on imperial side sure. Us republics are screwed still with no guaranteed way to get it.

Not to mention all the imps that have it completely toss that lore garbage out the window. There is NO EXCUSE for the lack of purple on republic FIX IT. Ugh i hope that's true, BUT even still... knowing the planet they can be found on still doesn't limit down which enemy or enemies are most likely to drop it, and i highly doubt that if it is a drop that the enemy has not yet been killed before... so why hasn't anybody gotten one yet if its "not hard to get"

Its not about right or wrong or this side or that. Bottom line is, Empire can get them with ease, republic hasn't gotten a single one yet.

In the end there is no justification for the lack of purple on Republic, *** loads of imps have purple now days from their level 50 champion weapons, but republic gets the lousy cyan colored weapons which are hardly distinguishable from the normal blue at distance. Seriously, SWTOR has precious little customization options as it is, give us the ability to get purple on republic side.... This imp side only crap so far is a lousy punch in the balls after i had purple for months on beta. Its one thing to have never had it, try having it for a while and then loosing it....... /sigh Also the excuse that everybody would use it because its differentis just not true, they were very VERY easy to get on beta, and maybe 5% of total Jedi players used them. I hardly ever saw anybody who had one, more often then not i simply encountered people who didn't know how easy it was to get and would ask me where i got it, and even THEN half of those people still didn't use it. Purple is a matter of taste for some of us, like myself who just happen to feel that it makes for a sick *** lightsaber that looks sleek and intimidating moreso then the classic colors. GIVE US PURPLE BIOWARE PLEASE..... i will likely drop sub if i go more then 60 days of being level 50 or so and still haven't gotten one until which point i hear its become possible. Thats just me tho, hard to get is one thing, impossible is another. You could at least tell us Republics if its even possible, we can only speculate still......

The light side dark side restrictions on crystals are fine IMO. If you want blue don't be an evil douche. What the NEED to fix is the availability of purple on Republic side. Imps can get it at 50 pretty easy, still no confirmed way to get it on republic at all yet.

Can we get a confirmation that republic can even GET a purple lightsaber? Seen plenty of Imps that have purple (Champion weapons) while our lousy champion weapons have the stupid "Classic Luke color" (lightblue) which is hardly distinguishable from regular blue at a distance, as well as upclose on maps such as the Alderaan warzone. We need purple on republic FFS. General customization is low enough as it is, but having the color you WANT is another form of customization (I had purple on beta) and now all lightsabers feel 100% inadequate to me simply because they aren't the color i want. It is ruining my experience of the game more then the imbalanced Warzone issue by tenfold. At first i thought it was just because im only in my low 30s and i just haven't gotten to any of the quests yet, (never saw any quests with purple crystal rewards upto lvl 40 on beta) but not one single 50 ive talked to so far has any clue where to find purple. can anybody at least provide proof that we can even get one? Not old outdated database websites....... all of that is beta information AFAIK.

So when do the invite waves begin today? i havent noticed a thread to keep track of the waves yet.

11/18 here, no dice yet People such as myself pre-ordered when it still said we'll have access on the 15th, any later then that and its blatant false advertising. Shortly AFTER i pre-ordered it started saying "Upto 5 days early".... i assume that will not affect anybody who pre-ordered before they started using that phraseology.
