a group I can't keep. Just my .02 credits.
