  1. the thing hes getting at is more versatile maps and different modes of pvp besides 8v8 4v4 and very few limited maps, the thing they could do is make a few pvp planets with story quests that pertain to pvp like certain aspects of the conflicts in different stages of the game, it could be a way to let players branch into side lines of the original class storys too, they have this war for iokath coming out in a few days the pvp worlds could even be on seperate areas of the planets already in the game say you have the area for the normal class quests and then the transports to different areas of the planet, they did that with makeb where you had to take a transport to each area and it would be a completely different map area kinda like pub/imp balmorra. lots of things they can do with existing content since one can complete the class story at their own pace, and the pvp rewards for those quests could give say 75% of what relentlesly grinding pvp for days on end could do and they could add pvp daylie quests in there too. this is just something i put together while half asleep so forgive if i step on any trolls tails.... then again the troll tails need to be crushed.... WHERES MA HEAVY BOOTS? lol
  2. hello, i tried to recruit the khem val look alike (cant remember the name) and i got to the room he was supposed to be in but he wasnt there, this was on one of my DVL characters and i tried resetting the mission and as far as i could tell that didnt work, im not sure if any others have encountered this issue or not so i thought id report it in case it had to do with the emergency release from yesterday. the time for the bug was around an hour or so ago before i saw the notice for maintennce.
  3. theres one thing, the level sync system isnt bad at all since you no longer have to roll out a new toon to help a friend lvl, now it is bad in the sense that things can kill you when things shouldnt be able to kill you, but apart from that it provides more of a challenge to the gameplay, unless you want them to take out lvls entirely and make it to where one shot can kill you if your hit, also unicorn sightings in texas? come on dude use more creativity, unicorns aresighted in texas all the time on tv lol and the world boss groups do form regularly now from what ive seen and taken part in you just have to be on a populated planet and be attentive ton certain keywords/letters like LFG WB and stuff to that nature the only reason i can see to complain on this is if your in your early teens or are just looking at things from a narrow view, no offence meant in any way just my two cents on the issue.
  4. For those that are having problems with not getting what you should, it could be a glitch if you have recurring subs, or it didn't log you in whatever system they used to keep track of those who were eligible for the rewards and early access
  5. ok then i have another question, why was i able to go to tython and get the class mission to talk to the trainer? if they are going to have access to the periferals they should atleast give you a checklist of the decisions so you know what was decided, i wouldnt have a problem with this instant 60 if the companion convos were available on my instant 60.
  6. hello i have a question, im wondering if it is possible to do my class story quests on an instant 60 if when i get in game i exit the chapter 1 of the new expac, i would like to complete the story at a leisurely pace with my insta 60 if possible.
  7. ok i looked around and didnt see anything similar to the idea i had for an addition to the crafting system, if anyone knows where a similar idea is posted let me know and ill try to move this post into that thread if i can. Now for the idea, my idea is to add a legacy page for crafting beyond what is already there in the achievments section. this page would have a full list of schematics for every crafting system with their tooltips, the layout would be like the family tree however the trees would be branched to show whats all craftable and which characters on your account on the server know what craft skill and which schematics were unlocked on each character... for how this would work visually think how minecraft achievments are laid out where the icons are lit up to show that youve achieved them. i know some would consider this an un-necessary thing however this would keep players like me who dont have all these resources that all the credit farmers and geniuses in the game have from wasting what resources we have cause in reverse engineering schems iv accidently made the wrong items several times and it just pisses me off when i do that... also the ability to see what each toon on our server thats connected to the legacy is crafting would be an asset to crafters and non crafters alike because some players craft gear exclusively for themselves so an ingame screen that shows this information would be appreciated, for example the tabs that hold this information could be set into the crafting interface layered under the crafting tab like how the quest log is for conquest and codex stuff... personally id like to see the ability to manage your entire legacys crafting from a single character but i think that would be asking too much anyway this concludes my idea, any advice to improve on this idea is appreciated... nay sayers are welcome but frowned on lol also i have a question for the developers since i dont wanna start another thread for a single question, are the player ships going to be the same in the new expac or are we gonna be able to choose different ships at some point in the game... cause id really like to be able to get my toons a dreadnaught to fly around in lol
  8. why are people bothering with an argument like this? its seems idiotic to speculate why they delayed the details on the new expansion, and it also seems pointless to measure each others virtual ***** on these forums by getting into a pissing contest with one another just play the game and gear ya chars to prepare for the new content and if ya cant gear ya chars anymore because ya are at max attainable gear for pve try pvp out if ya dont do any pvp on those chars and if youve only played one factions storys through to the end try the other factions theres plenty to do in game.. you can also work on your completion lvls for planets to get all the achievements and if ya can manage that ya really have bragging rights in this game... i guess my point is this... STOP ARGUING OVER POINTLESS STUFF! that is all take it or leave it i dont care... (it just sucks the fun out of a game when people are like this in them usually i try to avoid people like that.) and if ya are wondering why i bothered to respond to this thread its because it litterally pissed me off and i needed to vent (pun intended)
  9. ok ive been trying to find my way to pub balmora on my imp because i was looking for good places to farm mats and pub balmora came up as a good way to get a fair ammount of mats for 2 to 3 grades and im wondering how i can get there from imp balmora because i know ive been able to get to pub side or imp side on taris with both faction chars so i thought that was possible as well because i remember way back many many moons ago that i got one of my imp chars to pub balmora, i just cant remember how... anyone know?
  10. ok i think 140 purp mods for oricon even if ya have them in both your char and companion would make it very hard to do you would have to find a group of people running oricon as well so you could piggyback off of them while they do the dailies... however if ya have cyber and art at max ya can craft ya own 156 mods and not have to run oricon i recently outfitted a friend of mine who was coming back on her sorc healer in as many mods as i could craft for her and it helped her out a lot... however if you arent the crafting type you can always find a crafter to craft the mods for ya if ya have the mats... people like me would craft them for ya as long as we were provided the required number of mats we needed to craft them and me personally i wouldnt ask for a tip or anything except to be able to keep the crits from the crafting itself because cyber and art both have the 2 item crit if im not mistaken (edit) forgot to add that saving comms would be verry smart in any case if you can afford to do so so you wont be in that much of a hurry to get the newer gear that will be coming out with the expansion they are planning to release (just my intuition telling me that from what ive read) so take what ya will from this, but just enjoy yourself in the game i always have a blast when in game because although i wanna do well in this game thats just the point, its a game not that important when compared to real life
  11. ok i agree with most of what ya said on this but i think number 8 can be improved a bit, not allowing players to learn more than one craft skill on a single toon is a good thing because if ya had a char that had multiple craft skills you would need to increase to number of companions and companion mission limit so one craft skill per toon is what i think it should stay at however if they were to modify the crew skills to allow you to get all the gathering professions like slice arch bio and scavenge on a single toon that would help players immensely with their ability to gather crafting mats, because players like me are interested in not only being able to craft what we need for ourselves but also being able to adequately fund our craft without too much hassle and to be able to help our friends out in game not to mention that a lot of players like me have a hard time gathering mats and are forced to buy the extra we need off the gtn which if like me have trouble maintaining funds because we get caught up having fun with our friends.
  12. well the thing with that type of setup (for me anyway) is that ive gotten used to the number keys and have sorta trained myself without realising it to use my mid finger and thumb when necessary so i use my pinky ont the shift/ tab keys and the number 1 and 3 finger for the first 4 number keys... and i have no idea how it got like that lol i only realised it after i read the first post after thinking about it.... no clue as to what to do to be able to game better like that... or if i should try to force myself into a dif control scheme... and apparently someone posted as i was typing this lol
  13. hello i have a question regarding the classes in the game and its this what abilities are best suited to be assigned to the number keys 1through the = sign for all the classes Ive tried looking for the info online and couldn't find the info the only info i could find was on skill rotations and reading those gave me no clue how to assign the skills to the numbers for best usage so any good combos of skills would be appreciated and for organization purposes just put the advanced class name skill tree and the skills with the corresponding number key its assigned to in the simplest form possible pls and thank you STAY SITHY MY FRIENDS!!!
  14. id say the easiest way to add new classes is something like a neutral faction with 3 choices at the end of the starter quests 1: republic 2: empire 3: (new faction) something along the lines of what they did for wow with pandaria or something like adding in the chiss empire in the game... it already makes cameo appearances but for some reason is virtually unknown by the time of the movies... maybe some content that details those events that led to them being unknown or something.
  15. thanks for the good suggestions and i already have 14 toons on harbinger alone with 3 55s im just trying to 1 improve my skills as a gamer in general and 2 learn the good ways to make creds in game. gearing isnt a problem for me with my 3 55s i just have to run atleast 2 of them through the dailie areas and id have enough creds to gear a fresh 55.. like i did with my merc recently and while i have been playing this game since before it was f2p i honestly only started to get into mmos in 09 so im still inexperianced compared to other gamers. im also trying to become a game dev myself and make an mmo so thats part of the reason im asking to get feedback on different methods of making in game money so as to try to think of balancing mechanics for endgame cred making in the mmo im trying to develop.... still working with me myself and I on it lol
  16. hello this is a question for those on harbinger i have recently made another alt to try to get that character to be a major source of income for my account and my guild with the guildships having recently been released with part of them being credit sinks so i was wondering what gathering crew skills are most in demand, i.e the most saught after mats and such on harbinger, the alt i made is going to be strictly a gathering character so it wont be going on any ops for a long while. in short what would be the most recomended gathering skills for a char that is only gonna be played to gather creds and mats... i also have 1 other main gatherer however i havnt touched him in a long while so im trying to get a feel for what i need to do so as to make the neccessary creds to get what i want. pls and thnk you for the answers and fyi troll comments will be reported have fun and stay sithy my friends!

  18. hello im a pretty heavy swtor gamer and i just had an idea for a system that might help improve guild management and time consumption of players, although i dont know if anything like this has been suggested before here goes... the system that popped into my head earlier was the instalment of guild vendors, basicly what these vendors would do is act like a smaller version of the gtn but wouldnt phase out the gtn at all by being faction specific (not sure how it can work to keep balance between it and gtn)... the way the system could work would be that players who are trying to sell things in gen chat or trade chat such as premade dread forged gear or stuff like that can instead of having to put those types of things on the gtn they can put them in the guild vendor and the guild vendor can list the items even when players are offline and the players can set the prices of the items to be prices like mats plus a 100k or something like that and the base value of the item would be taxed so to speak for the guild bank funds which would make it easier for people to contribute to their guild without having to grind credits and such and the reason i suggest guild vendors is because i think they would help keep smaller guilds who cant afford things like the guild flagship to be able to afford it eventually and keep players available to continue on with their game without having to sit in one place and spam trade or gen chat and can say continue to harvest mats if they need to or whatever they wanna do whether its lvling an alt or more crafting. feedback is appreciated.
  19. as i said earlier i dont run dailies all the time, and when i was originally gearing my char i made several mistakes in how to eficiently gear him. im the type that doesnt get bored farming mobs for credits and loot.... so i guess you could say sometimes i just goof around because i feel like it plus i have also been trying to find full sets of inheritance gear for my lowbie chars so i dont have to worry about gear at certain points when itd be a pain to try to gear.
  20. i did start before i hit 55 however this was way before the hutt cartel expansion came out and at that time i kept getting huttball all the time.... i hate huttball so i never really got into pvp but i figured since they are doing pvp seasons now id start to gear for them and ive already completed most all the endgame story on my sorc at this point... the only thing left story wise for me on oricon is finishing dread palace on my sorc for the reward.
  21. the reason i asked is because i dont have any low lvl gear leftover from when i was gearing for ops the ops gear i have is all 168s or above... and i read in that article i mentioned earlier that anything above 172s if im understanding correctly loses expertise from bolster... so im wondering if wearing the lower lvl gear would be better than just going into pvp with my raid gear until i can get proper pvp gear... all my resources are tied up at the moment trying to help my guild get the guildship as fast as possible.
  22. hello im trying to get answers on what rout i should take in gearing my sorc for pvp since i virtually havnt touched pvp until recently and got creamed in pvp.... im not familiar with how gear works for pvp and so when i tried to pvp i had my ops gear on... didnt work too well.. so my question is this, since im a synthweaver on my sorc i crafted a green set of gear after reading something about ops gear not being good for pvp is that the right gear to use at this time since i dont have the ability to gear for pvp matches at this point and just slug through it to get the coms needed? pls and shank you for the answers ok forgot to put this in but pls no snide coments on just getting the lower lvl tier again... not everyone runs dailies all day long just to collect their coms so they can be at max comm capacity. so if ya dont have anything constructive to say regarding this question dont bother replying but thnks for the rplies already
  23. thnks for the tip and ive been all over makeb and ive never found more than 30 (atleast to my knowledge) spread out over the entire map.... guess ill just have to keep looking... thnks again and stay sithy my friends!!!
  24. hello i play on harbinger and would like to know a good location for endgame slicing nodes to harvest for credits... any tips? (not sure if a thread has been posted about this yet or at all... looked on the internet and the forums but couldnt find the info i was looking for)... happy gaming people! and stay sithy!
